You can show him to vet, seems severe gastro intestinal trouble. Continous vomiting and diarrhea leads to dehydration

Is it safe and healthy to feed grains/deep-fried (savyien) to birds, routinely for birds' well-being?

MVSc
Veterinarian,
Don't give fried things to birds. U can give them raw or soaked in water. Rarely you can boil them and give.

We have one parrot. But from last 2 days he is not eating anything and also he is not opening his eyes all the time. And also he is not active now. Is there anything serious?

Hello, It might have been exposed to cold owing to present distressed condition. Give it the under noted homoeopathic medicine:@ Aconite nap 30-1 drop, thrice with water. Take care.

Sir my dog is not eating any thing after she given a baby so plzzz tell me wht should i do?

It could be due placental infection so feed her some chicken soup and glucose orally if she doesn't then show to vet

Our 5 years rabbit seems to b suffering with splayed front legs since a month and could not walk. Can you please suggest any treatment or vitamins or supplements wuld cure it?

MVSc
Veterinarian,
You can use pet joint or cool joint supplements, if your rabbit is below 5 kgs, you can give 1/4th tablet pet joint daily. It works good.

Leave it as free roaming. If hey like each other and time is perfect they mate. Or you need asst to do th eprocess.

I have a q regarding my dog's health. he is having vomiting since last 15 days. whatever he eats in next moment he throws out. I gave him digene 1 tbspun in a day as prescribed by his doc nd sporolac powder with food also. he is 2.5 years pomerenian. plz guide me what to do next to improve his health.

MVSc, BVSc
Veterinarian,
Please investigate. Vomiting may not a disease in itself, but a sign observed in many diseases. Vomiting (I'll call it as - Regurgitation) for 15 days shouldn't be taken lightly. To start with - you can get a chest and abdomen x ray done - to identify if there is any radio-opaque foreign body, and send blood sample to identify if there is any metabolic involvement. Hope this is helpful.

Is Kennel Cough Vaccine Really Necessary for Dogs?

B.V.Sc. & A.H., M.V.Sc.-Pathology

Is Kennel Cough Vaccine Really Necessary for Dogs?

Many animals receive “kennel cough” vaccines that include bordetella and cpi and cav-2 every 6 to 9 months without evidence that this frequency of vaccination is necessary or beneficial. In contrast, other dogs are never vaccinated for kennel cough and diseases are not seen. Cpi immunity lasts at least 3 years when given intranasally and cav -2 immunity lasts a minimum of 7 years parenterally for cav-i. These two virus in combination with bordetella bronchiseptica are the agents, which are often associated with kennel cough, however, other factors play an important role in diseases (eg. Stress, dust, humidity, molds, mycoplasma, etc.).

Thus, kennel cough is not a vaccine preventable disease because of the complex factors associated with this disease. Furthermore, this is often a mild to moderate self limiting disease. It's just like common cold in humans. A course of antibiotics usually is enough to treat the condition. I generally do not recommend kennel cough vaccines unless dogs are staying in a boarding facility that requires them.

Hello Doctors. My vet prescribed neurobion forte injection for my rabbit for 3 days who suffered from anorexia. After completing this treatment my bunny can feed small. How much days need to recover from this eating disorder?

MD - Homeopathy, BHMS
Homeopath, Vadodara
It may not recover if the treatment is not right... I don't think that it is because of the vitamin deficiency... better consult for homoeopathic treatment..
