There is in ayurveda mention pinda swed. It is a type of swedan karma [phomentation] but it do some another manner. 1. Boiled a rice in milk then take this rice in one white cloth then tied it properly and warmly it rub on your face every morning for 15 days then stop it and do next month again 2. Apply almond oil on your face and massage for 3-5 min at night. By doing above thing you will get good result.

This is why it is important to eat correctly, while keeping track of your daily activities. Listed below are some simple and effective tips to gain weight. Put together a schedule Like most other things, it is essential to put together a detailed and achievable schedule that will help you gain the numbers you want. For this you will need to measure the different parts of your body like thighs, waist, hips, stomach etc. So that you can keep track of your progress. Along with keeping a track of your measurements, it is also necessary to keep track of the foods you consume and the kind of exercise that you might have to indulge in to help pile on the pounds. Do let me know if you also have blackheads with pimples? and what current medications and remedies you already tried to treat acne? acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e or any self prescribed preparations on scars or pimples. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. Hi, please, follow the under noted norms to get desired result. Go for a brisk walk in d morning to restore your blood supply and to regulate metabolism to reduce your fats cells. Go, for metabolism to nourish cells & tissues to reduce fats cells. Go for cycling, jogging, skipping, swimming to reduce accumulated fats. Take, oats and green tea in d breakfast. You have pcod problem. I advise you to do physical exercise, take more proteins and less of fats and carbohydrates. Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. Avoid non veg and eggs.

Hye. Thank you for your query. Firstly you need to have a balanced diet. Pre/post practice meals are very important. Also you need to see that you do not practice on empty stomach or after a heavy meal. Keep hydrated, before during and post workout. In the summers you must take care to see that you at least have fruits before practice and drink some lime water intermittently during and after practice. The protein and carb intake can be assessed depending on the type and intensity of workout.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

I strongly recommended start ayurveda, as alopathy only subsides. Actualy ashthama is a vata domient disease. In monsoon it may b increses. You have not given detail history & symptoms. Bt main treatment mentioned in our ancient text are mild purgation, massage, steam & oraly medication. Stop causative factor like curd, day sleep, over eating, to eat without hunger, excess drinking water, sweety, salty & sour food. I am suggesting you 3 things 1) drink only half boiled water. Dont take unboiled water 2) ginger + turmeric- 2 2 teaspoon with old honey, before food 30 min 3) bishopweed seed+ cummin seed 2 2 spoon, whole seed after breakfast n each meal. Give follow up.

I am 49 yr old male dm2 + htn since 10 yrs. Pressure normal 130/ 80 with medication repace 25mg + stamlo (amlodipine) 2.5mg and blood glucose control pp 120 with zoryl 1mg at the time of break fast but fasting readings vary between 6.5 - 7.5. I take metformin extended release 1000mg after supper. But the fasting readings never fall below 6.5. I am sports enthusiast and play badminton thrice a week at expert level. With exercise in the evening the reading tend to rise as my intake goes up. Please advise me any long acting glucose control medicine for 24 hrs control well within 5.8. My hb1ac has always been well below 7.0 mostly remains 6.5. If hb1ac readings are well with in the range can ignore the fasting readings or is it equally important to maintain the fasting reading below 5.8 to prevent cardiac issues later. I also take cholesterol lowering drug fibator - half tab to maintain my ldl well below 80. Should you need any further details please write to me. Last but not the least use of sulfonylurea antidiabetic drug in the morning some cause hypo close to lunch time. I am worried of the side effects of this drug in long term. Kindly advise me alternate if any to this. My staple food is rice with daal, curry and curds. Pure veg

Looking at your details it appears your diabetes is in check. Slight high fasting is no problem. Nowadays hba1c level is looked at as guideline to assess control. You need not change anything. If pp levels go up can add voglibose 0.3 mg three times with each meal. Otherwise you are doing well. While playing if you feel levels are low always carry candy or gluco tabs.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).
