what do you understand by serious problem. yes, its not life threatening but it can deteriorate your quality of life. it needs attention and treatment it can be treated through medication and psychotherapy. if its first episode treatment will give symptomatic relief in 1 n half month but medicines have to be continued for 1 year or so to eliminate from root. if medicines are discontinued it will resurface. all the best

There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed .it is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1.boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2.apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

It may be due to slow peristalsis, Food allergies or minimal Intestinal obstruction due to some infection/infestation/Inflammation, You may send me more information about your problem for better diagnosis Until then you can take Homeopathic Treatment. If you have Faith in Homeopathy, You can use following Homeopathic Medicines: (1) Kalmegh Q (2) Chelidonium Q Avoid fat fried food, take small meals at short intervals, preferably early breakfast and light dinner. Probably, its hypertrichosis, if it grows, get it removed. If not let it be, it vil not harm you. If you develop any new patchs, get it evaluated, you may require blood tests.

Your weight.& age is o. K. No need to increase it. But. You can take. Udad dal daily in your lunch with ghee. Take ashvagandha kshirpak 200 m. L. Twice a day. Do pranayam daily twice a day.

I have PCOD, diagnosed in July 2015, married in Dec 2013, TTC since Feb 2015, took myoinisitol, duphaston n all9, regular periods since Aug 2015, average 29 days. This month it's already 8 days past taking last dosage of duphaston, but no periods, PT -ve. What can b odr reason for d delay?

As you r already suffering from pcod, menses can get delayed even with slight change in hormones. You have not mentioned your last menses date. If it is crossed the date by 7 days then urine test to be done and if negative keep repeating every week till you get menses. Myo-inisitol and duphaston have already proven by research to be not effective for treatment of pcod.

Hai, please try doing g stomach compressing exercise or yogasanas. Asanas like pavana mukthasana, bhujangasana are helpful along with your diet control. Please try to have supper early, so that minimum there is 1 and half hours gap between supper and bed time. Have always light supper.

Hi lybrate-user, you had periods on 18th february and had protected sex on 16th day of your cycle. If you have a 28 day cycle, then the 16th day is unsafe and the chances of pregnancy were high. But since you had used protection, the chances reduce. Nevertheless, it would be better if you undergo a urine pregnancy test to rule out the chances of pregnancy. If the test is negative, you can rest assured that you will definitely get your periods.

Dear lybrateuser, -There is no evidence to suggest that doing or lifting weight by left hand causes heart problems, the effect of doing any work from either side will have the same effect on the body.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Myth No. 1: It is ok to have a high blood pressure in elderly.

Blood pressure tends to rise with age, but it does not mean that this rise is normal. It happens because with age, the arterial walls become stiff and this stiffness cannot be called as a normal stiffness. Stiff arteries make the heart to pump harder. Blood pounding against the artery walls, damages them over time. The overworked heart muscles become less effective and pumps even harder to meet the body demand for blood. This further damages the arteries and invites fats into the artery walls. This results in lipid deposition, formation of blockage and future heart attack and paralysis.

So the fact is, irrespective of age, keep your diastolic blood pressure below 80 and systolic below 120. Start treatment if the blood pressure is more than 140/90.

Myth No. 2: The risk of heart disease can be lowered with vitamins and supplements.

It’s a myth that vitamin C, E and β carotenes lower heart attack risk. The American Heart Association has stated that there is no scientific evidence that these supplements prevent or treat heart diseases. The fact is eat a wide variety of nutritious food which includes all 6 tastes and 7 colors and get natural vitamins and supplements.

Myth No. 3: Women do not suffer from heart disease.

The fact is whether you are a man or a woman, you are at risk, if you do not follow the lifestyle. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women over age 65. Today more woman get heart disease than combine cancer in them.

Myth No. 4: Heart patients should not eat fat at all.

It is true that you should eat a diet low in saturated fat and zero in trans fats but other fats like unsaturated fats in vegetable oil are beneficial. In fact eating fish high in omega-3 fatty acids twice a week can lower the risk of heart disease.

When you are trying to gain weight, you should eat food the rich in vitamins and minerals. 1. Healthy food includes meat, egg, milk, fruit vegetables, fruits, and nuts. Cashews, almonds, dates, walnuts, dry grapes, apricots, peaches are some of the dried fruits and nuts that can be added to breakfast, salads, cereal and desserts. Sesame seeds, ground nuts, and peanuts also contain fats in them and can help in adding that extra pounds you desire. 2. Sometimes loss of appetite may also cause weight loss. So you should take following remedies improving weight a]triphala kadha 4tsp before lunch and dinner b]amala juice 4 tsp + sugar 2 tsp+ honey 2 tsp empty stomach in the morning umami flavor increases satiety and enhances appetite. Due to improving hunger and digestion whatever you will eat more and even you eat more it will digest properly and your weight will increase naturally without any supplement.

Do a head massage with tungadrumadi taila (ayurvedic preparation), take a warm water bath after this, drink a cup of warm buffalo milk after dinner daily. Practice meditation for 15 -20 min.
