1.Thera-Band Shoulder Scapular Retraction- Grasp the band between your hands with slight tension. Keep our elbows bent 90° and pinch your shoulder blades together. Hold & slowly return. 2. Thera-Band Shoulder Shrug- Stand on the middle of the band and grasp both ends by your side, taking up the slack. Keep your elbows straight and lift your shoulders upward. Hold and slowly return. TIP: Avoid bending your elbows to complete the motion.

When I am in sleep I get scams in my leg. What my be the possible reason for this and any suggestions for this problem.

Standing calf stretch stand away from a wall and put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day.

I have pain in my legs, it starts from below the knee on the back side and continues till my ankle and further up to the toe, I also find it difficult to sleep at night because of the pain, can you explain me the reason behind this pain?

It can be a muscular pull if you are having to walk/stand too long at a stretch then this could come up. Do massage with warm mustard oil daily to relieve pain. Also take mag phos 6x - twice daily for next 7 days and get back to me for proper treatment.

Sir my age is 21 age boy mere hath kapte hai jab bhi me sthhir bhetata hu to aapne aap hathhme vibration hota hai. Gusse me to jada kapte hai. Me kisibhi tarah ka nsha nhi krata sirff chay pita hu. Fir bhi yesa kyu hota hai? agar khanne sambhandit suzav ho to bhi btayiye.

Hello, this may be because of weakness of nerves and general weakness. Take alfalfa tonic, 2 tsp, thrice daily before meals. Kali phos 6x, 5 tabs twice daily. Drink plenty of water at short gaps. Revert after 15 days. Thanks.

I have left leg knee pain. What is the remedies of that. How I can control the pain.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your knee pain could be due to certain reasons but common ones are chondromalacia, pain due to knee instability, inflammation etc. If there is no history of any injury, and no s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness or local warmth on touching, then I will like to advise you for conservative management initially in form of: - intensive physical therapy with focus on strengthening of quadriceps and stretching of other group of muscles - gentle anti inflammatory medications like tab etoshine or tab paracetamol can be taken in small doses for 5-7 days - adequate calcium and vitamin d supplementation as per requirement - ice packs at home for 3-4 times in a day and see how it goes for around 2 weeks time. If your condition does not improve, then we will have to get certain investigations done. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

My wife (33 yrs) is suffering from body pain including back since from 2 weeks. Completed blood tests for viral fevers and c. P. K done. Its negative. Since 10 days cal360 and rivotril tablets are taken but no improvement.

In the absence of any orthopaedic problem, body pain and other physical complaints can be part of depression. What are her other complaints? if the reasons are psychological she may feel better with amitryptiline 10mg or pregabalin. Consult your local doctor.

I am suffering with severe pain in my left arm below shoulder near elbow. Getting intenser.

Thank you user for your query In your case I would like to advice that take any nsaid for pain relief and also start taking vitamin D3 twice a week. You can also do hot fermentation to relieve your pain. Avoid lifting heavy weight from the painful hand. As it might aggravate the pain. Kindly check if there is any swelling in your hand. There may be possibility that you must have hurt your hand while doing some work or liftin weight in case if you have joined gym or muscle sprain. Don't worry it will be fine in few days. Just stick to the treatment. God bless.

I'm a software engineer. So I need to spend more times on my system. By this, I got pain in back bone. I used to do some simple exercise, but that was not helpful.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

I am 38 years female having severe pain on back side of my shoulders and down up to rib cage I cannot move my arms freely as it hurts I cannot lie on my back or both side of arms as it hurts so I cannot sleep properly. Hello, Epidural steroid injections (ESIs) are a common treatment option for many forms of low back pain and leg pain. They are an integral part of the non-surgical management of sciatica and low back pain. The goal of the injection is pain relief; at times the injection alone is sufficient to provide relief, but commonly an epidural steroid injection is used in combination . The effects of an epidural steroid injection tend to be temporary lasting from a week to up to a year. Take care.

Hello according to your condition you have to take hot water fermentation through towel and do it 3 times in a day duration-15 min along with stretching and back exercises like straingh leg raising, bridging with -20 min repetition -5 sec hold do it for 3 days sure you will get well soon take care.

Dear lybrate-user warm greetings, weight loss with appropriate diet and regular exercises should take care of your problems. It seems like a strech pain of your fatty liver radiating to the area mentioned. For controlling uric acid - switching over to vegetarian diet, avoid bakery products, pulses and high protein content foods shall be regulated heavily. Avoid tomatoes, cabbage, carrot. More on fruits and plenty of water also helps in reduction of uric acid. Abstinence from alcohol and smoking is a must.
