Do regular exercise. Stop eating junk and processed food. Take 2 banana with warm milk in the morning. Include protein rich food in your diet. Don't drink before and with meals. If you are non vegetarian include egg fish and chicken in your diet. Take frequent meals instead of 3 big meals. You can consult me privately online on Lybrate I will give you diet chart.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. For the black spot on your face, send a clear photo of the affected area with much details for proper diagnosis and proper treatment.

A friend of mine suffers from depression but refuses to meet a psychiatrist what should be done?
You can try talking to her about what is bothering her. Make her feel good about herself- encourage her to do things that she is good at. Help her be distracted from her negative thoughts, by keeping her busy in positive activities. At times she may find herself incapable of doing something, help her learn those skills. As a friend this is the support you can provide , rest she will have to work on her own thoughts and want & try to come out of her sad state.

I feel dizziness for last few days after taking bath, even though I use luke warm water. I feel little restlessness which last for half an hour. What could be the reason. Thanks.

If there is no associated hearing issues and dizziness occurs only during bathing with luke warm water, then it is due to caloric stimulation of inner ear due to warm water. You may take water precautions using cotton smeared with vaseline petroleum jelly as ear plug during bathing.

There is no rule that you will have to sacrifice on the non veg if you have to loose weight. Eating smartly is what matters. You can drink non veg soups,eat non veg but it has to be lean meat and skinless. Do not opt for anything deep fried choose anything boiled or baked. Include lots of veggies or salad in every meal.Drink 2.5-3 liters of water and exercise for an hour is compulsory.

Regular hot oil treatments is one the best and easiest ways to keep your hair smooth and well hydrated. The heat and saturation from the warm oil will relax the light wavy and curly pattern of your hair. For hot oil treatment, the best options are coconut, olive, almond or sesame oil. Slightly heat the oil you wish to use in a microwave for about 20 seconds. Apply the warm oil to your hair and massage your scalp for 15 to 20 minutes. Comb your hair thoroughly to evenly distribute the oil. It will also avoid breakage while washing your hair. Cover your hair with a hot wet towel for 30 to 40 minutes. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Gently comb your hair (use a wide-toothed comb not a brush) while it is still wet and allow it to air dry.

At your age, balanced diet, regular light exercises and good scheduled sleep avoiding smoking and alcohol or any other addictions if present routinely must suffice. But still if you insist some supplements can be prescribed. I want you to try the above said for a week or so, and then you can have a follow up here if you feel like having some. Regards.

This seems like a feeling than actual problem of frequent urination. So no need to worry since you had consulted urologist. Do some exercises everyday for half an hour or some Yoga methods. Check for any recent stress which goes unattended. Your worry is what matters .Try to get away fro it with the right information that you do not have a serious physical problem with urine.

It is okay to trim unwanted hair from private parts. Make a mixture of argan oil, jojoba oil, sesame oil and olive oil and massage your beard and moustache daily to grow and maintain black and smooth hair.

One powerful way to build confidence is by practicing self-compassion. “Self-compassion means we have our own best interests at heart,” Welford said. “We learn to support ourselves in the same way that we would support a friend or relative.” But this might sound utterly impossible to you, especially if you’re more used to beating yourself up. Many of us treat ourselves like the enemy. We regularly judge, criticize and condemn ourselves. Fortunately, self-compassion can be learned. Here’s how. Self-Compassionate Techniques There are many exercises for practicing self-compassion. “We are all different and what is important is to find something that works for you,” Welford said. Here are several techniques to try. 1. Write a compassionate letter to yourself. When doing this exercise, Welford shares several guidelines in her book, including: Validate your feelings and the reasons you’re struggling; remember that millions of people struggle with their self-confidence; remember that everyone struggles, in general (it simply means being human); and try to be understanding, accepting and nonjudgmental. Write a supportive letter to yourself from the perspective of a compassionate person (someone who has your best interests and well-being at heart). You can start the letter with this sentence: “I am sorry that you are having a difficult time at the moment and are struggling to build your self-confidence.” Another option is to “write a letter to yourself from an older, wiser, compassionate you. What would you say to yourself now, and what would a compassionate future look like?” Welford writes. 2. Focus on your well-being. For Welford this exercise is most helpful. First, she engages in “soothing breathing,” an exercise that “aims to bring calmness and a sense of inner warmth and well-being to the mind and body.” According to Welford, it involves: finding a place that’s distraction-free; sitting in a relaxed “yet alert posture;” and closing your eyes or lowering your gaze. “Rather than counting your inhalations and exhalations, let your body find a breathing rhythm that is soothing for it.” When your mind naturally wanders, gently bring it back to your practice. Then Welford asks herself: “What can I do for myself today that will make tomorrow a better day?” For instance, instead of mindlessly watching TV, she might go for a walk or call a friend. 3. Take action. As you build your self-confidence, what are your goals? What would you like to work on? Welford has worked with individuals who’ve set such goals as: meeting new people, speaking in public, asking for help, stopping needless apologizing, expressing their emotions to others and saying yes (or no). Once you have your goals, break them down into small, specific steps in increasing difficulty. Next, brainstorm how you can prepare for the situation, such as practicing soothing breathing and writing a compassionate letter to yourself; the obstacles that might come up; and how you’ll navigate those obstacles.

Increase thirst, increased frequency of urination are some initial symptoms of diabetes but it can vary from being completely asymptomatic to non specific symptoms like weakness, loss of weight, tingling in feet, dry mouth, blurry vision, burning during urination. You need to follow a healthy lifestyle to prevent such metabolic diseases. Type 1 usually occurs at younger age due to insulin deficiency and treated with insulin injections. Type 2 in adults and treated wid oral tablets. It can't be cured completely but you can keep it controlled by taking these precautions. Some types are hereditary.

Please note the following for your condition: The head should be massaged slowly with oil or shampoo while bathing or cleaning hairs resulting blood circulation becomes fast and the skin of the head is protected from dryness. Shampoo should be used only two times a week. Hairs should be washed with curd for removing dandruff. Spicy or fried foodstuffs should not be eaten. Excessive cream or jell should not be applied on hairs. For further queries get back to me.
