Hello, Gaining weight is a slow process which requires patience and dedication! It not only depends upon the amount of food you consume daily, but also about eating Sensibly, depends upon your genes, your body's proper metabolism, assimilation and absorption, the levels of stress/ tension in your life, and any underlying medical condition you have! The food what and how you eat, makes the difference! For increasing your weight, concentrate on the below points (if you don’t have any medical condition) which helps in gaining weight in a right way without harming your body. - Consume more healthy fats. Foods containing healthy fats are full of nutrients and also high in calories, making them a great option for weight gain. Foods containing plant fats should be your first option - this includes items such as nuts, seeds, peanut butter, avocados and olive oil. Foods containing healthy animals fats include lean meats and full fat dairy products - although if you have high cholesterol, you should probably stick to low-fat options. -Eat more protein. Good sources of protein include lean meat, fish and poultry, in addition to eggs, whole grains, dairy products and legumes. -Drink more calories. Try drinking a large glass of orange juice in the mornings (along with your normal breakfast). Drink a glass or two of full-cream milk throughout the day. -Have 6 small and frequent meals in a day. -Gain muscle mass. It's a good idea to continue to exercise while you attempt to gain weight the healthy way. Strength training includes working with weights and performing exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bench presses, bicep curls, crunches, chin-ups and leg curls. Just keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more calories you will need to consume to replace those you lost while working out. -Quit smoking. As it suppresses the appetite. -Stay healthy. The most important thing through the entire weight gain process is to stay healthy - eating a balanced diet and continuing to exercise throughout. -Take enough of rest and sleep for rejuvenation of the cells and tissues. -Think Positive which will help you in achieving your target of gaining weight. -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension. Medication: Take Schwabe’s Alfaalfa Tonic and Five Phos. Both thrice daily ½ an hour before meals for 3 months. Revert.

HI, For pimples take Tabs Hepar sulphuris pentarkan (DR WILMAR SHAWBE) 2tabs to be chewed twice a day for 1mth Avoid junkfood,spicy ,fried food. Drink plenty of water (3-4liters /per day) minimum Eat salads everyday (carrots,cucumber,beetroot) Use cream Calendula Nectar Apply this cream twice a day

Hi. Drink water after you brush. Try this for few days and inform me. This usually helps. This might be due to the acid production in your stomach.

I had abdomen scanning, CBP blood test, LFT and endoscopy. Everything is normal but endoscopy report shows congestive gastropathy. I had that test as I am suffering with chronic constipation. Also my stools appear to be dark. Kindly suggest. I do not have further complications except gastric problem sometimes.

Hello sir, I donated blood twice three years ago, after donating blood I started loosing my hairs. I observed it when I donated the second time because a severe hairfall started after second blood donation. Now its been three years and hair fall its still not gone. Hi , I think hair fall is not due to blood donation. You have not given full details, let me know- 1. What is your age and since how long you have this problem? 2. Do you have dry skin? 3. Do you have dandruff? 4. Have you history of any serious illness. 5. Do you have anaemia? can be checked from report of blood test. 6. Is it hereditary in your family? we have good homoeo treatment-the treatment is very much dependent on your age and detailed description of your complaints- you may opt for private consultation giving detailed information. In the meanwhile, please start taking the following medicines-. 1. Natrum mur 6x----4 tabs twice daily 2. Kali sulph 6x---- 4 tabs twice daily 3. Acid phos 200----one dose (6 to 8 pills) in 2 days. Hi, abdominal crunches could help in reducing stomach fat. Try having warm lemon water with honey every morning. Below tips could help you start your weight-loss journery. 1. Never eat a snack out of a carton or a cover. Always use a cup or a plate to so you know how much you are eating. 2. Have atleast one bright colored fruit and one bright colored vegetable a day 3. Take a small snack box to office with almonds, walnuts and other dry fruits to satisfy your cravings 4. Try to have your dinner by 8 so that you are not too hungry and also make healthy choices at dinner. 5. People who eat breakfast have a better success rate at losing weight. 6. Beware of zero trans fat and fat free foods as you might end up eating high sugar and carb containing foods. 7. People who are emotional eaters learn to identify the emotion that makes you eat unhealthy food and try diverting your mind to something else you love 8. If your plates are too big trade them off for a 9 inch plates 9. Replace your weighing scale with a tape measure. 10. Nutritious whole grains include oats, brown rice, quinoa, air-popped popcorn and barley. For convenient options, choose prepared foods such as breads, cereals, crackers and pastas that list whole grains as a main ingredient. Protein plays an important role in tissue repair and immune function. Choose sources low in saturated fats, such as beans, lentils, skinless white-meat poultry and fish. Avoid saturated fat sources, such as red and processed meats, that can increase inflammation. Cold-water fish, such as salmon and sardines, avoid alcohol and highly caffeinated drinks, such as energy drinks and coffee, which can interfere with rest. Stop smoking. You're more likely to get pneumonia if you smoke. Avoid people who have infections that sometimes lead to pneumonia. Stay away from people who have colds, the flu, or other respiratory tract infections. If you haven't had measles or chickenpox or if you didn't get vaccines against these diseases, avoid people who have them. Wash your hands often. This helps prevent the spread of viruses and bacteria that may cause pneumonia. Get plenty of rest. Drink plenty of fluids to prevent dehydration. Hello lybrate user im giving you some important tips to follow up, 1. Drink water, especially before meals. 2. Eat high proteins in breakfast 3. Drink green tea at least twice a day. 4. Dear, you can get a healthy muscular body by following methods: - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly for proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6.
