Not to take spicy food, take banana soup not shake. For soup take fully ripen banana, cut in pieces and boil in a glass of water, only one boil, filtere it and drink 1/2 cup every 4 hr.

Hi, you have to exclude all fried foods and sweets from your diet. Eat good amount of fruits and vegetables daily. Increase your physical activity in form of brisk walking or some kind of exercises. Take small and frequent meals. Tell me your eating habits, so that I can suggest you some tips for weight or fat reduction.

Hi - incorporate more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains into your diet while eliminating unhealthy foods. - if you are working or studying away from home, try to pack healthy lunch and snacks for yourself to avoid eating unhealthy food daily. - don't eat straight from the packet - use a plate or bowl to control how much you eat. - don't delay or skip meals. - cut down your consumption of aerated drinks and sodas. - drink at least 8 glasses of water every day. Drink water after waking up and before sleeping. Being dehydrated may make you feel like you're hungry, so it is important to stay hydrated. - have homemade fruit and vegetable juices - eat 5-6 small healthy meals every 2-3 hours, every day, instead of having a few big ones. This regulates your blood sugar level and your metabolism. - don't skip breakfast, instead, make it rich with complex carbohydrates and proteins, so it can provide you with energy to get through the day. Try to include the following as your morning breakfast, oats porridge, eggs on multigrain toast or daliya with sprouts. - avoid artificial sweeteners in processed foods. - eat slowly as it takes about 20 minutes for your brain to register if you're full or not. First you should follow low calories food for weight loss. * in morning, take 1-2 chapattis with a bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of lemon water with it *in lunch you can take a bowl of raw vegetables like carrot, radish, tomatoes, turnip or beetroot. *in evening, you can take a cup of green tea only with some pieces of friuts like apple, pineapple, pear. Avoid taking banana or mango. *in dinner, you can take vegetable soup or a bowl of cooked vegetables. But do not take potato, sweet potatoes. * you can take a cup skimmed milk 4 times a week only during day time. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. Follow these exercises in the morning - * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories and the calories deposit in body in the form of weight if not utilised. * you can take medohar guggalu 1 tablet daily for quick weight loss but only under the guidance of ayurveda expert.

Mr. Lybrate-user, a person with diabetes should avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, sweetened aerated drinks, fructose corn syrup containing products, high fat milk products, highly processed foods. Avoid mango, banana, grapes and chikkoo. Should consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and permitted fruits (100 g a day). Use whole grain products and whole grain flour for chapati and roti. (no maida). Refrain from from alcohol and smoking. Diet should provide exact calories based on ideal body weight, extent of daily exercise and blood sugar levels.

Please state your Sugar Test results clearly so that you can get proper advice from doc here. Fasting sugar. PP .HbA1c. Medicine you are taking Ideally your sugar level should be 70-99 on fasting. So 66 is below normal which is not good. It can mean medicine dosage is high OR your food intake is not regulated. Please give all details so that you can get correct advice. Your weight is controlled by 4 major factors (1) refined sugar consumption (2) exercise and hydration (3) posture and sitting (4) how many times do you indulge yourself - alcohol, binge eating at parties, overeating etc. Step 01: refined sugar 1. Avoid all snacks and commercial products with sugar in them - biscuits, cakes, bournvita, horlicks, coke, pepsi, energy drinks, sweetened yogurt etc. 2. Cut down on your daily intake of tea/coffee and maintain it at 3-4 cups a day. 3. Try to add little sugar to any beverage (coffee, tea, milk, lemon water etc.) that you have and ideally you should refrain from adding any sugar altogether. Step 02: get exercise and proper hydration 1. Try to work out for 20 minutes each day. You do not necessarily have to go to the gym. You can incorporate some pretty powerful exercises in your daily routine like - squats, skipping, surya namaskar and core exercises. 2. Drink 8-10 glasses of water everyday but remember that tea/coffee are not substitutes for pure water. Step 03: improve posture and sitting habits if you have a sitting job then ensure that you do not sit for more than 30 minutes at one stretch. Get up and move a little after every 30 minutes. Step 04: stop indulging and eat more of raw natural stuff 1. No more than 60 ml of hard liqour or 2 glasses of beer per day. 2. If you want to gain your muscle mass then go for gym. Have a high protein diet including eggs, meat, milk & milk products, nuts, pulses, sprouts, soya products etc. In sufficient amount everyday.
