If you feel depressed, it's best to do something about it — depression doesn't just go away on its own. In addition to getting help from a doctor or therapist, here are 5 things you can do to feel better. 1. Exercise. Take a 15- to 30-minute brisk walk every day — or dance, jog, or bike if you prefer. People who are depressed may not feel much like being active. In addition to getting aerobic exercise, some yoga poses can help relieve feelings of depression. Two other aspects of yoga — breathing exercises and meditation — can also help people with depression feel better. 2. Nurture yourself with good nutrition. Depression can affect appetite. One person may not feel like eating at all, but another might overeat.. Proper nutrition can influence a person's mood and energy. So eat plenty of fruits and vegetables and get regular meals (even if you don't feel hungry, try to eat something light, like a piece of fruit, to keep you going). 3. Identify troubles, but don't dwell on them. Try to identify any situations that have contributed to your depression. When you know what's got you feeling blue and why, talk about it with a caring friend. Talking is a way to release the feelings and to receive some understanding. 4. Express yourself. With depression, a person's creativity and sense of fun may seem blocked. Exercise your imagination (painting, drawing, doodling, sewing, writing, dancing, composing music, etc.) and you not only get those creative juices flowing, you also loosen up some positive emotions. Take time to play with a friend or a pet, or do something fun for yourself. Find something to laugh about — a funny movie, perhaps. Laughter helps lighten your mood. 5. Try to notice good things. Depression affects a person's thoughts, making everything seem dismal, negative, and hopeless. If depression has you noticing only the negative, make an effort to notice the good things in life. Try to notice one thing, then try to think of one more. Consider your strengths, gifts, or blessings. Most of all, don't forget to be patient with yourself. Depression takes time to heal. You can use multani mitti as a face pack, at least twice a week. Wash 4-5 times your face with plain cold water in a day. Take less oily diet and avoid much sun light exposure. These can somewhat increase your skin tone. For much effective treatment by medication you can consult me.

What is the reason for your knee stiffness? you might be having knee arthritis which is causing cramps in your leg. Another possibility is deep vein thrombosis. I recommend that you get yourself thoroughly checked by an orthopedic surgeon. Hot bag and pain relieving gels can give you some relief.

HI…. A) Take 30 ml of khadirarishta before meals, B) take 1 tsf of haridra khand after meals, C) take 1 tablet of gandharwa-haritaki vati at night before sleep…do all these things for 15 days it gives you good result…THANKS.

I am 22 year old female. I am having lots of dark spots on face and back. What to do to remove dark spots?

Apply crushed mint leaves on the dark circles for about 20 minutes and then wash your face as usual. It is one of the most effective cure for under eye circles any queries ask me. Drink a glass of tomato juice with some mint leaves, lemon juice and salt daily to keep dark circles at bay.

I feel stressed and tired and lazy most of the time especially in the morning.
What to do? Please suggest.
1. Keep yourself hydrated. 2. Get extra rest for some days till you feel more energetic. 3. Avoid watching television for long hours. Indulge in relaxing activities. 4. Avoid stress and too much physical exertion. 5. Take a nutritious diet with more protein items in homemade food like soya, sprouts, dals, paneer, milk, seasonal fruits. 6. Do light physical activity, meditation and yoga. 7. Take one good multivitamin tablet after food for 7 days.

Hey. Actually when I go to toilet for potty. There some blood coming when stool is passing. And sometimes it's coming like liquid type. I think it's piles pls suggest me the best medicine also advise me the food I have avoid? Best Regards Sanjay Rawat.

Hello, You had sex in your safe period, however bleeding after coitus is mostly seen with cervicitis or cervical erosions and needs to be evaluated. Pregnancy is unlikely as you were protected throughout.

There is no risk of pregnancy since she had taken I pill. Delay in period could be due to the after effect of the I pill..Consult doctor for further advice

Girls do grow tall till age 21, eat a high protein diet with simple proteins like milk, curd, cheese, eggs, pulses,soy & assorted nuts. Cut down on sugar and salt, take other coarse carbs like wheat, bajra,maize & good fats like butter & pure ghee. do stretching exercises, swimming, skipping rope, badminton, simple walks & yoga for meditation.

Eat 100 gms sprouted and steamed matar or moong with curd in dinner. Eat some dal in the lunch. Eat some tofu or soya badi in lunch. Do not eat maida, sugar or fried foods. These things add calories without supplying protein. Therefore they works against your objective of gaining muscle.

What is facial pigmentation?

Facial pigmentation refers to the darkening of facial skin dueto overproduction of pigment melanin. Medically, this is known as melasma.

Melasma
In melasma, patches of pigmentation appear on the face, predominantly over the cheeks, nose, forehead and upper lip. The pigmentation varies from yellowish, brownish, bluish to blackish in colour. Chloasma is another term for facial pigmentation in women during pregnancy.

Freckles
Freckles or tiny dark spots appear on the face in certain cases from repeated sun exposure. Freckles are more likely in persons with fair skin.

Why do we get facialpigmentation?

The root cause of facial pigmentation is excess melanin production. Facial pigmentation is very common in women, but may also arise in men. 

The causal factors are many, the major among them being hormonal changes in women during pregnancy, after childbirth, during menopause, from intake of contraceptive pills, from hormone replacement therapy and hypothyroidism. 

Other factors that trigger facial pigmentation are stress, loss of sleep and sunexposure. Heredity also plays an important role in predisposing a person to facial pigmentation. Acne may also lead to scarring and facial pigmentation.

I have regular problem of teeth.My teeth are deteriorating or i can say gradually breaking the teeth wall and i have multiple cavities.Is there any way i can avoid all these. In upper jaw i have 3 teeth are criss cross.So for that what is suggestible. I have consulted 2-3 times . They suggested i should go for orthodentic treatment. Please suggest.

First off all a picture of your teeth will revel many things.But without seeing your teeth I can only tell you to keep cleaning n get cavities filled bcz I can't comment blindly on ortho treatment without having seen teeth photographs
