I am a 26 year old male. I have 7.4 mm and other multiple size Kidney stones and get pain couple of times in a month. Recently I am getting some itching sensation, Painful urination and Discharge from my penis? May I know the reason of this? Is this a high risk?

I am a 26 year old male. I have 7.4 mm and other multiple size Kidney stones and get pain couple of times in a month....
Answer to your first question is: all your symptoms are because of the stones and the recurrent infection caused by it. The second question is very crucial and you should not take it lightly... stones causes recurrent infection and can cause kidney injury which may ultimately turn into renal failure. The stones upto 10 mm can easily be removed by homeopathic medicines and it also stops recurrence. consult for further management

To reduce extra body fat do regular exercise like push ups, plank, yoga etc. Eat small amount of food frequently. Do not skip meals. Take 5-6 times small amount of food. Take unrefined foods. Use watery vegetables, fruits. Extra protein like fish, egg, lean meat etc will help you. Use lukewarm water. Drink plenty of water specially before meals.

Hi. I am a 28 year old female. My question is about my menstrual cycles. I started menstruating at age of 12 or 13. And my cycles have been regular since (vary from 28 to 30 day cycle). And it didn't use to be as painful as it is now. I used to feel weakness and fatigue and an obvious discomfort but that's it. Now, for past 3-4 years, I experience serious back-ache, stomach cramps and pain in legs. Also, Extreme weakness in body. It hinders my from doing even the most basic work during first three days. Should I be worried? And, what is the cause of this sudden change in pain pattern of periods? Can I do something so it doesn't pain that much every time rather than pain killers or temporary home remedies Note: I am not sexually active amd periods have been regular (varying from 28-30 days each month) Also, sometimes flow of blood decreases compared to previous cycles but I try to regulate it with maintain a proper diet and also taking ajwain (that helps).

Kindly get an ultrasound done. It may be a case of fibroids or PID (pelvic inflammatory disorder) or PCOD (Poly cystic ovarian Disorder ). These diseases are very common nowadays. In case nothing comes up in the report. Thank God. And Take Magnesia Phos 6x (Homeopathic) 2 tabs in 1/4th cup hot water thrice daily premeals, during the periods. N.B. Don't consume ajwain daily. It becomes habitual and disrupts the natural functioning of intestines if consumed for a long time everyday. Rather start using honey, twospoonfuls in 1/2 cup Normal water everymorning empty stomach.

Hi I am 20 yo female. I do not have any sexual contact with anyone. I am non reactive with RPR screening but reactive with TPHA assay. Do I have syphilis?

MD-Ayurveda, Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine & Surgery (BAMS)
Sexologist, Dehradun
Hello- Syphilis is spread (transmitted) through close skin-to-skin contact with an infected area. You can catch syphilis by having oral, vaginal or anal sex with a person who is in the first two stages of the infection. Since you are not sexually active, it might be possible that the TPHA came reactive due to a faulty lab test. Repeat it from any other lab, I am sure it will come non -reactive this time.

Hi, first you need to dokegels exercise, it will help you out. In this exercise you try to pull your private parts inwards while deep breathing. This should help you. If this doesn't work then you can go for minor surgery like posterior colporrhaphy. All the best!

Mr. Lybrate-user, acid reflux is a functional disorder. Though many theories are there for its cause but still no cause has been established thoroughly. I would advise you for the following: 1. Do not stay empty stomach for long durations, have small meals at small intervals. 2. Exercise daily and take small amounts of protein foods/drinks. 3. Have lots of fruits and vegetables, provided fruits do not aggravate your problems. 4. Have meal two hours before the bed time and do not take drinks like tea or coffee before going to bed. 5. Do not over consume liquor, though you can have small amounts but not empty stomach. 6. Proper sleep is must. 7. Do not over stress yourself with work or family issues, feel confident that you can manage any situation and things are well in control. Planning is good but expectations before any task are bad because they give disappointments, just plan and act and do not believe in result until and unless you get it as desired. 8. Spicy fried and fat foods are not good for you. 9. Avoid much of bakery items and fast foods. 10. You should begin some stress buster activity like cycling, swimming, cooking, short vaccations on weekends, free time with friends and family. All these things will help you in tackling your problem, but you shall follow these advises for a few months, because it takes time to change habits. Hope for you a speedy recovery.
