Ayurvedic medicines together with allopathic medicines can sometimes cause drug interactions. Hence allopathic doctors usually do not know about the content of ayurvedic medicines, it will be very difficult to find out what kind of interactions are there. It could be very harmful for the body. It is better you stick to one of them.

Have healthy diet that includes fruits and vegetables,good quality protein, dairy products rich in calcium for faster recovery Drink plenty of liquids. Take adequate rest. Multivitamin could be helpful to you. Hope this helps u.

The dinner should be lighter, and do not sleep immediately after meals. Do not expose yourself to cold winds of winter. Quitting smoking will be a best decision for your good health.

Can be controled with foracort 200 2 puff/twice/day with zerostate spacer. In asthma you may have to step the dose/step down as per need every 3 month of good control.

My age is 35. I suffered from brain stroke since last 3 months. I am taking medicine under supervision of local doctor. Mobility of my right hand is marginal. Speech is partly unclear. Recalling is not normal. PL advice how long it will take to become normal as I have paralysed in my right side.

If you suffered a stroke and recovering you may wait for another three months for any further improvements to manifest. By that time 95% of what you are destined to get back will return. If you have hypertension/diabetes they need to be controlled too. If you can inform the drugs advised further suggestions can be made.

7 Tips For Good Bone Health

1. Eat calcium-rich foods

In addition to dairy products, choose fish with bones such as salmon, sardines or whitebait. For additional benefits, serve them with a side of dark leafy green vegetables or broccoli. Almonds, dried figs, fortified tofu and soy milk are also calcium-rich choices, says registered dietitian laura jeffers, med, rd, ld.

2. Take calcium supplements

The u. S. Recommended daily allowance for calcium is 1, 000 mg a day during your 20s, 30s and 40s. But your need rises as you age. Check with your doctor before starting supplements to find out what amount is right for you. For example, after menopause, most women need 1000 to 1, 500 mg a day unless they take hormone therapy. Your body only absorbs 500 mg of calcium at a time, Ms. Jeffers notes, so spread your consumption out over the course of the day.


3. Add d to your day

To help absorb calcium, most adults need 1, 000 to 2, 000 iu of vitamin d daily, combined calcium-vitamin d pills usually do not meet this requirement. And most of us who live north of atlanta do not get enough vitamin d the old-fashioned way — from the sun. Taking a vitamin d supplement will ensure you meet your daily needs.


4. Start weight-bearing exercises

To boost your bone strength, try exercise that “loads” or compresses your bones, says exercise physiologist heather nettle, ma. “running, jogging, high-impact aerobics, repetitive stair climbing, dancing, tennis and basketball are best for building bones. But if you have osteopenia, osteoporosis or arthritis, try walking or using an elliptical or other machine,” she says. Be sure to clear any exercise plans with your doctor first.


5. Don’t smoke, and don’t drink excessively

Bad news for bad habits: loss of bone mineral density is associated with tobacco use and excessive alcohol consumption, Dr. Sikon says. If you smoke, look into a program to help you quit. If you drink, stick to no more than one libation a day, she advises.

6. Get your bone mineral density tested

Doctors can get a quick and painless “snapshot” of bone health using a simple x-ray test called dxa. This test measures bone mineral density and helps determine risks of osteoporosis and fracture. Dr. Sikon recommends testing for women within two years of menopause. Earlier tests are recommended for men and women with certain diseases and for those taking medications that increase risk, such as long-term steroid therapy.

7. Medication

Perimenopausal women may consider hormone therapy to increase waning estrogen levels, which are linked to bone loss. And women and men diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis can take various medications to prevent dangerous hip and spine fractures.

Mr. Lybrate-user, first thing is that ground nuts taken in small quantity, do not increase blood sugar level. They provide fair amount of protein and fats. There is hardly any carb. You have not mentioned the quantity of intake, that is important. About 30 g a day is fine. Plus having a tight sugar control is also very necessary. If your diabetes is in check, meaning fasting nearer 100 mg and pp between 150 to 160 mg and hba1c%<7, then it is good.

The best remedy i can recommend you is as follows Natural home remedy using almonds, cow's milk, ginger powder, cardamom and saffron: Saffron is a mild aphrodisiac 1. Soak 10 almonds in water overnight 2. Peel off the skin and crush them the next morning 3. Take 1 cup hot cow's milk 4. Add the crushed almonds 5. Add a pinch of ginger powder 6. 1. Check your hemoglobin, bp. 2. Avoid stress, anxiety, severe physical and mental exertion 3. Take adequate rest and sleep for 7-8 hours daily to remain healthy 4. Have good nourishing diet, plenty of green leafy vegetables, fruits etc 5. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily) 6. Take one capsule of revital daily after breakfast 7. You have to set suitable conditions for you to fall asleep like exercise activities calm surroundings reading books or design your own pattern for that.
