Lybrate-user kidney diseases can be a cause of back pain. But more common cauces must be first ruled out. Secondly in kidney diseases you have a no of symptoms related to ypuir urinary system. So incase someone is having backache it necessarily dose not mean it is due to kidney problem.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

I got swelled when hit by anything, even small impact could make me swell and sometime even severe trauma couldn't. This swelling spread on the whole organ like getting hit on for head whole face get swelled. Is there any solution to this?

Kindly have blood tests like bt, ct & prothrombin time. Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movemely walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Pain in ankle is a common condition rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Do hot fomentation keep a pillow under the legs at night &/when resting. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do ankle/foot & toe exercises it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

Dear it seems you are suffering from stress fractures of tibia (leg bone). This is very common in young males who do race practice. So its better you do race practice under some trainer. That is first warm up ezercise for 10-20 minutes then gradual jogging and then sprint. Build up your race speed in 30-45 days. Dont try to run fast on day one.

Try putting hot packs to the painful area for 15 mins then do stretching exs for calf hamstring snd quadriceps muscles and then put ice for 15 mins also find the root cause pf pain. Sometimes its referred from the back. Physiotherapy can help. Good luck.

Hi, my father is 56 yrs old and has a polio leg (left leg) since childhood he have also had a surgery long back. Now he is having severe pain in walking n standing bt still he is able to walk n do all his work. One more surgery is suggested by the doctors so that he could be at ease. I want to knw if there is any other option or suggestions regarding the same.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Hello. We can't reverse the established pathology back, but we can control the process in the stage it is so that it wouldn't grow further. Apply Bakson’s Rheum Aid oil gently (2-3 times a day) and take orally Bakson’s Rheum-Aid syrup/ 1 tablespoon thrice daily. Also, increase your dietary intake of calcium which is present in green leafy vegetables, milk, milk products, sea food, white legumes, dried fig, black-eyed peas, almonds, oranges, seasame seeds. And vitamin D which is essential for absorption of calcium in our body and is synthesized naturally after getting exposed to sunlight, so early morning sunlight for 10-15min. 2-3 times a day is mandatory. Apart from this, do walk daily along with physiotherapy will also help you.

Hi = relax and stay positive. = increase fluid intake. = eat seasonal fruits for natural vitamins = do streching of hamstring, quadriceps, and calf muscles. = if you are overweight, reduce weight by cycling or swimming as it gives low impact on joints. = do check your calcium and vit. D = apply moist heat pad to affected joint and muscles. If still you dont get relief consult physiotherapist as there are various causes for leg/ joint pain and some test may be required for further investigation. Best wishes.

This could be the result of muscle soreness by performing the exercise. Try applying ice on the area for 10-15 min, this will help to improve the blood flow and also relax the spasm.
