Dear lybrate-user PCOS is a problem where the ovaries single or both donot release ovum and the ovary is filled with small cysts, until the cysts resolve the problem hormonal imbalances will be there, there is fluctuations in almost all harmones related to female along with pancreas, and Androgen harmonies, hence early diagnosis and treatment helps in infertility also.

There are various dangers of smoking. 1) Worsening of lung function over a period of time leading to COPD. 2) Increased of lung cancer and other cancers like oral cancer, laryngeal CA. Etc 3) Increased rate of atherosclerosis and it's related complications like stroke (लकवा) and heart attack. These risks start decreasing the day you stop smoking. Repeat test after stoping smoking. For cholesterol stop high fat diet like butter ghee and start exercising. That should be enough.

The first thing you have to do is to develop a positive attitude towards your goal. You need to understand that transforming your physique is going to take a lot of time. These things don't work that easily. It's going to take a lot of hard work and consistency. 1.Start exercising. Start working out if you are not active. Begin with body weight exercises like push up, pull up and squats. Weight training proves to be really helpful if you want to gain good quality weight. Train each body part twice a week. For example: Monday/Thursday: Chest + Triceps Tuesday/Friday: Back + Biceps Wednesday/Saturday: Legs + Shoulders Don't forget to warm up for at least 10 - 15 minutes. Warm up includes jumping, rope skipping, treadmill, cycling, stair climbing, etc. 2.Eat Healthy. Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food and any form of sugar. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 2 - 3 hours. Some of the recommended food items are boiled chicken and eggs, brown rice, brown bread, peanut butter, olive oil (extra virgin), green tea, dry fruits etc. 3.Consume good amount of fruits and vegetables. Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. 4.Eat whole grains. Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats are best sources of healthy carbohydrates but do not include these items in your dinner. 5.Increase protein intake. Protein proves to be the most essential nutrient when it comes down to gaining strength or building muscle. Therefore, consume all types of protein from both veg and non veg food items. Boiled chicken and eggs are the best sources of fat free protein. Sprouts are also rich in protein. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain.

Please state your Sugar Test results clearly so that you can get proper advice from doc here. Fasting sugar. PP .HbA1c. Medicine you are taking Ideally your sugar level should be 70-99 on fasting. So 66 is below normal which is not good. It can mean medicine dosage is high OR your food intake is not regulated. Please give all details so that you can get correct advice. You can post in this itself or post on a new thread.

You might have a very high metabolism. You are lucky, don't we wish we could eat and not gain weight. If you want to gain weight, drink banana shake twice a day, eat protein rich foods. Eat more frequently, after every two hours, eat something. Lift weights.

Best way to reduce fat is exercise and diet control....take pranacharya medohar rasayn twice a day....medohar guggul 2-2 twice a day....and pranacharya slim capsule 1-1 twice a day...avoid junk food...oily food...fermented food..alcohol consumption..sugar....milk products and sweets....take oats and cereals more..and do pranayama early in the morning and walk for atleast 45 minutes a day...and do exercises....dont sleep immediately after taking meal...

Hello dear High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. GARLIC,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

Hi I am kamal 24 years old. Its been 3 years I am on medication. My doctor said you are suffering from social anixiety. The medician help me to keep calm and relax. But communication is my big problem. I am working with international bpo where I need excellent communication to handle the u. S. Clients. But I cannot think clearley I always face problem while speaking. My thought process suddenly stucks and I feel I dont have anything to speak. But there are days when I speak with great confidence and handle the clients in good manner. It suddenly changes to other side where I face the same problem which I described above. I really need to resolve it. This is the big issue in my life please advice. My medications are buprone 300xl. Buspin10 mg. Vitamin capsule and fludec 20 mg capsule. Please advise.

The big mistake you are making is that you are not also in therapy. All the issues you describe are exactly suitable to be sought from counseling support. You should have a review of the medication too anyway after you mention these symptoms. The combination of therapy and medication is ideal for a proper recovery. Please attend a personality development course that highlights the five-factorial approach: physical, emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual quotients. If you develop in these five areas, you will certainly improve your confidence. Some personality courses emphasize and focus on public speaking to a large extend. It is not too bad an idea but it is a little narrow in perspective. You could instead attend a toast masters club, which does the same thing in a more organized manner. Apart from regular and aerobic exercise, you must also visit a gym to build a good body image. You can go for personal grooming classes too. While regular vigorous exercise develops your body, the regimen will also enlarge your heart and help you handle stressful situations much more competently than others who don? t exercise. Dress well, eat well, sleep well and conduct yourself well in social circles to build confidence. Perform well in your work, and feel good about your achievements. You could also go for hypnosis sessions to build your self-image from within. In addition, indulge spiritual wellness, faith and prayer that will boost your confidence really well. Emotional wellness will take care of the fear factor, which is your big problem. There are lots of affirmations, if said three times at a time, everyday, they will gradually strengthen your concept of yourself and your confidence. Yoga and meditation will also build you up. Speaking to a counselor will give you personal assistance in pursuing these changes. If the change in mood fluctuates from extremes of low to euphoria, you must report this to the doctor, immediately. You are young and a lot can be done only if you cooperate and combine medication with therapy.

"For mild sore throat, try with salt water gargles using little warm water, taking care not to use too hot water, and take pain killer if required. If you are not ok in 1-2 days, consult back. Try sending picture of your throat. If you have fever, you may need additional medicines as well. If symptoms are severe, please consult an ENT Doctor immediately. Please see that it may be more beneficial if you add honey and salt to the gargle solution. Add 1 spoon of honey and half spoon of salt to half glass of water to make gargle solution. Also, if you are s smoker, you need to quit smoking and alcohol.

Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9 hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water/ bore water to wash the head rather use already boiled water or Drinking water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 3 months. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Beside this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin Folli Hair once daily for 3 months. Get back to me for further advice.

Sir my friend having hair problem. In the early age only he lost lot of his hair on the top of the head and scalp was clearly seen with few hairs. Sir /madam please suggest me what r the treatments and causes for this pre matured baldness. Is it related to hormones imbalance?

Hair fall may be attributed to different reasons like using artificial colors, hair styling, chemicals etc. It may be due to some internal weakness also. Please go for herbal neem shampoo. Use shikakai and amla as conditioner (soak amla and shikakai in water overnight and boil a little in morning). Apply it on hairs. Keep for half an hour and then wash. It will condition the hairs.

Follow these home remedies 1. Apply a few drops of warm almond oil to your eyes and massage gently with your fingertips for five minutes at bedtime 2. Make a thin paste of rose water, sandal powder and white pumpkin juice. Apply this around the eyes and wash it off after ten minutes 3. Eat 1 bowl of fresh fruits daily and drink plenty of water.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.
