Hi, Before three or four month, I have my exams due to which I feel stress and was not able to sleep at that night. After that day I am facing problem of sleepiness. I am fear in myself that what I do is sleep is not come due to fear of sleepless. I am not able to sleep and start more facing sleepless problem and feel depressed and frustrated. What can I do please reply as soon as possible because I am facing this problem more than 3 months.

Yes I read your problem. Stress is on of the factor. So relief in stress meditation is very helpful and deep breathing exercise for 15 minutes regulare is very helpful. Take at least 6 to 7 hrs sleep and avoid negative thinking and thinking about future. Live in present. Present is yours. So you can understand what can I say. It has been seen that the same dose becomes ineffective after some time (also known as Antidepressant Tachyphylaxis or poop out syndrome). To resolve this problem, first increase the dose to 15 mg. Firstly you need to calm down and relax your self before starting a conversation with the help of breathing exercises. Slow down your speed and prolong the word whenever you stutter. If it doesn't work then Consult a speech therapist and take speech therapy sessions.

Dear Mr. lybrate-user, Psychotherapy is treatment of choice for social anxiety. You symptoms what you have mentioned appears more related to performance anxiety. Various type of anti-anxiety medicines are available today so it would be better if you could consult a psychiatrist to decide which medicine would suit you best.

If you are talking to yourself, that is not as good sign. At your age a lot of things could be happening especially due to hormonal disturbances. Some of these will be issues that have had origins in childhood and are looking for a resolution. I suspect that there could be something you are looking at that needs immediate attention. If you do not resolve that, you will carry a permanent negative trait into adulthood. Meet with a counselor along with your parents and get help soon. In the meantime do get involved with people and spend less time alone. Do interesting activities and get active in sports and exercise.

Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc are signs of anxiety. These can be debilitating. If the anxiety is overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve.

Hello Sir/Mam, I am 26 years boy and I have problem of anxiety and depression. I am not happy with my life and always want to die. I always think and think and get depressed. Whatever I do I can't concentrate on that. My mind always think of negative things like whatever work I do my mind think of negative things. I can explain what actually is happening with me - If I want to go out or eat something or want to do any work than my mind thinks of lots of negative things that if I don't do this than something wrong will happen or if I didn't go their than something negative will happen. When I walk or eat or any work I do my mind always thinks lots of negative things and due to this I can't live my life happily.

Hello Lybrate User I appreciate your effort that you could understand and put it in words what you are going through. It is very important or rather a first step that we require some help. After reading what you have mentioned, I would suggest you to visit a Psychiatrist or if the psychiatrist is not available in your area then visit a physician for the same. Side by side if you can seek help from a clinical psychologist, it would be great as it will you to understand your symptoms more and more and also an understanding would be developed about your personality traits, your coping mechanisms and what is actually leading to such thinking. A lot of people undergo certain life events, if not events but 'something' keeps on bothering them, due to which one develops negative thinking towards the self and the others. Moreover, it seems that you have started making associations of lot of things in your life, like if I will do this, that will happen etc. Or just like you mentioned in your concern. Therapy with the psychologist helps you to develop a skill to deal with this vicious circle you are into most of the time. So, consult a psychiatrist and a clinical psychologist, take few therapy sessions with the clinical psychologist and you will experience a shift from your current state of mind. Hello Mr. lybrate-user, do not get depressed by depression, it is not something like which can be treated fully by medicine. Its only you who can cope up and come out of this phase. Depression is just a phase. But continuous thinking about problems keeps on prolonging it. First of always keep in mind that we can not control all the situations around us. Something we have to let go the problems. Try to find solution, not worrying about problems. Have confidence in you. You can pass this bad phase also. There are few ayurvedic medicine which will help you to relax your self. But don't be dependent on medicine. These medicine don't cause any side effect as well as dependency. Take stress com 2 capsule twice daily and SARASWATARISTA 20 ml after meal with water. Try to make a time table for all things don't be lethargic. Do not skip meal. Take warm water.
