I met with and accident few months back and it caused my leg to have a major ligment problem. After few days it got recovered by itself and recently while playing my leg slipped at knee and it hurted again. Then went through tests and reports are saying that my legments are completly torned and doctor suggested for a legment surgery. Now I think it is recovering again and is causing no more pain. Should I go through suregry? please suggest.

At the age of 29yrs if you want to pursue sports, acl tear plus one more ligamnet injury/meniscus injury will definitely require surgery. It is better to get operated by arthroscopy so that your recovery will be faster. You will have to take care i. E. Wear brace for atleast three months from the date of surgery.

Dear user. If you want the precautions to be taken then here I suggest you for these eating foods to avoid and reduce scoliosis. Rich food sources of calcium include: collard greens, kale, spinach, sardines, tofu, dairy products, almonds and sesame seeds. Vitamin d is produced by your skin in response to intense sunshine, although many people try to avoid the sun. Vitamin d isn't found in many foods, but the best sources are: fatty fish (salmon, tuna, mackerel), fish oils, beef liver, hard cheese and egg yolks.

May be strain n deficiency of calcium levels ok firstly avoid running do only walk for 2 days tk muscle relaxant medicine and apply heat formation with rest time and tk a roll of towel put the under knee and press for 10 second then released ok do 10 to 15 times if it ok otherwise tk vitd and calcium oral ya medicine.

Dear you can follow these methods for relief from Backache(back pain): * First correct your sitting posture. Do not bend your lower back.You can use lumber belt for support. * Do regular back strength exercises.Move your clockwise and anticlock wise. * Do not sleep on very soft bed ,sleep on slight hard cotton mattress. * Do Tadasana and Bhjangasana for back strengthening.If you can not understand these asans you can consult me. * Take calcium rich diet and calcium and vitamin D supplements regularly. *Do not Take any heavy weight or heavy work. * If you are over weight then follow a good and effective diet plan to loose some kilos of weight. Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

1. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. 2. Learn spinal exercises. 3. Don't sit on floor. 4. Don't lift heavy things. 5. Use lumber spine belt. 6. Apply volini cream before sleeping. 7. Do Hot fermentation twice a day. 8. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 sachet and Methylcobalmine supplement for one month minimum.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
