1) eat foods rich in protein like milk and milk product, eggs, chicken, meat. 2) eat energy dense foods like nuts, dates, potato, halwa, kheer etc. 3) eat fruits high in energy like banana, chickoo, sitaphal, mango, grapes. 4) eat two servings of pulses in a day esp. Soybean and urad dal. 5) have proper rest.

To increase weight you do exercise like weight lifting and other muscle building exercise.It will help you to increase weight.Eat more food more frequently.Take more dense fruits,vegetables,unrefined foods.Take more fish,egg,lean meat,mushroom,tofu,cottage cheese,peas,peanut.Use fat like olive oil,fish oil,canola oil.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Drink lots of water but not just before and during meals.Take proper rest.

Weaning is recommended when the baby is 9 months old. If you are still breast feeding, it is recommended to stop it immediately. As the child grows, his nutritional need also increase which is drained out from you. You should start outside food for your baby as early as possible if the child is more than 7 months old.

Hello, Doing exercises regularly will not only cut down your belly fat, but also you will get a body in good shape and you will be get rid of many diseases related to it! Following exercises will help you to achieve this if you don’t have any other medical condition: 1.The Plank - Lie down on your tummy and then come on your palms and toes.Lift the knees off the floor. Draw your tummy muscles up and breathe deeply into the side and back of the rib cage. Aim to hold the pose for 30 seconds. 2.Static Tiger pose - Place your hands and knees on the floor. This is the starting position. Now lift up one leg and extend the opposite arm. Hold this Static Tiger Pose for 3 deep breaths. Come back to the starting position and swap sides, extending arm and opposite leg. You can look down towards the mat to keep the spine in line. This exercise will build core strength. 3.Sitting Spinal Twist - Sit on the floor and cross your legs. Place one hand next to your hip and the other on the knee. Rotate the spine and look over one shoulder into a Sitting Spinal Twist. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. Swap sides, rotating and looking over the shoulder. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. 4.Stomach Crunches - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your hands on your thighs, across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your knees until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 stomach crunches. 5.Oblique Crunch - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Roll your knees to one side down to the floor. Place your hands across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your hips until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 oblique crunches and repeat on the opposite side. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Nuts, such as almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds and flax seeds, are full of calories and make the perfect snack between meals. Munch on them to enjoy their taste, nutrients and of course weight gain. For a healthy lifestyle Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Fasting glucose 143 mg means there is diabetes. Even cholesterol is also high. What about other lipids like LDL, TGL and HDL cholesterol? Also check after food glucose and HbA1c%, that will give a clear idea about diabetes. But it appears that you have T2 DM and dyslipidemia. Both need to be treated with appropriate drugs, diet and exercise which you are already doing. For specific treatment advice you will have to come in a private conversation, then only I will be able to prescribe necessary drugs. Because in this communication we are supposed to give only general guidelines. Thanks.

Hi Reduction of 3 kgs per month is perfectly fine. It will greatly benefit you physically, mentally and emotionally. Go for it. Dont give up. But dont crash diet. Start doing 45 mins exercise daily. Cut down fried foods and junk food. Cut down oil, ghee, butter etc. Start taking more fruits and cucumber daily. Drink more water. Reduce portion size of meals. All the best!

being a diabetologist this is the most common question people ask..answer is yes but you have to decide the portion size.extra small banana i.e 6 inch or less contain 18.5 gm of carbohydrate.medium (7-8inch) 27 gm of carbohydrate and large banana (8-9) 31 gm of carbohydrate....the portion size depends on how your blood sugar responds to eating banana or other fruits..good luck

Mr. Lybrate-user, diabetes mellitus if not controlled properly affects small and large blood vessels. Erectile dysfunction (ed), is a complication due to microvascular affection. It is one of the most common condition reported in dm. If it has developed, it may be very difficult to reverse it. A strict blood sugar control is a must, plus some other medications may have to be used. So first step is try achieve fasting sugar nearer 100 mg and pp around 150 to 160 mg and hba1c <7%.

Few tips on diet say no to maida items like toast, khaari ,naan ,white bread. Can drink tea but without sugar say no to Buffalo milk and can drink cows milk can eat brown bread can eat sprout's can eat green vegetables, can eat chappati ,bajra ka rotla can eat one katori of rice twice a day with dal to avoid farsan food items can eat fruits say no to coconut water.
