Well, there is no harm in using viagra but not using condom can be harmful to your wife in the sense that sexual intercourse can transmit stds and other infections which can cause unnecessary problems to your pregnant wife and fetus.

I am pregnant and diabetic too. I just want a proper diet chart according to time.

M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy

I am pregnant and diabetic too. I just want a proper diet chart according to time.
You may be able to control gestational diabetes by eating well and exercising regularly. This means you won't need to take medication. Sugar (glucose) is one of your body's main sources of energy. Your body uses a hormone called insulin to control the amount of sugar in your blood and to turn it into fuel. But pregnancy hormones reduce the effect of insulin, so your body has to make more to be able to use any sugar in your blood. If you have gestational diabetes, your body isn't producing enough insulin. As a result, your blood sugar levels can get very high and that can lead to problems for your baby. It's possible to keep your blood sugar levels under control by changing what you eat and combining your new healthy diet with regular exercise. In fact, up to 90 per cent of women with gestational diabetes control it this way. DIET There are two types of carbohydrate that give you energy when you eat them. They are: complex carbohydrates, or starch simple carbohydrates, or sugars Sometimes, complex carbohydrates are described as good carbs, and simple carbohydrates as bad. But this doesn't give the whole picture. Simple carbohydrates include added sugars, such as table sugar and honey, as well as natural sugars, found in fruit and milk. Eating plenty of fruit and some dairy products is a healthy thing to do. So when people call simple sugars bad carbs, they are talking about added sugars. If you have gestational diabetes and you have too many foods and drinks high in added sugars, it can upset your blood glucose control. It's not healthy for people without diabetes, either. At least half the energy in our diets should come from carbohydrate, mostly as starchy carbohydrates. Starchy carbohydrates are: bread rice pasta grains potatoes Try to have wholegrain varieties where possible. They provide extra fibre, which is important for your digestion. If you have gestational diabetes, the types of food and drink you'll be advised to have are no different from the type of healthy diet everyone should have. Your food should be high in complex carbohydrates and low in saturated fat. You should not have added sugars, although you won't have to cut them out completely. It's best if you eat fruit, milk and yoghurts as part of a mixed meal. Your body will then absorb the simple sugars in the juice or dairy food more slowly. That's because the sugars are mixed with other food elements, such as fibre and protein. AND USE LOW GLYCEMIC INDEX FOODS LIKE pasta made with durum wheat flour apples, oranges, pears, peaches beans and lentils sweetcorn porridge Eat plenty of high-fibre foods. These foods tend to have a low GI. This may help to keep your blood sugar levels from going too high after meals. High-fibre foods include: fresh fruit and vegetables wholegrain breads and cereals dried peas, beans and pulses.

Gluten Free Diet

M.Sc. in Dietetics and Food Service Management , Post Graduate Diploma In Computer Application, P.G.Diploma in Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics , B.Sc.Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics

Gluten Free Diet

Allowed foods - Many healthy and delicious foods are naturally gluten-free like beans, seeds and nuts in their natural, unprocessed form fresh eggs, fresh meats, fish and poultry (not breaded, batter-coated or marinated), Fruits and vegetables, most dairy products. It's important to make sure that they are not processed or mixed with gluten-containing grains, additives or preservatives. Many grains and starches can be part of a gluten-free diet such as: amaranth arrowroot buckwheat corn and cornmeal flax, gluten-free flours (rice, soy, corn, potato, bean), hominy (corn). Millet quinoa rice, sorghum Soy, tapioca Ttff needs to be avoided.  Avoid all food and drinks containing: barley (malt, malt flavoring and malt vinegar are usually made from barley), rye Triticale (a cross between wheat and rye), wheat. Avoiding wheat can be challenging because wheat products go by numerous names. Consider the many types of wheat flour on supermarket shelves bromated, enriched, phosphated, plain and self-rising. Here are other wheat products to avoid: durum flour, farina graham flour, kamut semolina spelt avoid unless labeled'gluten-free'. In general, avoid the following foods unless they're labeled as gluten-free or made with corn, rice, soy or other gluten-free grain. Beer, breads, cakes and pies, candies and cereals, communion wafers, cookies and crackers, croutons French fries, gravies imitation meat or seafood Matzo, pastas, processed luncheon meats, salad dressing sauces, including soy sauce, seasoned rice mixes, seasoned snack foods, such as potato and tortilla chips, self-basting poultry Soups and soup bases Vegetables in sauce, certain grains, such as oats, can be contaminated with wheat during growing and processing stages of production. For this reason, doctors and dietitians generally recommend avoiding oats unless they are specifically labeled gluten-free. You should also be alert for other products that you eat or that could come in contact with your mouth that may contain gluten. These include: food additives, such as malt flavoring, modified food starch and others medications and vitamins that use gluten as a binding agent.

A Quick Guide for Your Pregnancy Diet

One’s pregnancy is a time when one must be extremely vigilant about a proper diet and good exercise regime that will benefit the child and mother in equal measure. A balanced diet during pregnancy and enough of it is essential for your child to develop and grow in a healthy manner. You need to up your daily intake by 300 to 350 calories per day. Women carrying twins require 500 calories extra each day. Despite the fact that nausea during the initial months of pregnancy can make this troublesome, try to eat a properly balanced diet and take prenatal vitamins.

Here is a guide to a healthy diet during pregnancy:

  1. Eat a variety of food items to get a good amount of the nutrients, which your body requires. 3 main meals and 3 small meals should be taken each day.
  2. Pick fruits and ingredients that are high in fiber like whole grain breads, oats, beans, pasta and rice. In case you take a fiber supplement, increase the dose you take, slowly. This can get rid of gas and cramping. It is just as essential to drink enough fluids when you increase your fiber consumption.
  3. Ensure you are getting enough vitamins and minerals daily. Your specialist can suggest an over-the-counter supplement or recommend a prenatal vitamin for you.
  4. Eat and drink no less than four servings of dairy items and calcium-rich food products a day to guarantee that you are getting at least 1,000 milligrams of calcium on a daily basis.
  5. Eat at least three servings of iron-rich foods such as spinach, beans, lean meat and breakfast cereals every day to ensure that you are getting 27 milligrams of iron each day.
  6. While you are pregnant, you will require 220 micrograms of iodine a day to guarantee for your child's brain and sensory system growth. Look for dairy items like milk, cheese, and yogurt. In addition, baked potatoes, cooked beans, limited portions of fish like cod, salmon, and shrimp can be very healthy.
  7. Consume at least one good source of vitamin C consistently. For instance, oranges, grapefruits, strawberries, papaya, broccoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, green peppers, tomatoes and mustard greens. Pregnant women require 80 to 85 milligrams of vitamin C a day.
  8. Every pregnant woman needs one milligram of folate each day to counteract neural tube defects like spina bifida. Folic acid is an essential choice when you are pregnant.
  9. Consume at least one source of vitamin A each day. Sources of vitamin A are carrots, pumpkins, sweet potatoes, spinach, water squash, turnip greens, beet greens, apricots, and melon. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

Multiple Gestation Pregnancy - Know What It Is!

Multiple Gestation Pregnancy - Know What It Is!

While getting pregnant and conceiving a baby is a perfectly normal physical function that most women go through, there are certain conditions that may lead to untoward complications. In most cases, there are various treatments and precautionary measures once that happens. Yet, there are conditions like multiple gestation pregnancy, that may be difficult to contain and manage. A multiple gestation pregnancy is when a mother is carrying more than one fetus in her womb. This is a very rare condition that affects a few women and not all. Most of the multiple gestation pregnancies usually involve twins. However, others could include triplets or even quadruplets. One can know about the multiple pregnancies through an ultrasound exam.

There are women who are more likely to have more than one baby. These women include the following:

  1. Women over the age of 30
  2. Women with a family history of multiple gestation pregnancy
  3. Obese women
  4. Those who have undergone treatments for fertility
  5. Caucasian women

There are certain signs and symptoms to a multiple pregnancy that separates it from a regular one. These include the following:

  1. Highly sore breasts
  2. Simultaneous foetal movements in separate areas of the womb
  3. An enlarged uterus
  4. High levels of morning sickness
  5. Rise in the human chorionic gonadotropin and alpha-fetoprotein substances
  6. Multiple heartbeats

There are certain risks and complications that come along with a multiple gestation pregnancy. Complications with the babies include the following:

  1. Premature birth is the most common among those, i.e. delivery before 37 weeks.
  2. These infants incur health problems.
  3. Sometimes it could also lead to cerebral palsy or even certain learning or behaviourism problems.
  4. Spina bifida and congenial heart defects
  5. Unequal growth in either of the babies
  6. Underweight infants
  7. Twin-twin transfusion syndrome where the twins might have adjoined body parts.

There are many other complications that may lead to this condition. Other complications in the mother include the following:

  1. Diabetes
  2. Anemia
  3. Pre-term labour
  4. Excessive amniotic fluid
  5. Miscarriage
  6. Post-partum depression
  7. Post-partum haemorrhage
  8. Premature birth

Women who are undergoing a multiple gestation pregnancy should be taken care of more efficiently. There are certain things that need to be taken care of. These include the following:

  1. Diet: Having a healthy diet is very important for a pregnant woman. Additional folic acid, calcium and iron are required. Also, a diet rich in protein is mandatory.
  2. Exercising: Yoga, walking and breathing exercises are great for women with multiple pregnancies. However, in the later stage, she should do lesser activities and indulge in some amount of bed rest.
  3. Genetic testing: If you have health problems that may be hereditary, tests like chorionic villus sampling are very important since one fetus might acquire the health problem while the other may not.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

While having sex with my wife at the end she getting something in white color and getting itching in her private area...
Hello- Vaginal discharge is made of natural fluids and cells produced by the body and this is usually clear and similar in character to mucus at mid-cycle or during ovulation. During sexual arousal and intercourse, vaginal secretion increases to provide lubrication. If secretion is itchy in nature, it might be due to a bacterial infection or an allergic response to any contraceptive /artificial measure used during sex.

We have specialised tablets to reduce size of stomach. This is successful in thousands of people. It works by converting extra fat to glucose and ensures complete consumption of glucose. This is how this medicine reduces hunger and increases energy levels. This medicine gives you proper fat loss and natural shape correction. With this medicine, you can lose up to 7 kg per month. This medicine is free from side effects. If you are interested in this treatment, kindly let me know. Detailed mechanism of action is as follows - - - this medicine locates extra fat, transports it to liver. This step gives you inches loss or figure correction. In the next step, the fat is converted to glucose, at this step, your apetite is reduced as your requirements of glucose are fulfilled out of extra fat. This way, dieting becomes very easy. In the next step glucose is utilised in cells as this medicine transports glucose and oxygen inside cell wall where with the help of mitochondria, the glucose is converted to water and carbon dioxide. The water evaporates through sweat or urine and carbon dioxide is expelled through respiration. This is how fat vanishes and we get weight loss and shape correction.
