To gain weight, eat food with extremely high caloric value. Try to increase your food intake without consuming too much fat and sugar. Regular meals, especially breakfast are important if you find it difficult to gain weight. Eat late - having snacks at bedtime may help to gain weight. Relax after having meal. Eat frequently- eat five or more meals a day. Do regular exercise. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day.

Take high fiber nd protein diet .avoid sugar , dessert,rice ,juice,.before workout take black coffee without sugar and after workout take egg white boiled.take milk nd milk products.take paneer,soya milk,egg white,sprouts,peanut butter,brown bread,brown rice.have small and frequent meals.

Dear lybrate user, pcod (polycystic ovarian disease) is a disese of hormonal imbalance. Due to imbalanace in the ladies hormones you get small multiple nodules in the ovaries which is the main cause of infertility. It is genrally shown in fatty ladies. Due to excessive fat your digestive system and blood purify sysytem leads to hormonal imbalance. For that. Avoid fast food, junk food, oily food, soicy food, rice, potato, etc heavy food. Take easily digestible food like green leafy vegetables etc. Drink at least 3 litres of water in a day. Regular do yogasana /pranayama / deep breathing exercise etc to reduce stress and anger. This is the most necessary in this case. You must try to manage stress and anger. 100 steps walking immidiately after meal. Take dinner 2 hours before sleeping time. Take enough sleep. Regular walking for an hour 5 days in a week. You must try your best to reduce your weight. Take. Breakfast = 7 am to 8 am lunch = 12 noon to 1 pm dinner = 8 pm to 9 pm. Pcod is a such life style disease. Now a days obesity and stress increase the numbers of patients of this disease. So it is necessary for you follow above all instructions.

I am 52 Kg and 5'5 feet tall. I have to eat well and can't skip any meal to keep up this weight. If I do not eat well and stay unhappy for 10 days. I lose at least a Kg. I am mostly stressed. I wanna gain weight and want to retain my weight. What must be done than worrying about eating more often.

As you said, be happy and eat well you will be healthy. Don't try to avoid eating food which will make you lean and don't be in a suspicion that eating will make you fat. Your height and weight are in sync and you BMI is also normal hence eat well, stay happy and be healthy :)

Hello, according to ayurveda weight gain not only depends upon heavy diet but also on other factors like proper digestion, sound sleep, and mental relaxation. Try these modifications for weight gain- a) avoid fast food and spicy diet. B) avoid late night sessions. C) wakeup early before 6: 30 and perform yogasana like pawan muktasana and slight running schedule. D) increase sweets and dairy products in your diet. E) try to sleep at least eight hours a day.
