Lifestyle and diet is the main reason of acidity. If take fast food spicy and oily foods or alcohol or any other addiction then start hyper acidity in stomach. So avoid addiction ,oily foods and take high fibre diet and lots amount of water attach physical exercise also, helpful slogan early to bed early to rise.

Differences Between Diarrhea And Dysentery

General Physician (AM)
Alternative Medicine Specialist, Chandigarh
Differences Between Diarrhea And Dysentery

Diarrhea is a condition that involves the frequent passing of loose or watery stools while dysentery is an intestinal inflammation, especially in the colon, that can lead to severe diarrhea with mucus or blood in the feces.

The major differences between diarrhea and dysentery are as follows:
S. N.
Diarrhea
Dysentery
1.
Diarrhea is presented as watery stool with no blood and mucus. Dysentery is presented as a mucoid stool that may be accompanied by blood.
2.
The patient may or may not be accompanied by cramps or a pain. The patient usually complains of cramps and pain in the lower abdominal area.
3.
Fever is less common in diarrhea. Fever is more common in dysentery.
4.
Diarrhea is a disease that affects the small bowel. Dysentery is a disease that affects the colon.
5.
Diarrheal infection is located and targets only intestinal lumen and upper epithelial cells. Dysentery not only upper epithelial cells are targeted but colon ulceration also results.
6.
There is no cell death in diarrhea and the infection is only caused because of the release of some toxins by the infecting agent. When a person gets dysentery, the upper epithelial cells are attacked and destroyed by the pathogen or disease causing agent.
7.
The antimicrobial that are used to treat diarrhea do not eradicate the toxin left behind. Treatment for dysentery can eradicate the pathogen that is causing the infection and stop the inflammation.
8.
The effects of diarrhea are not that serious, apart from a risk of dehydration. Dysentery can cause a lot of complications, if left untreated.
9.
Diarrhea is mostly viral. E. Coli can also cause watery diarrhea. Dysentery is mostly bacterial. E coli, shigella, and salmonella are the most common causative organisms
10.
Diarrhea does not need antibiotics. Oral rehydration solutions or intravenous fluid therapy may be used. Dysentery almost always requires antibiotic treatment. Intravenous antibiotics may be needed in severely ill children.

Hi, Loose motion/gastritis/ constipation with stomach ache may be related to irritable bowel syndrome, Please follow these advice: 1. Eat healthy food. Avoid junk/ spicy/fried/oily foods. 2. Eat homemade food including more fibres in your diet (plenty of salads, vegetables, seasonal fruits, and complex carbs like Dalia, oats and whole wheat bread etc.). 3. Eat all your meals on time. 4. Take a light and early dinner. 5. Try to keep yourself active. Exercise, do brisk walk, take a break between works and stretch yourself in between. 6. Keep yourself stress free as much as possible, have meditation/ yoga etc, it will help in long term (don't expect short term benefit) 7. Avoid tea/ coffee, it causes gas. Medication - 1. Take Digene 2 teaspoonful whenever feel discomfort but not more than 3 times a day. 2. Tablet Pantaprazole 40 mg one hour before food once a day for 7 days. 3. Cold milk or butter milk or anta- acids may help in relieving acidity. But some times at the age of 50 it is essential to rule out cardiac pain with ecg and if doubt with stress test you may need proper bsf/pp/hba1c test to rule out diabetes. Some patients may require ogd scopy.

HI Docs; My wife having gallstone of 32mm. Kindly suggest how it can be removed without surgery. I being last from 6 years developed from 13mm to 32mm, pains rarely.

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

Gall bladder gets diseased due to an unhealthy diet and lifestyle. This leads to an imbalance of the acid-alkali balance in the body which causes the cholesterol to precipitate in the gall bladder leading to stone formation. Over time, these may get infected and lead to an acute inflammation, pain, fever etc. A stone may move ahead into a narrow passage or the duct and get stuck leading to severe agony. One can avoid formation of gall stones by just avoiding fatty food, junk foods and going behind unhealthy diet. To cure it naturally with medicines only one can just take our medicines which are combination of herbal and homeo medicines. Just take our medicines for some time and stones will be expelled also thereafter that stent can also be removed.
