The prognosis (chance of recovery) and treatment options depend on the following: The stage of the cancer (whether the cancer has spread from the gallbladder to other places in the body). Whether the cancer can be completely removed by surgery. Treatment may also depend on the age and general health of the patient and whether the cancer is causing signs or symptoms. Gallbladder cancer can be cured only if it is found before it has spread, when it can be removed by surgery. If the cancer has spread, palliative treatment can improve the patient's quality of life by controlling the symptoms and complications of this disease. Consult an oncologist for furthur treatment options.

My mother has diabetes problem and sometimes the problem with stomach. Is diabetes is related with stomach? Advise so...
Over time, diabetes can affect many parts of your body. One of those is the vagus nerve, which controls how quickly your stomach empties. When it's damaged, your digestion slows down and food stays in your body longer than it should. This is a condition called gastroparesis. It can make you feel queasy and vomit. It's also bad for your blood sugar levels. Although it's more common in people with type 1 diabetes, people with type 2 can also get it. Most people with gastroparesis have had diabetes for at least 10 years and also have other complications related to the disease. If you have diabetes, one of the best ways to help control the symptoms of gastroparesis is to vary when and how you eat. For instance, instead of eating three times a day, you can have six small meals. You'll have less food in your stomach, so you won't feel as full. It'll be easier for the food to leave your system, too. Also, pay attention to the texture of food. Liquids and things that are easy to digest are a good idea. Avoid foods that are high in fat, which can slow down digestion. Also watch out for fiber, which takes longer for your body to process.

Gastritis can be caused by irritation due to excessive alcohol use, chronic vomiting, stress, or the use of certain medications such as aspirin or other anti-inflammatory drugs or long term antibiotics use. It may also be caused by any of the following: helicobacter pylori (h. Pylori): a bacteria that lives in the mucous lining of the stomach; without treatment, the infection can lead to ulcers, and in some people, stomach cancer. Pernicious anemia: a form of anemia that occurs when the stomach lacks a naturally occurring substance needed to properly absorb and digest vitamin b12 bile reflux: a backflow of bile into the stomach from the bile tract (that connects to the liver and gallbladder) infections caused by bacteria and viruses you can go in for an upper gi endoscopy to look for cause in your stomach and then start treatment accordingly after consulting a gastroenterologist.

He had a serious heart attack at last week. Now he is fine. What is the chance of 2nd attack ?
These factors increase your risk for another heart attack: inactive lifestyle being overweight or obese high cholesterol high blood sugar, if you have diabetes high blood pressure smoking excess stress metal stents, devices placed into an artery to keep the vessel open, have been used in lieu of balloon angioplasty to treat patients with coronary artery disease (cad) for about 15 years, due to their better long-term patency. Nonetheless, with conventional (" bare metal") stents, there may be a disease recurrence rate of at least 20% to 30% due to scar tissue formation within the stent. Much research has been done to try to prevent this scar tissue formation. In the past decade, newer metal stents coated with medication to prevent scar tissue formation have become widely available. These stents have reduced the recurrence (" restenosis") rate of coronary artery disease to well under 10%. These percentages are vlid only if you take proper precautions to avoid risk factors for heart attack as mentioned above and you keep taking your prescribed medicines regularly.

Excessive flatulence can be reduced or prevented with several methods such as modifying your eating habits, changing your diet to avoid those foods that cause you personally to produce excessive gas, avoiding dairy products if you are lactose intolerant. Get a stool test done to find out if you have any intestinal infection and take treatment according to the report.

I have a flu what are its symptoms and how can I take precautions and also what are its medications.
1. Avoid close contact. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. When you are sick, keep your distance from others to protect them from getting sick too. 2. Stay home when you are sick. If possible, stay home from work, school, and errands when you are sick. This will help prevent spreading your illness to others. 3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. It may prevent those around you from getting sick. 4. Clean your hands. Washing your hands often will help protect you from germs. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand rub. 5. Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth. Germs are often spread when a person touches something that is contaminated with germs and then touches his or her eyes, nose, or mouth. 6. Practice other good health habits. Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces at home, work or school, especially when someone is ill. Get plenty of sleep, be physically active, manage your stress, drink plenty of fluids, and eat nutritious food. Treatment is symptomatic like cough syrup for cough and paracetamol for fever and headache.

I am 21 years old my pennis size is 4 inch suggest some tablets to increase its size or diet.
Penis size is genetic. There is no medication or herbal product of any kind that will enlarge your penis so do not waste your money. Honestly, most women do not care much about size. A large penis in of itself does not make for satisfactory sex and a very large penis can hurt. What satisfies a woman best is that you put her needs as being of utmost importance. If you give your woman a lot of attention she will not care about the size of your penis. Most of us will take a man who pays attention to us over a man with a large penis who satisfies only himself any day.

I have chickenpox since today, I have about 10 or 12 dots on my hand. So what can I do. Sir, give me medicine. Thanks.

MD - General Medicine
Internal Medicine Specialist, Noida
Isolation of the patient for about 6 days after the onset of rashes and disinfecting the articles soiled by nose and throat discharge of the patient are the usual control measures. Treatment mostly consists of easing the symptoms. In serious cases of chickenpox and in people with a weak immune system, aciclovir which works specifically against chickenpox can be used. The drug should help reduce the severity of chickenpox symptoms, especially in older children and teenagers if taken within 24 hours of the rash's first appearance. An alternative antiviral agent is vidarabine. The infected person will be contagious until all the blisters have scabs and when new blisters have stopped appearing. It is advised that the patient should stay at home while they are infectious. Avoid scratching the blisters because of the risk of infection. Cut the nails short or make the patient wear gloves. Pay attention to personal hygiene. Calamine lotion will help relieve itching. Keep the patient in cold surroundings as heat and sweat may make the itching worse. In attacks of chickenpox where the itching is so serious that the sleep is totally disturbed, antihistamine medications with a heavily sedative effect can be used. Many other skin diseases look like chicken pox so kindly visit a dermatologist and get your disease confirmed before starting any medication.
