I am sadhiya. A mother of 2 kids. I am 28 years old. I want to reduce weight. As I am 66 kgs. I go gym regularly, but just from 3 months have started and I have reduced just 2 kgs. I equally eat very less as compared to before. Only chapatis. Vegetable, oats, wheat bread with tea or coffee, that too without sugar. I am just getting frustrated, doing so much and just reduced 2 kgs in 3 months of work out and diet. I want to be 58 kgs. As I was only 55 during my college days. My height is 5.3. Kindly let me know, why am I not reducing more, as others target 1 kg a week and are successful. Then why not me. Kindly answer. I generally do cardio exercises.

My age is 25. I have gone through a diet chart recently which have daily in morning, White rice in afternoon with any vegetable or non veg except potato. At dinner I have taken 4 roti and Dal. I have lost 4 kg in one month but the belly fat is still the same. My arm has reduced due to the dieting. I have completely avoid sugar, ice cream, cold water. I want to loose belly fat. Please suggest a good diet plan of bengali origin. And I cook for myself so I have very little time to cook. I have bought a tummy trimmer recently but I don't know if it can make it or not. Please suggest a good exercise to do in my busy schedule.

How I can leave smoking. Please recommend some tips because I want to leave it but I can't.

MBBS, MA - Counselling Psychology, MPhil - Child & Adolescent Psychology
General Physician, Noida
Mental preparation is needed Will power should be strong to resist temptation Avoid triggers and situations (boredom, friends, stress) Which remind you to smoke Instead have other coping strategies (eating and drinking healthy, taking to friend, going for walk etc) You can’t gradually decrease it It has to be stopped.
