Hello,Homoeopathic medicines are less invasive and have more herbal approach towards gaining the weight. There are a number of homoeopathic medicines, which treat the root cause behind the body’s inability to gain weight or bulk up. 1. Take alfalfa tonic(wsi), 2 – 2 tsp. Thrice a day, half an hour before meals. 2. Calcarea phos 200, 5 drops , once in aweek , morning empty stomach for 2 weeks. 3. Take eggs, milk, butter, bananas, potatoes, mangoes, figs, oats, soyabean and dry fruits. 4. do light exercises regularly to keep your body active. These homoeopathic medicines and dietary addition will increase your appetite and give your metabolism a healthy boost.

Hi, I want to know that how I can recognise that I am into depression because most of the time I feel under confident, and short breathing, not able to make any decisions for my life and I am totally lost in to my thoughts.

Hi, I want to know that how I can recognise that I am into depression because most of the time I feel under confident...
The word depressed is a common everyday word. People might say "I'm depressed" when in fact they mean "I'm fed up because I've had a row, or failed an exam, or lost my job", etc. These ups and downs of life are common and normal. Most people recover quite quickly. With true depression, you have a low mood and other symptoms each day for at least two weeks Core (key) symptoms:- 1. Persistent sadness or low mood. This may be with or without weepiness. 2. Marked loss of interest or pleasure in activities, even for activities that you normally enjoy. Other common symptoms:- Disturbed sleep compared with your usual pattern. This may be difficulty in getting off to sleep, or waking early and being unable to get back to sleep. Sometimes it is sleeping too much. Change in appetite. This is often a poor appetite and weight loss. Sometimes the reverse happens with comfort eating and weight gain. Tiredness (fatigue) or loss of energy. Agitation or slowing of movements. Poor concentration or indecisiveness. For example, you may find it difficult to read, work, etc. Even simple tasks can seem difficult. Feelings of worthlessness, or excessive or inappropriate guilt. Recurrent thoughts of death. This is not usually a fear of death, more a preoccupation with death and dying. For some people despairing thoughts such as "life's not worth living" or "I don't care if I don't wake up" are common. Sometimes these thoughts progress into thoughts and even plans for suicide

Summer causes evaporation of water from body so take loads of liquid with a balance of salt and sugar. This will not only give you energy but also keep your eye lubricated. You can eash your eyes (after closing from above) with drinking cold water 2-3 times a day. Wear sunglasses when you go out to decrease the exposure. In addition tou can also use some lubricating eye drops. If still no relief then consult.

Hello, according to ayurveda weight gain depends upon factors like proper digestion, sound sleep, and mental relaxation. Try these modifications for weight gain- a) avoid fast food and spicy diet. B) avoid late night sessions. C) wakeup early before 6: 30 and perform yogasana like pawan muktasana and slight running schedule. D) increase sweets and dairy products in your diet. E) try to sleep at least eight hours a day.

Hi lybrate-user WEIGHT GAIN It is not a good idea to eat mega-meals at fast food joints or high- in- fat foods to gain weight. An effort like this will increase your body fat, putting you at risk for health problems. Rather work on improving the quality of your diet. Focus on eating healthy, growing strong and staying fit. Try eating six small healthy meals per day. Include 2 to 3 servings of fruits and vegetables in the day. Drink juice and smoothies made with milk and fresh fruit. Snack on dried fruit and nuts and high-fiber savories. If you are an exerciser, eat before and after workouts, and keep yourself hydrated. Here are some ideas: •Use whole fat dairy products such as whole milk, regular cheese and yogurt, cottage cheese. •Modify Cooking: Experiment by adding almonds to salads, cashews to a trail mix, or granola to yogurt. •Use "Extras" Try mixing in Ovaltine or almonds with a glass of milk. Add dried fruit or granola to yogurt. Mix in nuts, such as cashews or almonds to salads, trail mixes or cottage cheese. •Increase portion size gradually: Slowly try to increase the overall volume of the food at each meal, starting with one meal. For example, try adding one food item to a typical breakfast such as - add some fruit to cereal and milk. Then try increasing the amount of cereal. Once portions have increased over a few days at breakfast, add more to dinner or lunch. •Small meals of nutrient dense foods which you enjoy – this optimizes the smaller stomach capacity and provides structure. •Liquid supplements taken with or between meals – milk with complain, fruit milkshake… this is especially imp when it is necessary to overcome the lack of interest in food and eating. •Get adequate exercise and sleep/ rest How much weight can I target to increase? Usually 1-2 pounds per week is a safe and healthy weight gain goal. Most people do not gain exactly the same amount of weight per week. As long as the overall trend during the course of several weeks to a month is weight gain, you are moving in the right direction. 1. Make nutrition your mission. Eating a variety of healthy foods, making time for regular meals and snacks. Good nutrition is a key part of growth and development. It's also wise to learn good eating habits now — they'll become second nature, which will help you stay healthy and fit without even thinking about it. Eating on a schedule can help 2. Keep on moving (unless you are weak). Another way to keep your body healthy is to incorporate exercise into your routine. You might choose to work out at a gym. A good rule of thumb for exercise: Try to get 30 minutes of moderate physical activity 3 to 5 days a week. 3. Get enough sleep and rest. Sleep is an important component of normal growth and development. If you get enough, you'll have the energy to fuel your growth. Your body is at work while it sleeps — oxygen moves to the brain, growth hormones are released, and your bones keep on developing, even while you're resting.

When the pain gets relieved by a belch, it indicates air lock in the stomach. Ensure that you are not belching willingly in an attempt to get relief from pain because the same act of belching draws some air in to stomach and becomes cause of pain. This is called Aerophagy. If that is the case, please resist the act of belching. Eat high fiber diet. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid high fat fried food.

I am 24 years old and I am suffering from hair loss. Tell me some precautions regards this. What should I do? And wha...
Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Beside this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin Folli Hair once daily for 1 month.
