Dear Lybrate User, *Certain nutrients have powerful effect on your nervous system making it calmer. Calmer the mind more will be the weight. The best nutrients for this are vitamin D, calcium, magnesium and vitamin B6. For Vitamin D drink milk and take sun rays. Milk is again a great source of calcium along with yoghurt. Green leafy vegetables are good source of magnesium. *Do not consume products that are made from white flour and sugar as these may harm your body adversely *Eat banana three time a day followed by milk of curd. You can also make the banana shake in milk to gain weight. *Eat lots of fruit with milk. *Take milk and boil it with almonds, anjeer and date palm. It will hep you in gaining weight.

Is your hair loss accompanied with greying of hair and have they become very thin? your hair needs a very high protein well-rounded diet. Hair and nails are the last organs to get nutrition in the body, hence only if all the organs get sufficient nutrition and proteins, only then the remaining nutrition would be used for hairs. A strand of hair is composed of mostly protein, which means your hair needs protein to grow. Hence a therapeutic diet prescribed by a registered dietitian can help a lot in hair growth. Besides diet excessive stress, current/past dandruff and some medication are conclusively known to retard hair growth and promote hair loss. - cut down on the use of hair spray, hair gels, and styling creams that contain harsh chemical ingredients, which can dry out the scalp and cause the formation of flakes. Also harsh treatments such as perms, colours, relaxers etc take a toll on the health of your hair. - avoid changing your shampoo and conditioner constantly. Stick to one good mild cleansing shampoo for six months before changing. - excessive exposure to the sun, pollution, rain water and dust without proper protection makes the hair dry, brittle and limp. Use a live in conditioner during the rains to protect it from the humidity and wash and oil it regularly to maintain a healthy scalp. I may also prescribe medications like biotin or minox. That are proven to help in hair growth and repair.

Since she is afraid of pain during intercourse, it is natural for her to deny any sexual feelings. A woman rarely will voice her sexual feelings unless she is comfortable with her partner. Try avoiding coaxing her into sex. Let the relationship build ...try necking petting without demanding sexual intercourse. Once she starts trusting you, she will slowly open up.

Sir, I am 21 year old. My BMR and pressure is normal. But I am suffering anxiety and fearing prblm .I am always thinking that I am gonna heart attack. My ecg also normal. My chest having pain but if I concentrate in other things thn pain is gone. I am also having short breathing problem .Is it possible to come heart attack in this age. Pls help me sir.

I am very fat. I am doing exercise daily but did not see any change. What could I do now.

Dear. Follow these best tips to get in shape and loose weight. * body become over weight due to deposition of fatty tissues. First you should follow diet plan for weight loss. * in morning, take 2-3 chapattis witha bowl of cooked green vegetables. You can take a glass of without cream milk after 2 hour of breakfast. *in lunch you can take a bowl of soup or salad. *in evening, you can take a cup of teawith glucose biscuits. *in dinner, you can take a bowl of fruits or 2 chapattis with a bowl of vegetables. * work out for atleast 1 hour in morning, you can try skipping for 15minutes with a walk of 30 minutes and 5-10 minutes running. To reduce the tummy, * lie down on flat surface, raise your legs without bending your knees, do it for 3-5 times daily * lie down on plain surface, put your hands on the back of head by folding your elbows, now move your head towads the knees try to touch your knees with forehead and then move back and lie down. Repeat it for 5-10 times daily for flat tummy. * do surya namaskar yoga everyday, as surya namaskar have 12 forms of yoga. Do it for in morning everyday to get in shape in short period. * do not eat fastfoods and soft drinks, as they have high calories.

One of the main reasons for not getting proper sleep is that plans made during the day time or earlier, do not succeed and mind finds ways or speculates or wanders to find ways to make the the plans work. These mental speculations repeat in mind at time of sleeping. So, due to plans not working as the mind likes to, the mind remains in agitated state due to finding no way to solve mundane plans and thus leads to frustration which avoids mind to go into sleep mode. This leads to not getting proper sleep. One has to break one's self-centeredness to avoid the thoughts and frustrations entering into mind at time of sleep leading to improper sleep. The solution is to not intentionally think further about plans, but with faith surrender to the supreme and instead of thinking about the plans it is better to read a nice book, listen to nice music or talks which do not allow mind to get frustrated with mental speculations. Drinking cow's milk in night before sleep also should help. Hope this helps,

Increase your protein rich food stuff like soyabeen, cow peas, toffu, rajma, groundnut. This is a great method to increase your weight but if you are non vegetarian than you can take 2 whole egg and 40 gram chicken, mutton only in tanduri form.

*To control the oily secretion on your face you should maintain your hormonal level. Because imbalance in hormone level causes excessive oily secretion on face So do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging. Do long breathing pranayams daily for 10 minutes. • Drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. Apply rose water on your face daily for 5 minutes. * Take proper sleep of 6 to 7 hrs daily. • Use a face pack of fuller's earth (multani mitti) with rose water one time in a day for seven days. It removes toxins from skin. *You can apply cucumber juice or mixed with curd for 5 minutes and rinse with water.

If it is hereditary then it could be or if you have any health problem then it happens.Otherwise change your food habit.Eat more food more frequently.Do not skip meals.Take nuts,seeds whenever you like.Take dense fruits,vegetables.Extra protein foods will help you to gain weight.Add ghee,butter etc with foods.Add more healthy oil in cooking than before.Avoid smoking,alcohol.Avoid fast foods as far as possible.Drink lots of water but not just before or during meals.Do muscle building exercise to gain weight.These are common but for more details consult me privately on Lybrate.

Hi Lybrate user I suggest you some tips in Ayurveda. Use alovera gel mix with 5 drop Tulsi ark and apply 3 times in a day. Use herbal face wash (neem face wash) to risen dust from your face. Take medicine 1-rasmanikya 125 mg twice a day. 2-amalaki churna 1 gm twice a day. 3-tab nerocil 2 tab twice a day. 4-arogyvardhini vati 1 tab twice a day. Take all medicine after meal. Avoid: red meat, egg,red chili, sour things, powdered spices ,packed food. Follow this medication for 15 days and then consult me for further management. I have my last periods start on 10 nov and ended on 13 nov, I had unprotected sex on 14 nov, I tested on 8 dec and 9 dec for pregnancy by prega news, my next periods were due on 8 December but till now my periods are not starting, please suggest, I tested in the morning for better results.

Reduce your oil/ghee intake, reduce fried items and non-veg foods. Avoid starchy foods like potato, rice, etc. Increase your fiber intake by increasing your green leafy vegetables. Fish, flax seeds, citrus fruits, sprouts will all help in reducing your cholesterol.

Use Tea Tree face wash and Toner twice daily. Use Sunscreen with spf 30 daily. Use natural face pack of Multani Mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar with Mother for 5 mins after washing your face and splash it clean with water. Most important is diet- Do not eat Junk, Eat more Vegetables and fruits especially with Vitamin C. For dandruff: 1. Use amla (gooseberry) juice on scalp and also to drink. 2. Mix curry leaves with coconut oil and heat up and let it cool. Massage scalp with this oil. 3. Apply hair packs like Egg with Yogurt, Banana. 4. Have lots of green leafy vegetables and fruits rich in Vitamin C. 5. Protein is the most important element for maintaining hair health. Make sure your diet in protein rich sources like eggs, fish, chicken, soyabean, sprouts, pulses and grains 6. Zinc, iron & copper promote healthy hair. Hi, get your blood tested for cbc, hb%, s. Calcium, s. Ferritin and esr. Simple nutritional deficiency can cause general weakness of the body. Would advise you to take homoeopathic medicines - alfaalfa tonic and five phos. - both thrice daily, and let me know about your condition after a month. Management: daily intake more of healthy, nutritious and balanced food which includes green vegetables, seasonal fruits, salads, legumes, pulses, eggs, milk & milk products, oats, cornflakes, muesli, nuts, lean meat (chicken & few seafood), etc. Keep yourself well-hydrated by taking at least 10-12 glasses of water in a day, also increase intake of other fluids like coconut water, shikanji, jaljeera, gulkand, rooh-afza, lassi, curd, etc. Which has got cooling effect on the body during this hot summer weather. Sleep for 6-9 hrs at night and 1-2 hrs. During daytime. Avoid going out or playing under the sun, best time is after sunset. Wear a hat with broad brim, wear sunglasses whenever you are out in the sun. Don't awake late nights, follow motto of'early to bed, early to rise' avoid unnecessary exertion or stress. (need to probe in case there is no improvement seen).
