Dear excessive weight gain occurs only when calories intake are more than calories burnt, It can put a person at risk of thyroid disease, diabetes , kidney problems, arthritis etc... Dear to decrease weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach daily. 3. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 4. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 5. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 5 min per asana. 6. Do brisk walk early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 7. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 8. Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice. 9. Drink three litres of water daily

The oily face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face.. Precautions- * Don't scratch or pinch your pimples This will cause more damage and scars. . * Avoid fried and oily foods. * Prefer fruits and green vegetables. * When you apply any cream, sun screen and the like, clean your face at the earliest, so that there will be no adverse action of the chemicals on the delicate skin of face. Your skin ‘breaths’ through its pores which are not to be closed for long. .We have good treatment in Homoeopathy without causing adverse effects. The medicines work internally, tackle the root of the problem unlike face wash which is a surface treatment..

My 5-year old daughter has asthma. What is effect of asthma preventer long-term? I heard that using it for years might cause bone shrinkage. Is it true? Are there any vitamins or supplements to help vision.

If steroids are given orally for long periods of time than only it will cause bone shrinkage but if given through nebulisation than it won't have any side effects

I feel very empty and depressed and directionless!just dont know what is right or wrong ,i just dnt want to wake up or do anything and i always have a sickening feeling inside like i am gross and i sick

You are certainly depressed and it is probably from being very angry. If you think that you cannot do anything with the anger (which incidentally is not true, but you believe so), then you will tend to turn the anger inwards toward yourself and blame yourself, and start to beat yourself black and blue. Anger, being energy, and when turned around will stifle your natural energy to make you feel lethargic and listless. Can you identify with the anger? If so, express it to someone, preferably to a counselor. Once this anger comes out, it will seem like a heavy weight has been lifted off of your back and your mood will return to normal. In the meantime, follow some simple guidelines: don?t sleep late or during daytime hours, exercise vigorously every day, eat proper food, go out and socialize, expose yourself in the sunlight for at least 30 minutes every day, be active and constructive, and if you?re spiritual, do spend time in some prayer too.

You might have varicocele. For varicocele cdvl tech gives best results. Even minor varicocele can lead to poor sperm quality. You can consult me.

Dear user with the information provided it appears that you are suffering from viral upper respiratory infection. It is advisable if you can start doing gargles with luke warm water on a regular basis at least twice daily till your problem resolves. For the relief of your pain you can take tab paracetamol 500 mg twice or thrice daily. Hope this solves your query.

You are doing mistake in stress level. Because of stress you are taking excessive food. Due to that your weight may increase. Hye, Thanks for the query. You cannot work on a specific body part. You have to work on overall fat loss and toning. Try to eat small but frequent meals. Avoid long gaps in between meals. Avoid junk as far as possible. Exercise at least 4 times a week. Include exercises that tone your back, shoulders, chest and abdominal muscles too. Lastly be committed. Remember it's a lifestyle change and not a one time thing. It's a balanced intake that will last you longer. All the so called diets and singular exercises or machines will not give you targeted results. The fats will remain as it is. It's all about overall work out and balanced diet.
