I am suffering from masturbation regularly. So what can I do? I want to leave all bad habit like this.

BHMS
Homeopath, Sindhudurg
I am suffering from masturbation regularly. So what can I do? I want to leave all bad habit like this.
Side effects of masturbation Lower back pain. Hair loss or thinning out of hair. Numb or weak erectile problems. Cramps and aches experienced in the pelvic zone, groins, and testicles. Disturbance in eyesight or fuzzy vision. Persistent feeling of fatigue almost at all times. Early and untimely ejaculation. Stress, fatigue, and memory loss might also be some of the adverse psychological side effects. Extreme cases might also lead to impotence. Over-masturbation might lead to over-stimulation of acetylcholine/parasympathetic nervous functions and interrupt the liver’s discharge of enzymes that synthesize neurotransmitters acetylcholine, dopamine, and serotonin. It is also potentially harmful for liver in that it disturbs the function of releasing those enzymes that help in hormonal production. This results in over-secretion of hormones like dopamine, norepinephrine, epinephrine, and other hormones and neural transmitters. Over-masturbation Preventive technique and treatment Most of the teenagers and young adults both male and females they don’t know how to stop masturbation. Homoeopathy is excellent treatment to stop masturbation And for removing side effects of over masturbation. Homeo medicines works well in over masturbation side effects for both male and female. You can Consult me for homoepathic treatment without side effects.

I have black dots on my penis please tell me why its happened. The dots haven't painting at all but looking very bad ...
Most common cause of dark spot on penis is penile melanosis. Penile melanosis is well-defined, oval, brown to black, flat patch that can be seen on glans penis (penis head) or shaft of penis. Pigmented nevus (Moles) of the penis(Moles are quite common presentation on penis; they can be flat or slightly raised brown to dark color) Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation (PIH) Another cause of black spots on penis is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation which is quite common. Minor infections like folliculitis, minor injuries or even irritation can leave black pigmentation after healing which will fade with time. These minor injuries or irritation can be so mild that you may not have noticed, all you notice is post inflammatory hyperpigmentation. You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance

Sir. I am ajeet yc from Vijayapur. Now I am studying MCA final year. I have stammering problem. Will you please help me to speak. I am speaking good but some of words start with k, s, p, q, etc I struggled on this spells.

BASM, MD, MS (Counseling & Psychotherapy), MSc - Psychology, Certificate in Clinical psychology of children and Young People, Certificate in Psychological First Aid, Certificate in Positive Psychology
Psychologist, Palakkad
Dear, welcome to lybrate. Stammering is" speaking with sudden involuntary pauses and a tendency to repeat the initial letters of words" or" say something with difficulty, repeating the initial letters of words and with sudden involuntary pauses" stammering could be due to two reasons. First reason is vocal cord misalignment. Second is psychological performance anxiety. First of all you should consult an ent specialist and evaluate your vocal chords. If there is problem, ent specialist will be able to correct it. If there is no problem with your vocal chords, the best option is stammer therapy. Take care.

I have got a problem with my organ. I am male. 25. Unmarried. I am not getting a proper hard erection and have the problem of peeing too. I use to masturbate. Does this have a solution?

DNB (ENT), MBBS
ENT Specialist, Bangalore
Yes it does have a solution. Most of the time the problem is due to performance anxiety and stress and is very easily treatable. Excessive mastrubation (>1-2 times per day) can cause such difficulties. It is recommended that you see a physician for a more detailed evaluation.

I am 23 year old male. I have headache since 2015. I have used pain relief but it did not worked so please tell me wh...
Head ache can be of many reasons and the commonest is visual refractive error of eyes, Checking eyes and correcting errors can cure headaches, similarly the cause can be migraine and tension. Tension relieving methods and migraine medication can sure these. Check your eyes first of all and do a blood CBC & TSH and inform me personally This includes the blood vessels, muscles and nerves of the head and neck. They may also result from changes in chemical activity in the brain. Primary headaches can occur when pain-sensitive structures in the head do not work properly. Common primary headaches include migraines, cluster headaches and tension headaches. Headache is a broad term that encompasses many different things. Headaches are pains that occur in any region of the head; they can occur on both sides the head or be isolated to a certain location. Headaches can radiate across the head from a central point or have a pincering vise-like quality. They can be sharp, throbbing or dull, appear gradually or suddenly and last for multiple days or less than an hour.4 There are multiple ways to define headaches. The International Headache Society (IHS) categorize headaches as primary headaches or secondary headaches, depending on what has caused them 1) Primary headaches Primary headaches are stand-alone illnesses caused directly by the overactivity of, or problems with, structures in the head that are pain-sensitive. This includes the blood vessels, muscles and nerves of the head and neck. They may also result from changes in chemical activity in the brain. Primary headaches can occur when pain-sensitive structures in the head do not work properly. Common primary headaches include migraines, cluster headaches and tension headaches. Some types of headache can be both primary and secondary as they may be an isolated issue or a result of another condition or illness. Such headaches can involve:  Direct physical stimuli, such as temperature and external pressure  Pain over the scalp (epicranial)  Physical exertion  Other miscellaneous headaches. 2) Secondary headaches Secondary headaches are headaches that are symptoms of another condition that stimulates the pain-sensitive nerves of the head. There are a vast number of different conditions that can cause secondary headaches, ranging in severity from an alcohol-induced hangover to a brain tumor. Secondary headaches can be the result of serious conditions such as stroke, but can equally be a consequence of eating cold food too quickly. In addition to those two examples, the following list should serve to illustrate the variety of different conditions that can cause secondary headaches:  Blood clots  Brain freeze (ice cream headaches)  Carbon monoxide poisoning  Concussion  Dehydration  Glaucoma  Influenza  Overuse of pain medication (rebound headaches)  Panic attacks  Stroke. As headaches can be a symptom of a serious condition, it is important to seek medical advice if headaches become more severe, regular or persistent. For example, if the headache is more painful and disruptive than previous headaches, worsens or fails to improve with medication or is accompanied by other symptoms such as confusion, fever, sensory changes and stiffness, a health care provider should be contacted.

Bed Wetting

BHMS
Homeopath, Delhi
Bed Wetting

Bedwetting or nocturnal eneuresis as it medically is quite common in children. Generally, bed-wetting before age 7 isn't a concern. At this age, your child may still be developing nighttime bladder control.

Bed-wetting is involuntary urination while asleep after the age at which staying dry at night can be reasonably expected.

Most kids are fully toilet trained by age 5, but there's really no target date for developing complete bladder control. Between the ages of 5 and 7, bed-wetting remains a problem for some children. But if it still continues after 7 its a matter of concern this means the nervous control over the bladder is not yet reached.

Causes of bed wetting:

Commonest of all is habits. Many children habitually ignore the urge to urinate and put off urinating as long as they possibly can

Urinary tract infection: the resulting bladder irritation can cause pain or irritation with urination, a strongeurge to urinate (urgency), and frequent urination (frequency).

Inability to recognize a full bladder. If the nerves that control the bladder are slow to mature, a full bladder may not wake your child — especially if your child is a deep sleeper.

Stress and Stressful events — such as becoming a big brother or sister, starting a new school, or sleeping away from home — may trigger bed-wetting.

Role of homoeopathy in bedwetting:

Homoeopathy works on the immune system. Homeopathic medicine will increase the muscle or nervous control and hence can cure it in a months time.

Wounds VS Bruises

FHM FELLOWSHIP IN HIV MEDICINE, MD, MBBS
General Physician, Hyderabad
Wounds VS Bruises

Wounds and bruises are both injuries. However, they differ widely in terms of the causing factors, the nature of the injury, the pain they cause and the kind of treatment they require.

The following are a few of the myriad ways in which the two injuries differ from each other:

  1. A wound causes quick damage - the skin tissue is cut or punctured while a bruise (also called a closed wound) is where the skin is not torn.
  2. A wound is usually caused by a sharp object but bruises are the results of blunt force or trauma.
  3. A wound almost certainly bleeds due to ruptured tissue and blood vessels. Blunt injury also damages the blood capillaries of the skin and causes blood to accumulate under the skin tissue, creating a dark patch of skin. Blood vessels can also break due to lifting of heavy objects or overexertion of muscles.
  4. A wound carries the risk of infection because the skin is open but a bruise does not get infected.
  5. A wound has a burning or stinging sensation but a bruise is characterized by swelling and a blunt throbbing pain.
  6. A wound can be healed by antiseptic and antibiotic medication. Large wounds need to be closed by stitching them up to avoid severe infection. On the other hand, a bruise usually heals by itself. A cold compress and pain killers may be used to ease discomfort. Heat can be applied to the injured spot to normalize the blood flow and dissolve the blood clot.
  7. A wound can lead to complications like bacterial infections or the healing might be delayed by chronic diseases like diabetes. In case of a bruise, it usually does not cause complications but if there's a blunt injury to sensitive areas like the head, the tailbone or the eyes, medical attention is advised.
  8. Wounds and bruises can also be differentiated on the basis of their subtypes.

The different types of wounds are:

  • Incision (sharp objects cutting the dermis layer of skin)
  • Abrasion (the epithelial tissue is scraped off)
  • Avulsion (a body structure is torn off)
  • Penetration (a sharp object causes an entry and an exit wound)
  • Puncture (only an entry wound caused by a sharp object)

The different types of bruises are:

  • Hematoma (blood pools under the skin)
  • Purpura (tiny spots of blood on the inside of the mouth)
  • Contusion (similar to hematoma and caused by external trauma)
  • Crush injury (caused due to a large amount of force on the body part for a long time)
