Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Press the point on the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from toe in the foot 20 times by pressing and releasing with a blunt edge of a pen. Further rotate your foot clockwise and anticlockwise 10 times. Massage your leg with both hands. Consult after 5 days.

If you suffer from acne, pimples, blackheads & dark spots it means that the pitta dosha (heat in body) is increased. For that you need proper ayurvedic medicine along with following diet & lifestyle changes. 1) avoid eating salty, spicy & sour foods 2) have milk & ghee twice daily 3) green tea has antimicrobial and antioxidant compounds that can help fight acne. To get its effects, use a cooled cup of green tea as a face wash or lay the bag over the affected area. 4) apply a teaspoon of honey to affected areas, or make a mask by mixing 1/2 cup of honey with 1 cup of plain oatmeal and leaving it on for 30 minutes.

Hello, it seems like its because of your High BP problem. Some times high BP caused unknown disease. So control you BP take low sodium salt i am prescribing you this. THE LUNA BP SALT. Take this in your meal and avoid fast food, avoid oily food. Just take home made products.

Dear to decrease your weight you have to do work out daily. Try the remedies below they can help u. 1. Mix three teaspoons of lemon juice, one teaspoon of honey, and one-half teaspoon of black pepper powder in one glass of water. 2. Drink it in the morning on an empty stomach. 3. Do this daily for at least three months. 4. Drink mint tea or make a paste of green mint with some simple spices and eat during meals. 5. Eat vegetables such as bitter gourd and drumsticks to control obesity. 6. Do bhujang asana, dhanurasana, naukasana, kumbhakasana, pavanamukthasana daily 10 min per asana. 7. Do running early morning daily and join aerobics in evening. 8. Avoid oily and fried foods, processed foods, fatty foods like butter, purified butter, cheese, whole-milk yogurt, cream, chocolate, etc. 9.Replace refined flour with whole-wheat flour and rice with brown rice or parboiled rice.

It could be also due to Masturbation. So avoid it and take 1 tsf liquorice powder (mulethi)+ 1/2 tsf sonth (dry ginger) + 1 cup milk + 4 cup water. Boil and reduce to 1 cup. Filter and add 1 tsf ghee to it and take daily before evening meals for 3 days.

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. Ice can be kept in the low back where you have back pain. It is suggestible to wear lumbo sacral belt which would help you to build the abdominal muscle tone which itself would make you feel better. You can also wear mcr chappals which would help you to have less weight falling in the painful back. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain.

Good to know that your echo (%age functioning of heart), treadmill (stress to heart) tests are normal. You are worried about heart failure, fear is justified because of first degree av block. Remember that heart never fails suddenly, it can stop functioning suddenly. Heart failure is a slow process and it reflects on echo & treadmill tests and there are associated clinical symptoms for doctor to look for and get the relevant tests done.

Dark circles are mostly due to habits. Avoid rubbing eyes. Get allergies tested. If you have refractive errors, get it checked and corrected. Avoid eye cosmetics and chemicals. Shampoos that seep down to eyeswhile bathing can contribute to this, so don't let it accumulate. Food should b supplemented with iron capsules. Have green leafy vegetables and jaggery in plenty. Overtime with computers, laptops, television, can increase the chances of darkness around eyes. Get your hb checked. Catch a good six hour sleep everyday. Relax and destress with yoga, meditation, prayer. Dark circles don't have a one-stop solution or home remedy. Sunken eyes won't respond to creams or medicines. Dark circles can occur if you don't get adequate sleep, so make sure you get at least a six hour sleep. Don't rub your eyes since this can aggravate darkness. Eye cosmetics vil harm a lot, so keep away. If you have any dust allergy, get it treated. Spent less time with a computer. Correct any anaemia if present. Have green leafy vegetables.

How to overcome cravings to reduce fat

As a matter of fact, don’t push hard to avoid a craving. When your brain is giving signal that you must eat something, you should not avoid it. However, when your aim is to reduce fat, then such a craving has to be worked upon, esp. when it’s just a craving and you are not actually hungry. There are ways to achieve this.

1. Reduce stress: Stress reduction is important when you intend to reduce body fat because it has been observed that you tend to eat more and have more cravings when you are under stress. To reduce stress in your life, try regular exercising and walking.

2. Distract yourself: Whenever you get cravings, try to distract yourself so that you don’t think about eating at odd times. Go for a walk, play with your pet or engage in something that you love doing. Listening to your favourite music is one good distraction that can completely make you forget food craving keeping you away from food. Also, it will make your mood lighter.

3. Eat less but not less than your usual diet: While trying to avoid craving and reducing fat, you shouldn’t forget to take normal diet. Because lack of proper diet will make you weak which might reduce fat but will have negative effect on your health too! So, don’t forget to take balanced diet.

4. Work on controlling portions: When you are trying to avoid craving, you should also cut down on consuming more fatty food. What you need to concentrate is on avoiding craving but when it comes to your normal diet, you should take controlled portions of fatty food.

5. Get a sound sleep: Having a sound sleep will keep your eating habits in control. So make sure you sleep well so that it doesn’t disturb your eating habits.

6. Increase water intake: Take as much water as you can take because water leads to fat loss. So, when you are trying to avoid craving, drinking a glass or two of water can also be helpful in achieving your goal.

7. Take yourself away from the food: If you are living alone this is easiest. Just don't buy it! Don't carry spare cash for snacking when out, and don't even look at the section in the supermarket. This makes it so much easier. If you live with other people, just don't be around them when they start to eat tempting food. Easy!

8. Eat alternative food: You can even carry around alternatives to help if you get a craving. A low sugar free alternative is almonds and walnuts ! Not only does it provide satiety but it can keep you preoccupied for hours. An apple is also handy to munch on to keep you busy - even better!

9. A healthy breakfast every morning: The food you eat in the morning will most likely be burned off by the end of the day, so eat a breakfast like a king..lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper. Include protein, complex carbohydrate unsaturated fats,vitamins and minerals in your breakfast so that you don't get as hungry later in the day.

. Here are some diet tips 1. Eat high fibre food avoids eating food in simple sugar form 2. eat fresh fruits instead of fruit juices. Fruits are good source of fibre except banana mango, chiku. 3. Try to avoid deep fried food and oil containing food. control your fat consumption in your routine diet 4. Avoid bakery products, sweets. 5. Have plenty of water at least 3 Lt/day 6. At least half hour walk/day. All are common things but for definite result you need individual diet and exercise schedule.

Hi the best diet for anyone who is pursuing cardiovascular activities is one which comprises more amount of protein and less carbohydrates and fats. Consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg sources throughout the day. Try to consume least amount of simple carbohydrates which mainly comes from sweet and processed foods. Complex carbohydrates like brown rice, brown bread and oats are good. And avoid any types of fats during the day. Extra virgin olive oil is an exception but that should be consumed during the day time only. And there is no such health benefits difference between morning and evening jog. Both provide you the same benefits. Do what you feel comfortable.

I have decided to eat only banana for a month. Now am on my 8 days of eating banana only. I am taking 1 kg in breakfast, 1 kg in lunch and 1/2 kg in dinner time with 300gm curd. Dear lybrate user, -To keep fit you have to consume foods from all food groups that is carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals & water -eating only bananas will provide carbohydrates,fibre & some vitamins, if the body does not get the other essential foods then it can lead to deficiency state & deficiency disorders -have other fruits & vegetables & wholegrains, also include low fat dairy products, nuts -consult a dietician for proper diet as per your activity level, eating habits, your favourite foods, all this in a balanced way to avoid any health problems in future.

Follow these methods to clear dark circles fastly: • Take 6 to 8 hrs sleep regularly. • Do yogasana specially SINHASANA & Bhramari Pranayam. • Apply piece of cucumber on your both eyes. • Apply almond oil or you can apply capsule of vitamin E mix it in mosturiser or cream you have daily around the eye in night and massage it lightly daily. • Take a piece of potato and make it's juice by crush it apply its juice for 15 min daily. • • Take 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric (haldi) with one teaspoon of besan mix it with water and make paste apply it around eyes for 10 minutes and make it dry remove it. • Eat green leafy vegetables daily and fruits daily. Drink a glass of milk daily.

I am 35 years old male, got back pain 5 days ago while doing situps, taken nevoron injection got relief, now taking neorelax tablet. Had bed rest for 4 days. Came to work today with the waist belt. Is my case worrisome?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. If your pain is mild and localized to your lower back region, do not worry too much since this is your first episode and it could be just a muscular strain. My advice would be to continue with conservative form of management including rest, ice packs locally, local analgesic sprays, short course anti-inflammatory medication as you are already taking. I am not a big fan of belts for support, so maybe you can avoid that. Do not bend forwards acutely, lift heavy weights or engage in long travels till your pain completely subsides and take care of your posture at home and also in your office. Normally pain should be better in 2-3 weeks time, please let me know if it is not settling/increasing etc. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hi. Dark circles can be temporary (means happens after any recent or chronic diseases or underlying medical condition, allergies, sinus infections and nasal congestions, lower eyelid laxity, fluid retention, hormonal imbalances, hyperpigmentation, aging, sun-exposure, insufficient sleep, worm-infestation, nutritional deificiency, working long hrs. on computer, lack of rest, stress/ tension, etc.) which can be improved by fixing the underlying cause or the problem or can be inherited from your parent's genes which can't be treated or cured! Management: Eat healthy and on time. Avoid junk. Drink plenty of water (as dehydration can cause dull or patchy skin). Sleep well. Wear anti-glare spectacles while working on computer. The area under your eyes has very sensitive skin, so never use chemical bleach. Reduce your stress/ tension through yoga, meditation or any other exercises (it not only improves your blood circulation, but also reduces the production of stress hormones by the body as well as increases happy hormones in the body). Use sunglasses regularly when you are in the sun and not to forget to apply a thick layer of Bakson's Suncare Sunscreen liberally, 20-30 minutes before stepping out in the sun and apply the same again after 3-4 hours if you have exposure to sunlight for long hours. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Cina 1M/ one dose daily at night for 10 days. Schwabe's Alfalafa Tonic/ 1 tsp thrice a day daily for 20 days and revert me back about the condition. Apply Bakson's Under Eye Cream twice daily (in morning and at night) and Medicynth's Whitch Hazel cream and Bakson's Under Eye cream twice - in morning and at night daily.
