The above mentioned medications do not interact with your eye drop and can safely be taken together. THIS IS ASSUMING, that both set of medications are being taken under and as per advice of a qualified professional. That said, I see your past history mentions Glaucoma. I would like to mention as my responsibility that among antidepressants, Fluoxetine is not the ideal choice in people with Glaucoma and has been known to increase eye pressure. You may discuss the same with your psychiatrist or consult online with me. Take Care.

I am suffering from stress from last month and I also fell very tired. Please advise.
If the stress if from a known factor or life issue, you must deal with it upfront and it will pass over. Stress is not a disorder but a normal human response to tough situations. It may tire ypu out but usually passes over on its own. Moderate physical exercise, Ensuring 8 hours of sleep a day, and a disciplined routine will help you. If the stress is not due a factor you can pinpoint easily or is without a reason, then we need to discuss in detail and make a diagnosis. All the best.

Can I give PRESTILIVE-DS suspension to my 3 years old baby as he is not eating anything and if I force him he starts potty.

Can I give PRESTILIVE-DS suspension to my 3 years old baby as he is not eating anything and if I force him he starts ...
NO. Its not only irresponsible but actually negligent to give a child medications without finding out causes for his/her problems. Children have only two ways to express discomfort- crying or not eating. Its a sign of something that needs attention. Please see a local Pediatrician/Child Specialist in person.

After completion of eating (food), we should not drink water. Not water but juice-like liquid taking. Please suggest.

This is an absurd idea that has become popular due to irresponsible statements by people including some professionals. You should drink as much water as you feel the thirst for. Water can be had with anything and not taking adequate water when thirsty is dangerous.

Dear lybrate-user Codeine classifies as an Opioid and can have severe withdrawal symtoms on stopping as body gets addicted to codeine. Codeine Addiction is as serious as the more well known heroin or brown sugar and destroys many lives. It if extremely difficult to quit without deaddiction help. With proper medications your withdrawal symtoms can be reduced by 90% thus giving your body time to readjust. Medications you mention will not help with Codeine withdrawal. You need to see an Addiction Specialist or consult me via Lybrate.

Dear lybrate-user I am assuming you were prescribed Inspiral (methylphenidate) for ADHD. This medication will not cause long term changes to your brain, rather will help you increase productivity on a daily basis i.e. Each day you take them your work efficiency and quality of life will be better. Over time this may help you have a better life amd increase your cnofidence. If you miss a dose your day could be worse than what ot was earlier due to rebound effects.

Hi, Me & my husband have been in long distance relationship for 10 years. Initially I rarely met him so couldn't understand his nature properly. Now we are married for 3 years and we are a happy couple. But my husband has severe anger outbursts out of nowhere, for minor disagreement ,his reaction seems way out of proportion. In general he's a severely less speaking individual. He only talks about anything with me this during a disagreement he feels like no place to go & burst out violently, he even have hit me at 6-7 times & along with it talks about ending his life. I don't know what to do, I feel sorry for him as he feels severe guilt following these episodes. His anger, frustration his burning him, along with it I'm becoming his target & blame for his bad feeling. What should I do? Also he on daily basis complains multiple times of weakness, lethargy & pains, All this is making my life hell. Please help.

Dear Lybarte User, You need to convince your husband to consult with a psychiatrist. The above could indicate multiple thinks but I cannot comment further before I have more detailed info. It could indicate some stressful issue that the person is keeping to himself or onset of a mood related disorder. Consult me online or see a local psychiatrist for the issues to get clarity. Wish you the best.

Hello, Does smoking cigarettes lead to skin cancer or any other effects to our organ? What is the disadvantage chewing tobacco and gutkha products? Are those products hygiene or manufactured cleanly in the factory?

Hello, Does smoking cigarettes lead to skin cancer or any other effects to our organ? What is the disadvantage chewin...
Dear lybrate-user Smoking is harmful and while direct effect is on the lungs (breathlessness, cough), over time it effects almost all organs of the body including the heart. It causes not only lung cancer but cancers of other organs as well. Guthka is also very harmful and is most common cause of Oral Caner (Cancer of the Mouth) and Laryngeal Cancer (Cancer of the Voice Box) - which entails a very painful existence for the patient. How cleanly they are manufactured is not important because even if they were produced in a world class factory they would still be equally capable of causing cancer and health issues. I would strongly recommend you quit. Today, multiple medications are available to help people quit smoking and tobacco with minimal craving symptoms. Feel free to connect with me for a 'Quit Smoking Consultation',whenever you are ready.

Hello lybrate-user I am glad to see you are working to keep yourself fit. Possible reasons for your raised sgpt could be some other medications you maybe taking? Or possibly some infectious cause. There are some other tests you must get done for us to establish the cause for raised sgpt. You may consult me online OR see a local doctor as per your preference. Meanwhile another thing I would suggest is try getting retested again - SGPT and SGOT, then setup an appointment with me. Please do not worry as SGPT of 60 even though high, is not too high. Once we identify a cause, you will be helped.
