It seems probably you spend a long tym on your computer and you hav developed computer vision syndrome. Go to a clinic. Get your refraction done. Orthoptics done. To find any refractive error or muscle weakness. Also try to blink your eyes properly while wrk. Use good tear substitutes. And antiglare screen for yr sysytem.

Hello colour blindness is usually from birth. If it is acquired during life time then it is suggestive of optic nerve disease. Kindly consult local opthalmologist and get proper eye check up done.

Hello, Take Belladonna 30, 3 drops, thrice daily. Use Euphrasia 10 %, eye drop. instill 2 drops in each eye twice daily. Wash his eyes with cold water twice daily. Ask him not to rub his eyes. Revert me after 1 week.

Puffed eye could be sometimes due to thyroid, if this puffiness subside during the the course of day then leave it as it is, if it bothers you can apply little ice packs for 1 to 2 mins it will help you, sometime it is age related as the skin around the eye looses fat and muscle mass leaving a saggy skin.

Hello floaters are due to vitreous (gel in eye) liquifaction there is no treatment for this just avoid seeing them these are entirely normal consult ophthalmologist if these suddenly increase in number this is a provisional diagnosis. Consult your ophthalmologist for detailed examination.

Hello. You could use preservative free eye drops (eg. Genteal eye drops 4 to 5 times daily for a period of 3 months. I have a few suggestions for you regarding the usage of computers, mobile phones and books. Staring at the computer continuously causes us to subconsciously blink less than normal. This causes the tear film on the surface of the eye to dry up. The result of this is pain, discomfort, etc. You are already following the rule of" 20" this means that every 20 minutes, take a gap of 20 seconds, blink your eyes actively 20 times and focus at an object which is minimum 20 feet away. This will help in relieving your eyes from the continuous strain that is caused due to staring. Another suggestions regarding the usage of computers is to maintain a proper posture. The computer must be positioned at the same height as your eye level. The neck should not be inadvertently flexed or extended. Roughly, an angle of 90 degrees should be maintained between your upper body and thighs. Likewise, a similar angle (90 degrees) should be maintained between your lower legs and thighs. Also the angle between your hands and arms should be roughly 90 degrees. This is the healthy ergonomic way of sitting while using a computer. Maintenance of proper posture would help in further relieving the symptoms of eye discomfort and pain. You could consider preservative free lubricant eye drops 4 to 5 times daily. These eye drops would ensure that your eyes stay well lubricated and fresh. All these suggestions may take a while to sink in and imbibe in your routine. take meftal spas if pain abd, tab pan 40 empty stomach daily morning for 15 days, drink 3-4 litre of water daily, isabgol in a glass of water at night, if required get u/s whole abdomen done and back with report it will help. use gentacin-h eye drop 1-2drop 2-3 times a day, it will help. Welcome

This seems most likely to be dry eye. Constant strain on your eyes, coupled with stress maybe causing the headaches. You can start some lubricating eye drops to soothe the eyes. However, a number check up is recommended as well, to ensure it is not any change in spectacle power thats causing these symptoms.

Instructions for computer use: take frequent breaks while you are working every 20-25 mins take break to look away from screen blink more frequently' level of screen should be below the level of eyes ac should not blow directly on your face. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power.

Good eyesight can be an outcome of a diet rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin C. Including certain foods in your diet can be directly beneficial for your eye health and can improve your vision. Here is a list of 5 foods which will help you combat age-related vision problems and will supplement your overall eye health.

1. Eggs - Eggs are rich in vitamin A and lutein, which help you combat age-related vision problems and night blindness. Eggs are also beneficial for dry eyes and improving your eye health. Egg yolks are considered to be one of the best foods for your eyes and should be included in your regular diet. It also helps prevent age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is one of the primary causes of blindness in the 60+ age group.

2. Leafy Greens - Leafy green vegetables like spinach and kale are rich in lutein and zeaxanthin which reduce the chance of cataracts. It is best to consume them raw as they have more antioxidants when uncooked. Other green vegetables like broccoli, collard greens, and zucchini are rich in lutein and play an important part in preventing age-related vision problems.

3. Carrots - Carrots improve your overall eye health as it contains vitamin A, the lack of which is one of the leading causes of loss of vision. The orange hue in carrots is due to Beta-carotene which helps the retina function better. Other foods rich in beta carotene are apricots, mangoes, pumpkin and cantaloupe which also contribute to healthy eyes. So make sure you include them in your diet.

4. Almonds - Almonds are rich in vitamin E, which prevents macular degeneration. Include a handful in your daily diet as it not only improves your eyesight but also effectively lowers cholesterol and prevents heart diseases. Nuts like pistachios and walnuts contain omega 3 fatty acids which contribute to the maintenance of your vision.

5. Citrus Fruits and Berries - Citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruits and lemons are rich vitamin C which reduces the risk macular degeneration and cataracts. Blueberries also aid in the protection of the retina from damage caused due to sunlight and oxygen.

Hello. Yellow eyes of recent onset (few days), could be due to a condition of the liver known as jaundice. In such a case, it would be associated with fever and abdominal pain along with yellowing of the skin of the whole body. It would be a good idea to get a complete body check up by a physician. It might require liver function tests to be done. If the condition that you described has occurred over a span of years, it would be more likely to be due to a condition known as pterygium or pingecuela of the conjunctiva. Pterygium/ pingecuela is characterized by a yellowish small elevated lesion that occurs just adjacent to the cornea. It usually occurs due to excessive exposure to sunlight and environmental dust. It occurs more commonly in people having a lot of field work. It is usually a harmless condition which requires no intervention unless there is excessive redness, burning or pain associated with it. If the symptoms of burning and redness do occur then it would be a good idea to use lubricant eye drops along with an antihistamine eye drops as well. This would be best done under the supervision of an eye specialist after getting the eyes checked up in person. Take care-regards.

Dear lybrate user, red eyes could be because of many reasons but commonly it is due to allergy or infection. You need to visit eye specialist to differentiate between the two as the treatment is different. Also get your eyes checked for any glass power.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 20 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

For computer use: You have something called as computer vision syndrome. Also get your eyes checked for any spectacle power For mobile use: Here are seven super quick and easy ways to give your eyes a break during your all those smartphone marathon sessions. 1. Blink, blink and blink again. Blinking often (and for more than a second) keeps your eyes moist and reduces dryness and irritation. We tend blink about a third less than we normally would when we stare at our smartphone screens, which starves our poor peepers of protective tears. Keep your eyes wet by blinking about 10 times every 20 minutes or so and you should be good to go. 2. Minimize glare. Unless you have a smartphone equipped with anti-glare Corning Gorilla Glass or use a matte screen protector film, you’re probably coping with a fair amount of annoying reflective glare. 3. Take breaks. Follow 20-20-20 rule. The concept is to take a break from looking at your screen every 20 minutes for 20 seconds while looking at something 20 feet away. Doing so relaxes your eye muscles 4. Adjust your brightness. Having your screen too bright or too dark stresses your eyes out and can cause problems maintaining focus. To eliminate either issue in about a matter of seconds, simply go into your smartphone settings and adjust your screen brightness so it’s about the same as the light level in the environment around you 5. Tweak your text size and contrast. Adjusting your smartphone text contrast and size also provides a little much-needed relief. 6. Keep a clean screen. Routinely wipe down your smartphone screen with a dry (not wet!) cleaning cloth to remove distracting dust, grime, smudges and fingerprints. 7. Hold your smartphone farther away. Try holding yours at least 16 to 18 inches away from your eyes to give your eyes a break.
