As you have said you are obese. So reduce your weight first. And increase physical activity such as join yoga. Or dance class. Weight reduction by 10 % will bring spontaneous ovulation and menses. Go for newer and more effective medicines together with physical activity.

Make paste of dried ginger (adrak) with water and apply on head before sleeping. Rub sandalwood (chandan) in water on a clean surface. Apply the paste prepared on head. When it is dry apply next layer of paste on it. Repeat the procedure three to four times. This is specially good for headache caused by heat. Apply some ghee on the leaf of castor (arandi) and then keep this leaf on head. Make a thick paste of betel leaves (paan) with water and apply this on head for some time. Take amla powder 5-10 gm with equal ghee and sugar twice a day. In headache due to cold apply paste of black pepper (kaali mirch) on forehead. Make paste of holy basi l (tulsi) leaves and apply it on forehead for sometime. Rub nutmeg (jayphal) fruit in milk on a clean surface and make a thin paste. Apply it on forehead. For more suggestions n treatment consult me privately.

Doctor's Advice On How To Keep Your Eyes Safe This Diwali

Doctor's Advice On How To Keep Your Eyes Safe This Diwali
Tip for eye care

This is the worst time of the year, for your eyes. Pollution from firecrackers, smog due to weather change and generally ever increasing vehicular pollution adds up to be the worst for your eye health.

Protect your eyesight and take care of your eyes by following these simple daily eye care tips.

1. Eat Well: Protect your eyes from within. Eat for good vision. Eat foods that have various nutrients such as omega 3 fatty acids, zinc and lutein, vitamins A, C and E to keep eye problems at bay. Green leafy vegetables, salmon and other oily fishes, eggs and nuts, orange and citrus fruits are great for eyesight.

2. Quit Smoking: For better eye-care leave smoking. This simple activity can make you likelier to get optic nerve damage, macular degeneration and cataracts.

3. Have eye-care routine: Most of us don’t have an eye care routine, which is essential for keeping them fit. So, develop a good eye-care routine. In this routine, practice eye exercises, focusing eyes on a point far away to promote muscle development. Clean eyes everyday with fresh, clean water to reduce eye mites and other problems.

4. Wear Sunglasses: Wearing sunglasses on a regular basis will protect eyes from UV rays and ensure protection. This will help in reducing the chances of getting cataracts and developing macular degeneration.

5. Use Safety Wear: It is important that you regularly wear safety wear problems. For instance, for sports, wear eye protection products, sports goggles or protective face masks.

6. Look away from computer: A lot of us use computers too much for work and recreation. Now is the time to look away from it. Staring at the computer for long can cause eyestrain and blurry vision, trouble focusing at a distance and result in dry eyes as well as neck and shoulder pain with headaches. So, take regular breaks from that computer.

My name is Saurabh. I had a problem of stammering. I stutter a lot nd this creates a great hindrance in my speaking. I also lack self confidence due to this and sometimes I undergo serious depression. Please help me how to overcome this problem. Its a major issue for me.

BSC - Hearing and Speech
Speech Therapist, Salem
Hi lybrate-user. Stammering can be controlled with the help of Speech Therapy. For Stammering purpose, we call it as “ Fluency Speech therapy”. First we need to find out how much severity of stammering do you have (in terms of %age). There are standardized tests to find the percentage out. Based on that percentage we can start working on Treatment plan. Please find out your Stammering Severity first. Then asap we can start working on your speech to be normal. Wish you all the best! For more details please contact. Thanks,

Hello, for your cholesterol levels you don't need any medicine. And yes for your uric acid and HB you need to consult a doctor. For your cholesterol eat raw garlic clove daily and reduce your oil intake. Regural exercise is a must. Drink plenty of water.
