I got sutured on my chin due to injury 3 months back. Now that area is quite uneven and little swelling there. As the doctor said sutures has not done correctly. Sutures got overlapped. What should I do now to make the skin even.

Hello lybrate-user. You may need to take cosmetic surgery. But it is not that urgent. If you give it a proper time then the skin will become even in time. But don't expect it to be in a month.

MD - Internal Medicine
Internal Medicine Specialist, Mumbai
Hi, to prevent migraine attacks following measures must be used. 1) avoid triggers. If certain foods or odors seem to have triggered your migraines in the past, avoid them. 2) establish a daily routine with regular sleep patterns and regular meals. In addition, try to control stress. 3) regular aerobic exercise reduces tension and can help prevent migraines. 4) obesity is also thought to be a factor in migraine headaches, and regular exercise can help you maintain a healthy weight or lose weight. 5) migraines and estrogen seems to trigger or make your headaches worse, you may want to avoid or reduce the medications you take that contain estrogen which include birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy. You will also benefit for medical therapy if having recurrent migraine attacks. Follow these prevention regimen tips

We have taken 5 injections of Adfrar drug in last 3 months as prescribed by our doctor for my mother who is suffering from chronic rheumatic arthritics. Suddenly her pain is again revived in her body as before when she wasn't taking any injection. My query is that is this injection helpful as temporary relief and as we stop taking it the pain will come back as before as per Injection cost is approx 12k and considering the affordability factor and pain coming back as soon we stop take injection means is it a kind of pain killer only or shall we switch to some other treatment which is more effective Request for a prompt reply.

It is called as Rheumatic arthritis. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Wear elbow brace and wrist brace which will make her to feel warm and that will make the joints become firm. Hot water fermentation will help Knee cap will also help to prevent the damaged cartilages. If your pain is more in the distal joints, ie. In the upper limbs if the pain is present in the fingers/wrist and in the lower limbs it the pain is present in the toes/ ankle, then we shall definitely say it is Rheumatic arthritis. Which joints you have pain? If your proximal joints (ie. Shoulder, hip & knee has pain) then you can pour hot (warm) water in that area to reduce the inflammation. If you have pain in the distal joints ie. Wrist, fingers, ankle, toes then you can wear either elbow brace or wrist brace which will help you to feel warm and very protective. And also immerse the distal joints in the hot water tub which will help you to reduce the pain. Consult the near by physiotherapy clinic and also consult a general physician to check with your ESR levels to check whether you have inflammation The sound what you hear is called as Crepitus /ˈkrɛpɪtəs/ (also termed crepitation) is a medical term to describe the grating, crackling or popping sounds and sensations experienced under the skin and joints or a crackling sensation due to the presence of air in the subcutaneous tissue. Popping Knees and Crackling Knuckles. Occasionally hearing pops, snaps, and crackles when you bend your knees doesn’t necessarily mean you have arthritis. The kneecap (patella) is the small, convex bone that sits at the front of the knee, shielding the joint. You can take Ultrasonic therapy in one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics which would help to heal the damaged cartilages along with shortwave diathermy which would help to improve the blood circulation. Ice therapy would definitely help to reduce the inflammation.

Only intercourse after last normal usual period can lead to pregnancy. So if 19/1 period was as usual and normal and had no intercourse after 19/1 then no chance of pregnancy.

Mustard seeds are found to have certain antibacterial properties that will be effective in treating loose stools. • Add ¼ teaspoon of mustard seeds in a tablespoon of water. Keep it there for one hour. • Now drink this water like you take a regular oral tonic. • Repeat it for two to three times a day to get rid of loose stools.

What you seem to have is called hypersexuality disorder. It is more of a psychological problem. Get treatment from a reliable doctor, or it will worsen your problems.

You can reduce marks at home with - Turmeric is good ingredient for skin. Make a facepack with mixture of turmeric and milk. Apply this and wash off after an hour with cold water for glowing skin. Lemon juice and glycerin work nicely for dry skin whereas fuller’s earth and turmeric are used for oily skin. Take one tomato, grate it well and mix it with 3-4 drops of lime juice. Apply it on your face wait for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat it daily and feel the change on your face. Soak 4-5 almonds in milk overnight. In the morning make a paste of them and apply it on your face and rinse it off after an hour or two. You will definitely feel the glow on your face in less then 15 days. (you can add honey, oats and yogurt for quicker results) Prepare a fine paste of ripe papaya, oatmeal powder, milk cream and honey. Cover your face with this paste for 15 minutes. Wash it off with water. Apply buttermilk to skin, keep for 10 minutes and then wash off thoroughly for softening, cleansing and radiating effect.

Hello. The following exercises will help you in reducing the fat and toning up muscles of hips: -Put squats into your routine. This exercise primarily targets your thighs and butt, but also works the hamstrings and lower back. Make sure to warm up beforehand. -Lunges are another fantastic exercise for your bottom half. There are a bunch of different varieties (side, reverse, etc.), so constantly change it up. -Since fat is the culprit to a big butt, cardio is the quickest answer to blasting it away. Running, swimming, boxing, or cycling will burn the most calories for your minute. -Eat balanced and healthy food -Avoid unhealthy, fatty, oily food. -Avoid sitting for long hours together at one place, keep moving in between.
