Workouts to be done on alternate days and few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

hi after viral fever many persons suffer from body pain for a long time, but dont worry you feel better after some time, you may try guduchi powder, tulsi powder thrice a day with leuk warm water. herbal tea- tulsi ginger,dalchini. more liquid diet,juice.bed rest.if pain troublesome then take some analgesics.

Doctor, I am having cold problem and I can't breathe properly, I am feeling like a sort of having sputum in throat so that I can't swallow foods easily. And soon after eating I am getting a vomiting sensation. Is that due to cold in throat? And what is the solution to this problem.

If it is becoming severe then please go to a doctor. Till then have lots of water and fluids. Do warm water gargling with a little salt in it. Take some steam inhalation (2-3 times a day) which will give relief to the congestion. You can take Homeopathy if you have a tendency to catch cold throughout the year (allergic condition ). Ayurveda treats hairfall as pitta doshadhikya. So according to ayurveda you should do following things: 1) start taking 1 amla everyday. 2) apply paste of trifla, bhringraj & methi seeds on head before washing & wash after 1 hr. 3) increase the qty of milk & ghee in your diet. 4) have a good sleep. 5) go for shirodhara, a panchakarma treatment for reduced stress & better hair growth 6) reduce the amount of salt & spices in your daily diet 7) wash hair with trifla & neem kadha.

I have spots after chicken pox what should I do to remove these spots. My age is 16 years & Skin is oily.
Home Remedies- 1.A paste of fresh fenugreek leaves, applied and washed off with warm water before going to bed is good for removing scars. 2.Apply a mixture of carrot juice and pineapple juice to skin twice a week. This not only removes the marks but also adds shine to your skin. 3.Make a powdered mixture of coriander seeds, saunf, tulsi, turmeric, and Indian gooseberry (amla) in equal parts. Take ½ teaspoon of this powder 15 minutes before lunch and dinner. 4.Prepare a mixture of lemon juice and rose water in equal quantities. Apply this mixture on the affected areas and wash off with fresh water after half an hour. Diet- Raw Onion,Raw Garlic, Raw Ginger, mint,Boiled Beans,Carrots, sweet potato, Flaxseed,oranges,tomato,lemon,spinach. Drink home made soyabean powder with milk twice daily. Chew fresh soft stems of Giloy(Guduchi) twice daily. Salad 1hr before lunch and 1hr before dinner. Minimise sugar consumption. Do's and Dont's- Avoid spicy, oily foods, tea, coffee, cold drinks. Eat fresh, unprocessed food. Avoid White rice , bread, corn flakes and other foods which are high in glycemic index. Avoid washing your face with soaps.Use fresh aloe vera twice a day. Cleanse your face with lemon peels. Increase intake of water to about 3-4litres per day, and take coconut water. Yogasanas- Sarvangasana, Vajrasana, Shavasana, Anulom-Vilom Pranayam. Do meditation.

If you are suffering from stomach ache since 15 days and not getting relief,I advice you to do an upper GI endoscopy after consulting gastro enterologist and follow the advice and treatment accordingly

Ayurvedic Remedies That Help Treat Thyroid Disorder!!

Thyroid has become a common ailment among most women in India nowadays. It is triggered due to the presence of impurities in the blood, which lead to hormonal imbalances and therefore, a number of symptoms, including anorexia, unhealthy weight gain, loss of energy, weakness and fatigue are experienced. But in case of hyperthyroid, you will notice an increased metabolic activity, a rise in pulse rate, loss of weight and palpitation.

Irrespective of whether you are suffering from hyperthyroid or hypothyroid, Ayurvedic treatment has some viable solutions that are aimed at elevating your health condition.

Ayurveda and Thyroid--

Though there is no direct mention of thyroid in the Ayurvedic texts, there are major implications that hint towards a disease like thyroid that is caused due to imbalance of body fluid and its probable treatments. Thyroid imbalance can be controlled by the following treatment regimen that includes:

1. Dietary regulations: As per Charaka, thyroid doesn’t affect those individuals who take milk in adequate quantities. In addition, you must take moong seeds, bengal gram seeds, sugarcane, cucumber, barley and old rice in optimum amounts for prevention of thyroid. In case you are already suffering from thyroid imbalance, then you must also aim at having a considerable amount of milk on a regular basis.

2. Herbs for regulating thyroid: The herb named Purple Mountain Ebony is purposely helpful in the treatment as well as proper functioning of the thyroid gland. In addition to this herb, you must also intake Punarnava, Brahmi, Jatamansi, Gokshura and Shilajita for alleviating your thyroid problems.

3. Home remedies: If there is swelling in any part of the body caused due to thyroid imbalances, then it can be properly treated by applying a fine paste of Jalakumbhi over the affected area. The juice of this paste can be administered in a small quantity of 22 grams in a span of 24 hours. It helps to increase the amount of iodine in the body which helps to fix various problems in the body. If you are experiencing a lack of energy and weakness, you can use coconut oil for boosting the sluggish metabolism of the body.

4. Yoga for treating thyroid: There are various Yogic postures, which are believed to help in the maintenance of the thyroid gland. You can practice sun salutation, fish pose and shoulder stand for alleviating your condition and get rid of all types of health issues caused from thyroid imbalances.
