Hello this happens because muscles get tired when we stare atsometing. Moreover the cornea gets dried which sens signal to brain to blink and blinking again cause movement of eye ball.

There is no medication or food for improving eyesight or to get rid of glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 20 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. As you are not comfortable with contact lens then go for lasik. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik.

Hello lybrate-user. You could use genteal eye gel for your eyes. Use it 4-5 times in a day. After putting it, keep your eyes closed for a minimum 10 minutes. This will give the much needed soothing effect to your eyes. Hope my suggestions helped you.

Hello, get your eyes tested from an opthalmologist. Include the following for getting better vision: vitamins a, c, e, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. Dha is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like salmon, sardines and mackerel. Exercises for strengthening eye muscles: -begin by partially closing your eyes; the lids should only be halfway shut. After holding for 10-15 seconds, close your eyes very slowly. Take a few deep breaths to increase oxygen in the blood. -warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times. -hold a pen at arm's length. Focus your gaze on the tip of the pen. Bring the pen closer to your nose at a slow and steady pace. Repeat this exercise 5-10 times. -concentrate your vision on the tip of your nose. Then shift your gaze to an object further away, either at arm's length or 20 feet away. Then shift your eyes back to the tip of your nose. Repeat this exercise 10 times. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Begin by look to the left-most position (without moving your head) and hold to stretch your eye muscles. Hold for 5 counts. Blink and return your gaze back to look straight in front of you. Then look to the right-most position with your gaze and hold for 5 counts. Repeat 3 times, blinking between each hold. Then, repeat this exercise looking up and then down. Do not forget about blinking. -sit in a relaxed but upright position. Look up and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look up to and to your left for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your right for 5 seconds. Return your gaze to center. Look down and to your left for 5 seconds. -one helpful way to do this is to imagine that you are looking at the number 12 on a clock. Then, follow the numbers around the clock with your eyes. Repeat going the other way around the clock. Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night. Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing first and then reducing the power of your eyes (if the eye power is less). Take physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month and instill euphrasia eye drops twice a day. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

There are several things you can do to prevent a cold. they are all easy. -Always wash your hands after coughing or sneezing into your hands, blowing your nose, after touching someone who is sick, or when using public restrooms or telephones. -Cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough. -Get plenty of rest/sleep.staying at home will keep you from spreading germs.Avoid people who have a cold or cold symptoms. -Drink plenty of fluids(veg/tomato soups,dal water/coconut water/herbal tea etc), and eat nutritious food(like sprouts/boiled eggs without yolk with milk). Avoid foods or drinks with caffeine which can impair your sleep -Treatment:A cold usually lasts for a week or two. Unless you develop complications, you shouldn't need medical treatment. -Complications like infections of the ears, throat, sinuses or lungs must be treated with antibiotics. -Gargle to keep from getting a sore throat. -Use saline nasal sprays or nasal irrigation. -Tablet nasorest-p once/twice daily may ease breathing. -Do steam inhalation once or twice daily

could be due to allergy. allergy can be controlled easily using eye drops. But there are many eye drops and specific eye drops can only be prescribed after seeing the eye clinically as treatment depends on severity. also dip a handkerchief in little cold water and keep over closed eyes.. you will feel better

Never think negatives. Divert yourself towards the service of your grand mother. Go and ask her what do I do for you. She must bless you livlong. Then you feel better and your guilty mind get change in mercy. You may learn meditation from any meditation teachers and practice daily two times regular. It will open the door of your destiny through awakening of your consciousness. Go to morning walk every day before sunrises and practice exercise and yoga every day.

I am Radha aged 38. I am prescribed to take melmet SR 500 morning and evening from Feb. This month when I started checking sugar levels after food (with exercise), I could see that I get: 154, 151, 160 (evenings) Fasting is 101, 114 Could you please suggest if it is high or I need to meet my endocrinologist and get the dosage increased. The reported blood sugar levels are good. Ideally when in control fasting should be around 100 mg and pp between 150 to 160 mg and hba1c%<7. Hence there is no need for adding any drug or increasing the dose. Cocentrate on exercise and restricted diet, that should help.

Eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: • Eye dryness • Too much sun exposure • Dust or other particles in the eye • Allergies • Infection • Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. These may be due to: • Blepharitis: Swelling along the edge of the eyelid. • Conjunctivitis: Swelling or infection of the clear tissue that lines the eyelids and covers the surface of the eye (the conjunctiva). This is often referred to as "pink eye." • Corneal ulcers: Sores on the cornea most often caused by a serious bacterial or viral infection. • Uveitis: Inflammation of the uvea, which includes the iris, ciliary body, and choroid. The cause is most often not known. It may be related to an autoimmune disorder, infection, or exposure to toxins. The type of uveitis that causes the worst red eye is called iritis, in which only the iris is inflamed. No treatment for floaters need to ignore them they occur because of liquefication and degeneration of jelly of eye called vitreous. Usually age related after 50 years, earlier in some patients especially those having glasses, commonly myopes. Important thing to get your retina checked up on 6 monthly basis as these patients have weak retina and you need to watch out for danger signs like decrease in vision sudden increase in flashes or floaters, else just a 6 monthly follow up and retina check sufficient.

These lenses are lifelong no, you don't require same surgery again but in case of trauma or some other eye problem then your mother might require some treatment or surgery.

Hello lybrate-user. -6 power would classify as moderate to high myopia. This refractive error, unfortunately cannot be rectified naturally. As you would know, there are techniques in refractive surgery (lasik, etc) that can be used to rectify glasses power. In fact, I would suggest a few techniques that would help in strengthening the eye on the whole (though your power would not be rectified by these techniques) (1) rich antioxidant diet would help you to keep the retina strong. (2) avoid rubbing your eyes excessively (3) wear protective eye cover while traveling in dusty environment, etc. (4) avoid tobacco consumption (smoking, chewing, etc.) (5) wash your eyes 3-4 times daily with clean hands and clean water. (6) take frequent breaks while using the computer/ viewing television. Thus, to be honest with you, it would not be possible to rectify your eye power (-6) naturally.
