Some habits that can improve your sleep health: Be consistent. Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before bedtime Get some exercise. Being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night. You can try Kali Phos at bedtime. It is most likely to be IBS. No one wants to have irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), but if you take some preventive measures, you may be able to avoid it. Stress, anxiety, or eating and drinking the wrong things can cause digestive problems. You can find long-term solutions by making some simple changes in how you respond to stress and paying attention to your diet, nutrition, and lifestyle. Take a look at these seven tips to keep your flare-ups at bay. Tip 1: Manage Your Stress Stress-related symptoms—like abdominal pain and bloating—occur more often and more intensely in people with IBS. Managing the stress in your life is important in avoiding flare-ups. There are several effective methods for stress management that can improve IBS symptoms, including deep breathing and yoga. The secret is to breathe from your diaphragm, not your chest, to relax your abdominal muscles. Doing so can lead to more regular bowel activity. Tip 2: Relax Progressively Relaxing the muscles in your body can help alleviate an upset stomach. To use this form of relaxation, start by tensing and then relaxing the muscles in your feet. Then move your way up through your calves, thighs, abdomen, arms, and each main muscle group in your body, ending with your face and scalp. Concentrate on releasing all of the tension in each body part as you go. Tip 3: Talk to a friend/counsellor Beat stress by examining how you respond to life events, and guiding you toward more effective responses. Tip 4: Find More Fiber In addition to stress management techniques, tweaking your diet can also help prevent IBS. One of the most common ways is to incorporate more fiber into your meals. However, while dietary fiber can ease some gastrointestinal symptoms (like constipation), it can make other symptoms worse (like gas and cramping). To minimize potential problems, try a gradual increase of fiber over the course of a few weeks. Tip 5: Steer Clear of These Foods Certain foods are known to make IBS symptoms worse. Watch what makes your own symptoms worse, and avoid those products. Some common culprits include: chocolate sugar-free sweeteners (such as sorbitol or mannitol) cauliflower broccoli cabbage beans Some people also have trouble with dairy. You can try substituting yogurt for milk, or decreasing the quantity of dairy products you consume. Other things that might work are breaking down lactose with an enzyme product, or combining dairy with other foods. Tip 6: Drink Right While drinking enough fluids each day helps IBS symptoms, not all fluids have the same effect on your stomach. Water soothes stomach distress, but several other beverages can cause problems, including: alcoholic drinks coffee, tea, and other caffeinated drinks carbonated drinks like soda Alcohol and drinks with caffeine may make diarrhea worse. Soda and other drinks with carbonation can cause gas.

I have heavy dark circles and acne marks on my face. Can you please suggest that how can I get rid of it?

I have heavy dark circles and acne marks on my face. Can you please suggest that how can I get rid of it?
Get your beauty sleep. Get plenty of sleep nightly. It’s not completely clear why inadequate sleep results in dark circles under the eyes, but lack of sleep tends to cause the skin to become paler (thus increasing the appearance of darkness under the eyes), and reduces circulation.[2] It’s also believed that too little time lying down is a cause in itself. Before going to bed at night, remove all eye makeup. If you don't, when you get older, you can look much more tired on a continuing basis Treat your allergies. Allergies are a common cause of skin discoloration under the eyes. If an allergy is the root of your problem, treat the allergy or remove the allergen. Seasonal allergy problems such as the hay fever can frequently be effectively treated with Homoeopathy. A blocked nose can result in dark circles under your eyes because the veins around your sinuses are darkened and dilated. Eat well. Eat a healthy, balanced diet, take vitamins, and drink plenty of water. A whole host of cosmetic problems can be attributed to vitamin deficiencies. Dark circles and puffiness are often attributed to lack of vitamin K or inadequate antioxidants. Also, a deficiency in B12 (usually anemia-related) can result in dark circles. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially cabbage, spinach, and other leafy green vegetables. Take a daily vitamin supplement if necessary. Get adequate fluids to improve circulation. Reduce salt intake. Excess salt causes the body to retain water in unusual places, and this can result in puffiness under the eyes. Too much salt can also impair your circulation and cause the blood vessels under the skin to appear bluer. Examine your smoking habit and decide to quit. Smoking causes vascular (blood vessel) problems that can not only threaten your life but also make your blood vessels appear more prominent and bluer. Relax. Relaxing might help remove sources of stress and anxiety that are preventing you from sleeping, eating and resting properly. In turn, relaxing enough will help the skin beneath your eyes to improve as you feel less stressed and more at ease. Skin tends to reflect a whole host of emotional and physical ailments, so don't dismiss the need to relax lightly. Accept what you can't change. There are some causes to under-eye circles you can't do much to reverse, unfortunately. These include: Pigmentation irregularities. These can cause darker circles under the eyes. Sun exposure. This can increase melanin production. Thinning from age. Aging thins the skin, making veins and vessels more obvious as your fat and collagen depletes over time. Heredity. Establish whether or not this condition runs in your family, as under-eye dark circles are believed to frequently be hereditary. This doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything about the conditions, but you should be prepared for minimal success when trying to get rid of them. Your facial features. Dark circles may be as simple as shadows being thrown by your own features.[There isn't much you can do to change this other than a careful use of cosmetics. Hormones. Regular hormone changes, such as pregnancy and menstruation, can also cause dark circles. FOR MEDICATION CONSULT ONLINE IN PRIVATE.

If you're suffering from acne, you're not alone. Acne is a common skin condition that happens when oil and dead skin cells clog the skin’s pores. It normally occurs on the face, chest, back, shoulders, and neck. Acne can be caused by many things: heredity, hormones, and oil production. Avoid touching your face. Dirt and bacteria on your hands can clog your pores and make acne worse if you constantly touch your face. If your skin feels irritated from acne, use a gentle, oil-free daily facial wipe to remove excess dirt and calm your skin. Do not squeeze or pop your blemishes or you may risk developing scars. Squeezing a pimple might even spread the bacteria further Wash regularly. Wash your skin using your fingertips, once in the morning and once at night. Remember to thoroughly rinse your skin with lukewarm water after washing it. Limit washing to twice a day and after you sweat. Sweating can irritate your skin. Wash your skin as soon as possible after sweating. Eat a healthy diet. Avoid meat that contains hormones and similar substances which could throw your hormones out of balance, causing acne. Instead, eat plenty of fiber, fresh vegetables and fruits. Foods rich in vitamin A, C, E, and zinc can help reduce the severity of acne through the nutrients’ anti-inflammatory properties. Apply aloe vera gel. Daily apply aloe vera gel liberally over your skin. You can find it at most drug stores. Aloe vera is a succulent plant with antibacterial properties that are effective in treating acne and reducing inflammation. It prevents bacteria from infecting acne wounds and speeds up the healing process Some people may be allergic to aloe. If a rash develops, stop using it Homoeopathy is wonderful in treating such chronic, repetitive complaints. It builds up immunity and restores health of an individual. My report says_ "Both lobes of liver show homogenous mid-level echotexture. Intrahepatic portal and hepatic venous systems appear normal. No obvious intrahepatic mass lesson is seen. Intrahepatic biliary radicals are not dilated. What does it mean? Is there any problem?

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Pune
Echotexture is a term used by ultrasonologists in their reports. When an ultrasound is performed a transducer in the probe emits ultrasonic sound waves that travel into your body from where the probe is placed to a depth that is determined by the transducer frequency. When the waves come in contact with any object, depending on it's size, density and surface, some waves pass through while others bounce back. The waves that bounce back are recorded by a receiver in the ultrasound probe to create an image. If certain parts of the liver are abnormally more dense they will reflect more waves (hyperechoic) and if less dense will reflect less waves (hypoechoic). If there is uniform reflection by whole liver it is labelled homogenous echotexture while is there is no uniformity a term heterogenous echotexture is applied. In short the report is normal.

How to improve memory power? How can we memories quickly something while reading or during exam time?

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS

1Keep a daily to-do list. Keep a small notepad where you can write down tasks that need to be done. If you are in the middle of something important and get interrupted, writing down what you need to do later will help you remember. 2.Use a calendar for scheduling activities. If you're busy with school, work, or caring for your family, it can be hard to keep track of all the assignments, meetings, and events going on each day, week, or month. A calendar will help you to avoid forgetting when something is due as well as the exact time and date. 3.Try creating habits. If, for example, you always forget to pack your yoga mat for class after work, you can work on making this part of your daily routine and create a new habit. Making something a habit takes time (longer for some than for others), but it can be done. Try forming habits by using the 3 Rs: Reminder, Routine, Reward. 4.Identify distractions that lead to forgetting. With a busy and stressful lifestyle, there may be things that you or others do that distract you from getting things done. Distractions can be your own avoidance technique, or they can be external forces that inhibit focus and concentration 5.Make time to relax. Avoid filling your day with too many meetings, events, or chores such that you have no "down time." Being busy is not a competition, and your mind shouldn't feel like it's on overdrive on a regular basis. Allow yourself to have time to yourself, so that you aren't overworked and overstressed. 6.Exercise your brain. Keeping your brain active through games or hobbies that stimulate focus and help you mental strength. While exercising the whole body keeps you healthy and reduces stress, try these activities to help you keep your brain healthy 7.Be aware of your family medical history. Does your family have a history of dementia, a thyroid disorder, or a mental health condition? 8.Eat healthy. Your diet affects all aspects of your body including the brain. Boost your body and brain's ability to focus and retain memories through healthy eating habits and avoiding junk food. Make sure to drink plenty of water. Consider these brain healthy foods 9.Get a good night's rest. Getting enough sleep (generally between seven to nine hours a night) will allow your mind and body time to recuperate and relax before another busy day begins. Denying yourself adequate sleep could lead to a lack of focus, forgetfulness, and impaired ability to do daily activities. 10.Exercise. Regular exercise has proven to not only help you stay in shape and keep your heart healthy, but it also helps to get the blood flowing to the brain. Keeping active therefore not only helps the body but also the mind. Consider these ways to keep fit For medication consult online in private.

Hi, I am using glomela cream since one month. my face got lighter but is it permanent or my face will get dark.
If you want to lighten your complexion, there are natural remedies that you can try to brighten your skin a few shades. Since many commercial creams are ineffective or unhealthy to use, turning to natural methods to get fairer skin is a smart choice. A common household ingredient — lemon juice — works especially well to lighten skin tone. Staying out of the sun and using natural facial masks will also keep your skin from getting darker. Protect yourself from the sun. Most of the normal darkening and discoloration of your skin is caused by exposure to the sun's ultraviolet (UV) rays. If you're extremely concerned about having fairer skin, staying indoors will keep your skin as light as possible. When that's not possible, protect your skin use SPF sunblock with a minimum SPF of 30. Most dermatologists agree an SPF 15 is not sufficient anymore. Dangerous UVA and UVB rays are still reaching your skin. You want 98% or more of the sun's rays to be blocked. Wear a hat to protect your face when you're outside. Especially in the summer. There are so many fashionable hats these days, you can also be a trend-setter while you are protecting your skin. Exfoliate your skin a few times a week. Doing manual exfoliation can really help to lighten the skin, since the process takes off dead skin cells. Keep in mind that exfoliation only helps if your current skin is darker than your normal skin tone, because it reveals fresh skin that is untouched by the sun. You can exfoliate your skin manually by using a body scrub or face wash with exfoliating particles. To make your own, just add a teaspoon of ground almonds or oatmeal to your regular cleanser. Using a scrub brush or a dry brush is a great way to exfoliate your entire body. For your face, use a special brush with softer bristles so you don't damage the fragile skin there. Keeping your skin healthy by protecting it from the sun, exfoliating and using natural lightening methods is your best bet for keeping it on the lighter side in tone. Remember that consistency is the key, and do your facial treatments several times a week. For medication consult online in private.

Blow your nose sparingly. Your natural instinct may be to blow your nose when it feels blocked, but the jury's still out on whether this is actually a good idea or not. Some studies have shown that forcefully blowing your nose can actually lead to a build-up of pressure and trapped mucus in your sinuses, which may become infected.[1] On the other hand, some experts claim that it is important to blow your nose when you're suffering from a cold, as this rids the body of surplus mucus, helping you to decongest.[2] As a compromise, try to only blow your nose when absolutely necessary Drink honey and lemon tea. This is a simple yet effective cold relief remedy that has been around for a long time. To make the honey and lemon tea, boil some water, pour it into a mug, stir in 1 1/2 tablespoons of lemon juice and two teaspoons of honey. The honey will help soothe your sore throat, while the lemon helps to clear up a blocked nose. The vitamin C is also good for fighting infections generally. Flush out your sinuses. One treatment for nasal decongestion which has become very popular in recent years is the practice of flushing out the sinuses with a Neti pot. The Neti pot contains a saline solution which is poured in one nostril and out the other. This thins the mucus in the nasal passages, allowing it to be flushed away. The saline solution can be purchased at most drug stores, or you can make your own. Homoeopathy is wonderful in treating such chronic, repetitive complaints. Hello, I'm a 20 years old college going girl. I want to switch to menstrual cup from pad, is it safe to use?
Every 4–12 hours, the cup is removed, emptied, rinsed, and reinserted. After each period, the cup should be boiled for at least 5 minutes and stored for use the next month. If such measures are not done it may lead to infection. Think about it before you make the decision.

Gain weight healthily by eating 5-6 meals a day, even if they are slightly smaller than usual. Make sure each meal includes healthy, calorie-dense foods like nuts and full-fat dairy, as they will help you gain more weight without feeling too full. If you don’t feel like you can eat more, drink liquid calories like 100% juices or smoothies because, since they tend to be less filling than food, they allow you to consume more calories overall. Eat healthy foods that are calorie-dense. When you're trying to gain weight it's important to maximize the amount of calories you can consume with each meal and snack. Calorie-dense foods are items that are high in calories per serving.Consume these foods with each meal and snack. Calorie dense foods to incorporate into your diet include: nuts and nut butters, avocados, full-fat dairy products (cheese, yogurt and milk), butter and oil, and eggs. Also use full-fat condiments like regular mayonnaise, full-fat cream cheese or full-fat salad dressings. Not all high-fat foods are healthy or appropriate to eat more frequently or in larger quantities. Minimize these foods: fast food, deep fried foods, candy, and high-fat processed meats (bologna or hot dogs). If you're eating multiple times throughout the day, you may feel more full. This may lead to smaller meals instead of several large meals. Even when meals/snacks are small, if they are calorie dense, they can help induce weight gain. Add extra calories to meals and recipes. In addition to eating more calorie dense foods, you can also increase calories in your favorite meals and recipes. Adding extra foods or using higher calorie ingredients in your recipes is an easy way to bulk up your total calories. The more of a caloric punch you can add to meals, the more calories you'll consume over a given day and week. In recipes, use full-fat dairy products or dried milk in soups, stews or casseroles calling for water. Drizzle extra olive oil or add an extra pat of butter to salads, steamed vegetables, soups and casseroles. Top lower calorie foods with high-calorie toppings. For example, top whole milk yogurt with nuts and granola or top your salad with full-fat shredded cheese and sunflower seeds. Perform strength training activities. Strength training can aid in your weight gain. As you build lean muscle mass, you may notice your weight increases. This is highly important when attempting to gain weight. Many people do not realize that exercise is crucial to weight gain, just as it is to weight loss. Strength training activities include: weight lifting, isometric exercises (push-ups or crunches) and Pilates. Strength training does burn calories, just not as many as aerobic activities. However, it's still important to be aware of how the calories burned during these exercises affects your weight. For medication consult online in private.
