Before advent of MRI & ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY these patients were treated with medicines Plaster cast & physiotherapy with almost equally good results.

Follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Get cervical X ray AP and lateral done and review with reports Consult Physician for Further Management

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Ice his finger for 10 to 15 minutes at a time, once or twice an hour. Consider taking nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (nsaids) to relieve pain and reduce swelling.

The longest nerve in the body is the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve starts from the lower part of the spine, through your hip to the back of the leg. So when it is said sciatica, we refer to pain in this nerve. Since the nerve covers the spine, hip and leg, sciatic pain is felt in the areas through which it passes. The lower leg muscles and sensation in the legs, thighs and feet are controlled by this nerve.

Symptoms usually include:

  1. Pain that radiates from the lower back to the hip and to the leg
  2. Sharp, tingling, dull, constant or burning pain
  3. Loss of bladder or bowel control
  4. Sneezing or coughing increases pain
  5. Moving the leg gets difficult so usual activities like walking, sitting and standing become painful

Homeopathic remedies are easy and gentle on the body. Homeopathy aims to boost the body's immune system so it can fight all its weaknesses. The following remedies may prove to be useful:

  1. Ammonium Muriaticum: It is taken for chronic pain in the heel or for chronic backache or when straightening the knee gets difficult as hamstrings contract. It is also taken for limping.
  2. Bellis Perennis: In periosteum injuries, stiffness and deep aches in the spine Bellis Perennis is used. It is also used for tailbone injuries. It is also helpful for nerve pains during pregnancy.
  3. Calcarea Fluorica: If the vertebra degenerates after trauma to the spine, then Calcarea Fluorica can be useful.
  4. Cicuta: The worst back injuries with serious trauma and muscles spasms are treated with Cicuta.
  5. Hypericum: Hypericum is suggested for tailbone injuries, temporary paralysis, spinal concussions and for sharp pain that tingles and moves upwards.
  6. Rhus tox: If after lifting weights, overexerting muscles and exposure to anything wet, you feel tearing and burning pain, then Rhus tox is beneficial. Cramps that get better after heat application, but get worse after exposed to the cold are also treated with Rhus tox.
  7. Ruta: Stiffness and pain from back injuries, twisting the wrong way and bruises are prescribed with Ruta. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a doctor and ask a free question.

Trapezius muscle strain is commonly due to improper posture when driving or working on computer or mobile or use of improper pillow. Such pain can be relieved by simple measures at home. 1) Take rest for 1-2 days. 2) Simple analgesics like paracetamol or Ibuprofen to relieve pain 3) Application of ice pack helps in new onset pain in first 24 hrs. Later on application of warm pack will help. 4) Massage locally with analgesic cream 5) Perform neck stretches and trapezius muscle strengthening exercises once pain is decreased. 6) Follow good posture habits to avoid further increase in pain. Consult your doctor immediately if pain is persistent and progressive

Towel Hamstring Stretch Lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it.. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated Hamstring Stretch While sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds Repeat 3 times for each leg.

Lalit your weight is a little in excess in proportion to your height you require early morning exercises. Secondly surya namaskar exercise will surely help in all above aspects. As far as low blood pressure is concerned it requires no medicine. You should increase your daily fluid intake. So that you will feel fresl and energetic thanks.

Hello, constipation is a very common gastro intestinal problem. Constipation may causes flatulence, acidity, abdominal discomfort, swollen abdomen or pain abdomen, nausea vomiting etc. Following homoeopathic medicines are useful in treatment of constipation:- 1. Bio combination no. 04, 4 tablets at a time, three times a day, 15 min. After meals. 2. Bryonia 30, 3 drops, morning empty stomach for 7 days. 3. Nux vomica 30, 3 drops, after dinner at bed time for 7 days. 4. Take causticum 200, 5 drops, once in a week. Avoid the following foods that can cause constipation include: chocolate dairy products red meat bananas and caffeine tips to prevent constipation have more fibres in your diet. 25 to 30 grams of daily intake can prevent constipation. Fibres help retain water in the stools thus making them softer and easier to expel. Whole grain cereals and breads dried fruits, such as prunes and raisins popcorn, nuts, and seeds beans and legumes raw fruits and vegetables drink plenty of fluids, preferably water. 8 glasses a day will help. Have more if you are physically active. Prune (manukka) juice, and other fruit drinks are known to normalise bowel motility.
