My treatment to become painfree. - hot warm saline rinses - ‎application of DOLOGEL CT / any other gum paint - ‎any pain killer and anti inflammatory drug like VOVARAN SR/ ULTRACET/ DOLONEX RAPID/ DOLONEX DT / KETOROLOL DT etc but only after consulting any doctor. - ‎removal of some part of gums which is getting impinged (operculectomy) - ‎trimming of some part of upper third molar so that it doesn't impinge tissues. Anyone method or combination of few or all can help you untill you decide for final and best option.. Extraction. Hope I have cleared your doubt on this.

Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations (model study, full mouth & profile x-ray) & clinical examination to decide upon treatment. You may need fixed / removable braces. Requirements may depends on the age, complaint, duration of the treatment & affordability. Cost of cosmetic dentistry (braces) varies with dentist. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Hi, I suffer, a medium, sometimes, severe toothache while chewing food. It is a molar teeth, the big wide one. My dentist suggested me to take an x ray. I took an x ray, she examined and told me that, "actually there are 3 roots of teeth, and one of my root is bent so it is aching, I advise you to go through cleaning. Q1) What is cleaning? What are its side effect? Q2) if one my root is bent why does it only aches while chewing? Q3) whats your opinion? Q$0 What should I do?

Hello m sorry but watever diagnosis your dentist has made is not clear. Firstly a bent root doesn't cause that much pain. Yes if it's your wisdom tooth (last molar tooth) then it might cause medium to severe pain .wisdom tooth are rarely in normal position and because of their abnormal position they cause pain while eating and while opening and closing mouth. But if it's first or second molar then their might be some decay/ infection in the tooth because of which you are experiencing pain. Also cleaning is not the treatment in your case. So I suggest you take a second opinion. Also take your x-ray along. Regards.

Homoeopathic medicine---------------- echenesia 30 (dr reckeweg) drink 2 drops in 1 spoon fresh water 3 times daily------------------- b. C.-18 (dr reckeweg) chew 4 tabs every 4 hrly ------------------------- hekla lavatooth powder (wheezal) scrub teeth daily night-------------------------- tooth paste in morning with any tooth paste of your choice---------------------------- report after 1 months--------------------- take following precautions for your teeth------------------ 1. Drinks: coffee and red wine cause major damage to teeth. But other drinks with high acidity, such as soda, juices and even sports drinks can cause damage staining on the teeth because of its tannins and acidic nature wear away at the tooth enamel. These acidic drinks lowers the ph of teeth below 6 thus causing corrosive wear and tear of teeths. 2. Certain foods: all sweets, candies, popscicles, damage teeth due to its high sugar content. So avoid them as much as you can and if you eat do not forget to rinse your mouth with water immediately after finishing it--------------------------------------- 3. Every time you take meals or eat something make sure to rinse your mouth with water and with homoeopathic rinseout gargles (sbl) after every meals---------------------------------- 4. Use any brand paste for brushing teeth in morning but never forget to scrub teeth with hekla lavatooth powder (wheezal) at night just before sleep.------------------------------------- 5. If possible start a habit of chewing neem stick (datuun) in the morning as it not anly scrubs our teeth but its juice acts as a good antiseptic and antibiotic to destroy the harmful bacterias stuck in out teeth cavities and inbetween teeth.

Only brushing is not enough to maintain oral hygiene. Its mandatory to go for a cleaning treatment of your tooth known as Scaling. Its done only in a Dental Clinic and is recommended to go for the same once in a year along with brushing, flossing and mouthwashing of your teeth and gums on a regular basis. So do visit a Dental clinic. Till then can use Stolin GA (gum astringent) twice daily on your gums by applying it for 2 minutes and washing off with water. Its effect will be more after Cleaning and polishing.
