I am having a severe pain in the joints of my elbow and in my back too. Is that a sign of fracture in the elbow joint or it is because I had a function at home and I had lifted a lot of weight for a long time. I feel like my left side is paralyzed I am feeling difficult to do any work with left side of my hand because of this severe pain So can you tell me what to do?

Sir, I have suffered anterior dislocation on my right shoulder. And it was set by my coach. But since then it starting dislocating when ever the stress is applied and I was suffering pain but not heavily. Does it have a permanent solution. For stopping it ?

There is no permanent medical cure for this and you need intensive physical therapy almost on a daily basis to keep progression under check. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.

Dear lybrate user, your back pain might b postural defect, please, correct it, first, take, calcium, vit'd. Take, homoeo medicine @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @ arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Avoid to bend to lift heavy weight. Cold intake, cold exposure. Take, apple, mushrooms, carrots, cheese, milk, spinach. Please, report, wkly.

I am a 57 year. Old female, suffering from lumbar spondylosis. Early symptoms were pain, tingling, burning in the toes esp the right foot-toes. Loss of sensation in the third right foot toe. This has led to hallux valgus - bunion in the rt foot, which gives pain of and on. Undergoing homeo treatment, last 3 years-there is relief, but can, t stop treatment even for a few days. Please advise.

Hello , there are wonderful exercises which will help your symptoms in gradually bringing down. Just medication is not enough as your symptoms show that probably there could be some tear which is irritating your nerve which supplies the the leg. For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform

Massage daily with warm til oil. Take one spoon ajwain, boil it in 1 cup water, filter and drink on an empty stomach in morning. You wont feel stiffed knees.

Hello, don't worry if all the reports are normal.Take Five phos 6x, 5 tabs twice daily. Take no. 19 , 5 tabs thrice daily. Revert me after 10 days.Thanks.

Back pain may be due to strain, sprain, weather change etc. *Avoid bending forward while working on lap top or for any other work. *Don’t sit continuously working on laptop etc. Get up periodically and move around. *Restrict bike driving as far as possible. *Don’t carry laptop or any load on your shoulder. Carrying very light loads equally with both hands is better *Sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *You can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *Soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *Get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. To start with, take Rhus tox 200--once daily in the morning and evening for 6 days

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Which is the better calcium after bone fracture (femur fracture) for healing of bone.

Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

I am siva kumar. K from SRIKAKULAM town of andhra pradesh. I am 37 years old, I have a problem that. My both knees are painful in climbing steps etc. Then I consult a good orthopaedician and he gave treatment x. Ray and told that my patella is some type small problem that they are depression that is the problem then he advised to do some exercises. But some times they getting pain why this. Please give any treatment. My Wright also reducing to now at 72kgs.

You should take Mag phos 12 x - twice daily 4 tablets and additional dose at the time of pain. Secondly wear a knee-cap/crep-bandages if it helps you. Do hot and cold compress alternately till the time you get relief. Be vegetarian and never push too hard for climbing/walking. For further queries get back to me.
