Dear Mr. lybrate-user, recurrent tonsillitis may be due to infection within tonsils for which you have to undergo tonsillectomy but in my experience I found it is mostly because of acidity. You may not be taking food on time and eating junk food try taking tab Pan d twice a day empty stomach Syp mucain gel two teaspoon twice a day for fifteen days and see.

We consulted the ENT Specialist & took CT PNS scan. The result is Abnormal soft tissue density mucosal thickening (L>R) is noted involving bilateral maxillary antrum with minimal osteomeatal unit block made out on left side. Partial pneumatisation of right middle turbinate is seen. Left sphenoid sinus shows minimal soft tissue density irregularity. Nasal septum is in the midline. No bony destruction or sclerosis detected. Underlying soft tissues appear normal. The nasal cavity, pharynx and imaged parapharyngeal structures show no abnormalities. First of all you should get a ct scan done to know the extent of disease. Surgery (fess i. E functional endoscopic sinus surgery) is treatment of choice for nasal polyps.

My sister, 5 years of age is facing severe ache in the ear following cold & associated cough. What medication should she take to get relief temporarily?
she may be having it it is external it it is interact does any discharge comes out of the ear. in that case she might be having CSOM chronic supurative otitis media may cause perforation of the tympanic membrane. give some antibiotic ear drop to the ears.like ciplox ear drop. Make sure water does not go or enter into the best thereby causing further infections. best thing to consult a ENT specialist.

I am 20 years old. My either side of nose remains blocked 24 hour. I am suffering from this condition for the last 1 year. I was prescribed medicines by PMCH. Medicines side effects resulted in frequent loose motion. So I have stopped taking that medicines. Now, sometimes I feel acute chest pain. Is this pain is due to angina pectoris. Kindly suggest me what should I do now. Thanks.
