I am 30 yrs old female, since few months my body skin i. E. Forearms, legs and neck area is drying and wrinkles are forming. What can I do to get back healthy, moisture intact and wrinkle free skin? is this due to lack of essential vitamins required in healing of skin cells?

Improve your diet and exercise for circulation. Your diet must include fresh fruits and a full serving of salads at every meal: cucumber, tomato, carrot, radish, onion slices or spring onion, raw cauliflower, cabbage leaf, etc. All this is essential to give you a balanced nutrient boost. Cut out any junk food and aerated drinks totally. Generally foods that come out of a packet, or can, or bottle shud be avoided. Exercise to increase circulation:- 2 mins of hard exercise then 1 min rest - do this four times a day. You can either do it all in one go or split it into sessions through the day. In total it is only 12 mins a day so should not be a big issue. A very useful exercise is to jump in one place simulating skipping. Build up your time to 2 mins. Of jumping. In conclusion, live and eat healthy and you will develop energy, a glowing skin and a healthy'go' in life -regardless of age. Request for meds.

Hi, I lost my virginity on 5th of this August. And my periods were due on 29th August but I missed the date. My menstrual cycle is of 35 days. We took protection every time and I also took a pregnancy test in case but it turned out to be negative. Please guide me, is there any reason to worry about the delayed periods. Is it normal?

Its normal. If you took proper protection there is no chances of pregnancy. But date may be change or irregular due to mental stress tensions etc or pcod or thyroid abnormalities etc. U should exclude all of these.

My problem is different, I am 21 years old. My face very oily, pimples and black spots. Plzs help?

MBBS, DNB (Dermatology)
Dermatologist, Mumbai
Oily skin is a common cosmetic problem that is characterized by medium to large-sized pores, a shiny appearance, especially around the area of the nose, chin, and forehead, and a tendency to develop blemishes and blackheads. Stress, medications, hormones, incorrect products and changes in seasons can rob skin of needed moisture, causing it to produce a surge of oil to compensate for what’s lacking; overuse of products including make-up which is not suitable for your skin type, and sun tan can injure skin and cause it to produce excess oil. Skin always reacts in the opposite way to the way we want it to: the more vigorously you attempt to remove the sebum, the more skin will produce oil to replace it. There are various chemical peels available which helps in cleaning the pores from within and it is always advisable to get peels done from a well-qualified dermatologist only. You can consult on private chat for further queries.

General Physician,
Stress can cause hair loss but hair loss caused by stress is rarely permanent. Whether stress speeds up the process of hereditary baldness is unknown. There is a form of hair loss that can be caused by severe stress called telogen effluvium, which interrupts the growth cycle of your hair follicles causing hair to shed.Use essential oils combined with a scalp massage. ... Use egg oil (eyova). ... Restore moisture through hot oil treatments. ... Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, onion juice, or ginger juice. ... Rub rangoli henna into your hair. ... Rub green tea into your hair.

Lighten Your Dark Underarms Naturally

Lighten Your Dark Underarms Naturally
Lighten your dark underarms naturally

Lemon

Lemon is a natural cleanser and it has anti-septic and anti-bacterial properties. The acidic properties of the lemon helps to lighten your skin and also removes dead skin cells. Take a slice of freshly cut lemon and rub it on the underarms daily before taking bath. Apply some moisturizer after bath because lemon can cause skin dryness. Another option is, make a paste by adding 2 teaspoons of turmeric to lemon juice. Apply this paste to your underarms and leave it on for 10 minutes, then wash it off with water. - see more at: http://www. Dailyhealthgen. Com/2014/11/how-to-get-rid-of-dark-underarms-fast. I have a lot of pimples in my face. But I drink water 4 to 5 liter per day and also clear my stomach in the morning. What can I do now?

MD - Skin,VD & Lepxsy
Dermatologist, Hyderabad
Pimples occur mainly due to hormonal imbalances which causes an overproduction of oil and cells inside a skin follicle. They block the opening of the skin pore and cause the follicle under the skin to swell and become red. It usually starts in teenage, but most of the time lasts into adulthood. Pimples can’t be cured, but it can be controlled with treatment. There are many over the counter medications available in pharmacy but you need to use skin products which are most suitable to your skin. Avoid taking anti-acne medications without knowing a skin type. Contact a dermatologist in your area to know your the cause of your pimples and let them advise you the medications and skin products most suitable to your skin for remarkable results. Treatment of acne includes medicines to reduce the outgrowths, use of skin products such as face wash, cleansers, moisturisers according to your skin type and a whole range of aesthetic procedures like peels, laser therapy to reduce the current outbreaks and clean the skin, extract blackheads and whiteheads and clean clogged pores. They are safe and do not harm your skin in a long run. To know more about which cosmetic procedure is best for your skin type, contact your nearest dermatologist today.

Regular massaging the scalp for a few minutes every day with lukewarm oil will lead to stimulation of blood flow to the scalp. Coconut oil helps in controlling hail fall. Other recommended oils are: Jojoba oil, almond oil, mustard oil, lavender oil. Jojoba oil is especially good because it replaces the sebum in the scalp. It also helps to control dandruff.

I smoke over 1 years and now lips are get black. What I have to do make them again proper?

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello, Healthy pink lips add extra charm to a person's face. These naturally appealing lips don't need regular application of lips balms or lipsticks to look luscious and healthy. But several factors like the sun’s UV rays, smoking, caffeine and age can affect our lips and darken them. There are several natural solutions to lighten darker lips. Here is a list of natural home remedies that can lighten dark lips. 1. Sugar Scrub Take sugar and use it like a scrub. This will remove the darkness and dead skin from your lips and provide your lips a pink colour. Repeat this daily in order to get rid of black lips. 2. Beet Root Juice Apply 2-3 drops of beetroot juice and massage your lips. Beet root will make your lips pinker, giving them a luscious look. 3. Olive Oil Rub 1 or 2 drops of olive oil on your lips. This will reduce the darkness and moisturise your lips. 4. Lemon Juice

Which face wash did you use. It might not be suitable for your skin. Try this - use tea tree face wash and toner twice daily. Use aha glow face wash once in a day. Use sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of multani mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- do not eat junk, eat more vegetables and fruits especially with vitamin c.
