For the past 2 months I feel tired, headache, back pain, sore throat, eyes and nose irritation, eyes tired when I wake up even after 8+ hrs of sleep. I snore. I eat twice a day. No lunch just snack. Have acid reflux, liver pain (@ times) and post nasal drip. My blood tests (lft, CBC, lipid,vit b12, sugar,)r normal except a little high cholesterol, fatty liver (not yet cirrhosis) & abs. eosinophil count of 680. I am unable to get up and exercise. Feel headache, feverish and tired after having breakfast. Gets a little better as day progresses. My BM is sometimes loose and very dark and at times constipated. My appetite is normal and no vomiting/nausea. Please help.

Dear, At present you may take soaked harde at night in a glass of water thrice a day. Avoid heavy oily spicy food. Also take pappaya for constipation. For sore throat You will need… -2 oz. Bourbon or whiskey (optional, not recommended) -1 tablespoon of honey, or more to taste -4 ounces hot water -1 teaspoon lemon juice -1 slice fresh lemon (optional) Take it for three days.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

If you hv no injury no strain that pain due to over stress of muscle or bad posture so keep in mind give the rest and tk heat formation twice a day muscle relaxant medicine also in sos form apply pain relief gel around area after 3 days start gentle movement or exercise.

I have met with an accident and sprained my left ankle very badly, there is no fracture or other damage to the ankle same confirmed by xray and mri scan. It's 4th week now still ankle movement is not free. I am applying only heat pack and rest (avoiding walking). Need to do anything else. No cast is put.

1. Apply ice pack if there is swelling 2.Apply volini gel twice daily 3.Apply crepe bandage 4. Take crocin pain relief, one tablet as and when required after food up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily 5.Take rest 6.If no relief consult for advice and treatment.

Hi go for breathing exercise 3time in aday. Avoid dust partical. Use mask when you go out side. Avoide smokeable things. Consult me after 4days.

Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Knee pain- reasons can be-* cold weather *sitting in inconvenient posture constantly, without changing your position or without movement, *wearing ill fitting sandals, *lack of exercise or *internal disorder like arthritis. Point to observe- * if you have difficulty in climbing stairs, take lift while going upstairs. If there is no lift, go up slowly. * if it is due to strain of games or injury, take rest. * if it is due to obesity, reduce weight. * if it is due to constant sitting at a particular posture, change posture and engage in slow walk. * walking regularly at slow pace without unduly straining helps as it improves blood circulation around knee and eases the joint. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take bryonia 200---twice daily morning and evening and give feedback after 7 days

Hi Doctors, I have L5-S1 pinched nerve in spine since 6 month's. I understand pinched nerve is causing back ache, sometimes leg pain, numbness and all. But since 6 months my testicles are also paining, to examine I gone under abdominal and scrotum (testis) scanning, report showed neither kidney stones nor hydrocele. Hii lybrate-user. The testicular pain might also be related to disc compressing l1 root, the scrotal skin has dermatome l1, but also consult a surgeon for a detailed testicular examination and abdominal examination. Mri lumbosacral spine with screening of whole spine will reveal a disc compressing l1 root.

Apply prasarini oil or pranacharya restopain oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation twice a day. Take mahayograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Fermented food. Spicy food. Rice. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Do pranayama early morning. Sleep for atleast 7 hrs per day.

Hello, you may be having headache because of stress/ refractory problems/ any ENT problem or may be Migraine Headache kindly follow advises given below: you can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) 2. Adequate sleep 6-8 hr in a day 3. Get check eyes for refractive error 4. We need to go for ENT evaluation to rule out sinusitis 5. Get BP checked 6. Regular physical exercise and meditation and yoga complete history of your headache for further management like duration, severity, aggravating factors/relieving/ triggering/ associated factor to reach diagnosis consult physician for further management.

1. Go for fasting once a week. You can go for absolute fasting or rely on a liquid diet to digest ama (toxin). Fasting should be followed by hot fomentation or by taking a bath with lukewarm water or steam bath. 2. After fasting and fomentation, mix powdered long pepper, black pepper and dried ginger in equal quantities and take 1 teaspoon of this powdered mix with lukewarm water twice a day. This will help you restore your digestive fire. 3. Take one tablespoon of castor oil before going to bed, once or twice a week. It helps in cleansing ama (toxin) build up and balancing vata. 4. Mix equal quantities of powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and ginger powder. Take one teaspoon daily in the morning and evening. 5. For dry fomentation of the affected joints, take a cloth and fold it into four, fill it with hot and sand make a potli (bag) out of it. Use this bundle for the fomentation of different joints. This is very helpful in reducing pain and swelling.

You can apply warm sesame oil on both the knees twice a day. And if there is swelling as well then just apply ice pack. Do not walk a lot or stress your knees a lot. If the pain still continues, then can start with ayurveda treatment as it will heal you naturally.

Acute onset severe back pain in young adults is commonly due to muscle strain. 1.In severe recent onset back pain you need to take anti inflammatory drugs like Ibuprofen round the clock for 5 days. This will decrease pain and inflammation. 2.Take rest for 3 days but avoid total bed rest. 3. Avoid forward bending and lifting weights. 4. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 5. Start back stretching and core strengthening exercises once pain is decreased. 6. Follow proper ergonomics in daily activities like studying or computer work. 7.If back pain is accompanied with radiating leg pain or tingling or numbness in legs consult immediately.

37 year old male. Have knee pain while climbing steps since many years. Also have lumbar back pain once a week. Could there be problem with knee/back.

Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Dear lybrate user apply hot fomentation do knee isometrics- lie down & keep towel roll under your knee & press it, hold for 3 sec then relax, 10 times each knee, twice daily do slr- lie down & lift your leg straight up, upto 30-45 degrees, hold for 3 sec then relax, 10 times each leg, twice daily sitting on the chair or edge of bed with your back straight move your leg up without lifting thigh, your leg will become parallel to floor, hold for 3 sec then relax, 10 times each leg twice daily avoid floor sitting/crossed leg sitting/squatting avoid long standing or walking long distances use commode for toilet purpose stair climbing should be minimal.
