Dear sir, My father is a diabetic patient and last year he had gone through bypass heart surgery. Is there any way so that we can know before any further blocking occurs. And also please suggest how to remove blockage permanently using Allopathy or ayurvedic medicine or if by some natural methods or process. What is the cure for this blockage.

Hello, Thanks for the query. A person with diabetes is more likely to get coronary artery blockage, because dyslipidemia is more common in diabetes. So it is very essential to keep blood glucose in strict control, with fasting glucose < 100 mg, PP around 160 to 170 mg & HbA1c% <7. Plus person has to take a balanced healthy diet. Also do necessary exercise as advised. There is also the need for taking medications to control lipid levels. In other words, the person has to follow a very disciplined life. Refrain from smoking and alcohol. There is no permanent CURE for these conditions. Patient has to learn to live with those. Thanks.

CENTRAL OBESITY AND HEAVY ALCOHOL INTAKE.

Central obesity and heavy alcohol intake can lead to heart rhythm abnormality/ atrial fibrilation. It can cause clot formation in heart, which when discharged from heart can block a brain vessel leading to paralysis.

Prevention is better than a life long disability.Avoid central obesity and heavy alcohol intake.

Dear lybrateuser, -Your pain in the left side could be due to the the same gynecomastia problem occurring on the left side -if pain is more then take a tablet of paracetamol after meals with water -observe it for a week or so if still no improvement then consult a doctor.

Why hypertension and diabetes are not permanently curable. When we have lot many doctors in this world, why we cannot prepared the medicine for this, is that a curse for humankind coz I have seen many people who are suffering with these disease.

Mr. Lybrate-user. Diabetes is occurring either due to lack of insulin or resistance to its action, mainly because of being over weight and secondly due inactivity and junk foods. This true incase of t2 dm. In t1 insulin producing beta cells in pancreas are destroyed due antibodies. T1 is an autoimmune disease. These are two main types of diabetes. In both types insulin has to be provided (t1 by injections of insulin) in t2 stimulating insulin secretion. Since this hormone is required every single moment in our body, there is no way of curing the condition. It can only be controlled. Similarly in high bp also there are multiple triggers involved, each can not exactly identified and removed. So cure is not possible. Here too over weight, obesity, inactivity, high fat, excess salt plus various other triggers are active, and the process continues for lifetime, hence only control is possible. Similarly there a host of diseases where ther is no cure available in spite of great advances in medicine. I understand your concern, but that is the fact. May some time later science will be able to find a cure for all diseases, let us hope. Thanks.

You may need psychotherapy and medicines for longer period. Start doing exercise and morning walk 30--45 minutes daily. Also yoga pranayam and meditation will help. For more scientific suggestions feel free to ask with details.
