Before talking about hair loss, we should understand about the hair cycle. HAir is always going under the 3 stages i.e anagen which is a growth phase, catagen which is a resting phase and the telogen which is a shading phase. In the anagen phase, hair is growing properly. In the resting phase, the growth will be stunted. And in the shading phase, the growth will fall off. This is a standard hair growth cycle. When it is a telogen phase, one will experience the hair loss more. Most of the time, people complain about hair loss. When somebody is losing more than 100-150 hair in a day, we call it as a hair fall. But if somebody is losing less than 100 hair per day, we cannot call it hair loss as it is astandard thing happening. Along with if you are not getting hair growth properly, we consider it as a hair loss and we seek for the proper treatment. The hair loss can be because of many factors. First is the hereditary factor. If your parents or any relative were suffering from hair loss, you will also suffer from the same. 2nd is a diet. Nowadays, everyone is eating junk food. Because of this, we are not consuming proper nutrients, proteins in our daily diet. Hair is made up of protein which we call as keratin. So, we should eat more protein.
