Hello, I understand your concern. Neck stiffness, shoulder stiffness, neck pain these are all due to cervical spondylosis. This is a age related disorder common in old age. For this problem I suggest you to consult a physiotherapist who will teach you some exercises which will help you to reduce the stiffness of neck and shoulder. Additionally, you can take tab. Zerodol-mr 1 tab whenever needed. Osteoarthritis is again a different problem to deal with. As it is a degenerative diaease of joint it is difficult to treat with medication. I really appreciate what you are doing, i. E, weight loss, playing volleyball, working field. All these help you to reduce pain. Additionally, you can try some stretching exercise of joints. Ex. Yoga. Tha tablet which I have mentioned above will also help you to reduce the pain from osteoarthritis. Constipation and gastric problem: try to increase fibre content in your food. Add green leafy vegetables. Drink plenty of water. Drink luke warm water as soon as you get up. This will stimulate the gut. Try to develop a habit og going to toilet at the same time daily. This will help your body to get adjust to that time. For gastric problem, you might be already taking some medication. Additionally, avoid tea coffee, spicy food. Take care. If you need any further information you can always contact me through lybrate.

Dear, According to Ayurveda joint pain is known as Sandhigata vata. With increase in age vata dosha is predominant in human body that is why with aging disease caused by vata dosha increases in body. Joint pain is a common symptom with many possible causes. Joint Pain and Arthritis are the one of the most devastating conditions faced by individuals, particularly elderly women today. When there is pure Vata dosha involvement (a pain without swelling or discoloration) then the massage with medicated ayurvedic oil is quite useful & supplement is helpful in balancing bodily humors ?vata, which is responsible dosha for Sandhigata vata . Dear sir/madam I am having a very peculiar pain below the neck from past one year. That pain sometimes radiates in the chest region and lower back. Before a year when I realised about the pain I use to do heat therapy at home .it use to pain during bathing and walking. I use to have shortness of breath. My bp suddenly rose one day and I had to consult the doc. The doc did not understand the problem. Later I consulted homeopath and general physician but they told me to consult a neurologist. My ECG report and spine x ray report was normal. But bp was 200 which came down after I took medication. I do not have any bp problem. Few months later the bp problem was gone and suddenly my mouth and left part got numb as if I had a paralytic attack this happened twice but that too stopped. Now at present whenever I eat food I get pain exactly below left shoulder. This pain retains till partially food gets digested and till gas comes out. For this I take dabur pain hara from past several months. It gives me relief from gas and the pain too. I get unbearable pain sometimes. After eating my wife massages that area below left shoulder resulting in burping and finally pain comes down. Besides whenever I get depressed or frightened I get severe pain in that area. Honestly speaking I live in a very small town where neurologists are not available. And most important thing is that I am going through financial crisis and currently cannot afford the consultation and treatment charges. I am not able to understand what problem am I facing exactly. Please help me find a solution in the best possible way. I will be very grateful to you ever after. I am suffering from past one year. I hope you understand my problem.

Sir, you need to consult a cardiologist, you will require Echo and an angiogram, because your symptoms suggest that you probably have a blockage. Also the weakness you have mentioned is called a TIA, it is a stroke which has luckily resolved spontaneously. This can be very dangerous, so kindly consult a cardiologist and a Neurologist ASAP so that you can be put on medical therapy. None of this can be treated without investigations, so even though you have mentioned your financial issues, for your safety you take consultations with a cardiologist and neurologist in person.

Thanks for the query. For a diabetic it is best advised to have a diet planned as per the sugar levels, lifestyle and history. Though you can follow some guidelines - Have small frequent meals. Do not fast for long hours. Avoid a very heavy meal at one time. Avoid fruit juices, aerated drinks or sugarcane juice, honey, jaggery or sugar. Avoid junk foods. Stay active. Right now you can still do some exercises that doesn't need to pressure your knees. Do not attempt to try out too many remedies as you could go into hypoglycaemia. Sleep well. It's all a matter of discipline.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).
