Hi, Take tab. R-Compound 1 tab 3 times a day and Balarista 2 tsf 3 times a day diluted with equal quantity of water. Apply Pinda Taila to the affected joints and massage in circular motion for 10-15 mins and the give hot water fomentation.

The best thing for you would be to drink lots of water. Atleast 4-5 litres a day! you may be having referred back pain cos of the kidney stones. Should go away with the stone removal.

Requires detailed investigation and examination. Preliminary investigations suggested: hb, tlc, dlc, esr, blood sugar fasting & pp, uric acid vit d urine r/e x-ray of the affected part. Anyway it may be tried sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back, knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Do not ignore it. Let it not become beginning of a bigger problem. Make sure that patient is not allergic to any of the medicines that he/she is going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform.

I have mild backaches for the past 2 months which I feel is due to the cold weather and me sitting in one position most of the time. When I take a steam bath, it goes off partially. What do you suggest since it is not a major issue. I am only around 30-32 years of age and also do cycling some times in the morning.

Hello, looks like you have paraspinal muscle spasm mostly due to prolong sitting in one position start back strengthing exercises and muscle relaxant medications you will feel much better.

It appears that you are overweight. Take steps by doing regular exercises, gong for a brisk walk. Pl ask somebody to massage your spinal column from neck down upto sacral bone using both hands ie both thumbs on one side other fingers on other side do only from neck and not from sacral to the neck. Yo can also use a wodden roller purchased from a accupressure items shop. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Also take calcium tablets for a limited period 2 months consult after 10 days.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.
