I want to know weather I can loose belly fat and at the same time gain muscle as I am hitting gym and taking whey protein supplement. I have come to know that if we jog too much we ll end up using more calories than we take and will start loosing muscle too with belly fat. To gain muscle and as well as remain lean you have to eat clean and do heavy weight training for 3 times a week and cardio 3 times a week. Food should comprise of optimum 1st class proteins, minimum starches, healthy fats lots of vegetables and fruits and drink enough water. Doesn't mean if you take whey protein you will become lean and gain muscle. Your rest of the diet has to be perfect along with the exercise. Whey protein is a wonderful supplement to be taken post training but it will work well only when your rest of the diet is perfect.

You take homoeo medicine belladonna 30 (6 to 8 pills) --3 times (hourly) in the morning and arsenicum iode 30---3 times (hourly) in the evening for 4 days. Take complete rest and have easily digestible light food.

This problem may be due to some infection in the tract or even a result of small calculi in the kidneys so first do one cue I.e complete urine analysis and get a usg (sonography) of abdomen and pelvis done. U can also have a glass of water in which coriander seeds and whole cumin (jeera has been soaked overnight) this will help in reducing the frequency of urination to some extent.

You can stop the medicine whenever you wish to get pregnant, and start trying for pregnancy right after that. However, it is advisable to get your preconceptional checkup done at least 3 months prior to when you conceive as well as start taking folic acid supplements.

4- �5 years back I start feeling weakness / little pain in the below part of the left feet. I was feeling difficult to in walking due to left feet weakness. I went to Govt. Hospital 2 times. Doctors give me medicine and oil for massage. But there was no improvement. Then I visited to private hospitals 2�-3 times. They take some medical test and give medicine / massage oil. But there was not any improvement in the left feet. After 2-�3 year I start feeling weakness in left knee (voice when left knee is bend) and after some time start feeling weakness in left buttock. Weakness in left feet, left knee and left buttock has make difficult for me to walk and to sit on ground and on chair. Uric acid and all other reports are normal. I have consumedso many medicine written on prescription slips in last 4-�5 years but there is no improvement. Kindly suggest / recommend way out in detail to resolve weakness / little pain in below left feet, weakness in left knee and weakness in left buttock to resolve my problem while walking and while sitting on ground / on chair.

Hello lybrate-user one thing I can suggest is that even though there is pain, see that you do not limit your movement. Small movements of individual joints where the pain is located will help keep it lubricated and working. See that you consume green leafy vegetables and soy milk instead of cows' milk to get your calcium. Another advise would be to start with homoeopathic biochemic tablets: calcare fluorica 6x, take 4 tablets each time before breakfast, lunch and dinner. The 4 tablets must be dissolved in half a cup of warm water and the entire water must be consumed 10 minutes before meals.

Hands are the most used parts of our body but when it comes to care they are the last ones to receive it. So here are some tips to keep them happy, beautiful , young and healthy forever:

1. Olive oil : Massage your hands with some warm olive oil for 5 to 10 minutes twice daily to enjoy soft and smooth hands. Olive oil has anti - ageing effects also.

2. Oatmeal : It is a natural cleanser and an exfoliater. Also its protein content locks the skin moisture inside keeping them soft. Prepare a mixture with 2 tablespoons of ground oatmeal, ½ to 1 teaspoon of honey and a little water to make a paste. You can also add a little freshly squeezed lemon juice.Rub this mixture on your hands.Leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water.

3. Coconut oil:It is not only good for dry skin but also soothes the skin damaged by UV rays. Apply warm extra-virgin coconut oil on your hands.Massage for about 5 minutes using circular motions before going to bed everyday.

4. Milk cream : A natrural moisturizer, an exfoliater and the skin ph maintainer. So rub some fresh milk cream on your hands. Allow it to sit for 10 minutes, then rinse off your hands thoroughly with lukewarm water. You can use this remedy daily.

5. Honey : An antioxidant with anti ageing effects. Mix equal amounts of honey and glycerin. Apply it on your hands, wait 10 minutes and then rinse it off with lukewarm water. Do this once daily.

6. Lemon juice: Its a cleanser and lightens any spots on skin. Add the juice of 1 lemon and some honey to a small tub filled with lukewarm water. Soak your hands in it for about 10 minutes. Pat dry, then apply a little bit of vitamin E oil or olive oil to maintain the moisture level of your skin. Use this remedy a few times a week.

The basic difference between curd and buttermilk is the process of dilution by the addition of water. The more water you put in curd, the less concentrated the buttermilk becomes. According to Ayurveda, the churning (montana) of the curd into buttermilk, gives it additional properties. Churning induces the proteins in the buttermilk to be easily digested due to their degraded structure.

If there is no issue of pregnancy then you should wait for some more days for the menses to stop and then observe for a month before seeking any medical help or treatment for this. Hormonal changes can cause this and is not uncommon among young girls.

Hi, Thank you for seeking help on Lybrate. I can not' even imagine the stress you must be going through to the point of having suicidal thoughts. To assess and help you properly I need to understand what Kind of negative thoughts do you have, if there are any stress in life. Negative thinking can be a habit of mind. Thoughts sink in and linger there until you take action to get rid of them. When you first start thinking negatively, it can be tempting to try and force those thoughts out of your head. You try as hard as possible to stop thinking about them and push them out. But this approach often backfires. Resisting those negative thoughts can actually reinforce that thinking pattern and just make things worse. The more you try not to think about something, the more you actually end up thinking about it. To get rid of negative thinking, you need to try a different approach – something that will clear your mind of those negative thoughts once and for all. Here are seven ways to clear your mind of negative thinking. 1. Change your body language Take a moment to observe your body language. Are you slouching with a closed stance? Are you frowning? If you are, you’re more likely to think negatively. Bad body language can lower your self-image and lead to a lack of confidence. In that emotional state, it’s only natural to start having bad thoughts. Sit up straight in a confident manner. Open your stance and smile more. Fix your body language and you’ll feel a lot better. It might be just what you need to clear those negative thoughts. 2. Talk it out Sometimes negative thinking occurs because you have issues or emotions you need to get out. It’s not good to keep things to yourself. If you have something that needs to be addressed, you should talk through them with someone. Putting things into words gives your thoughts shape and form. That can help you put things into perspective so you can deal with them at the root of the problem. 3. Spend one minute calming your mind of all thought When your mind is running a mile a minute, it can be hard to keep up. With everything racing around your head, it can be hard to control the thoughts going on inside – especially the negative ones. Slow things down. One minute of calming is often all it takes. It’s kind of like meditation – you’re emptying your mind. Think of it as a reboot. Once it’s empty, you can fill it with something a little more positive. 4. Change the tone of your thoughts Sometimes negative thinking is the result of poor perspective. Take a look at the point of view you take on the things going on around you. For example, instead of thinking, “I’m going through a difficult time and I’m having trouble,” think “I’m facing some challenges, but I’m working on finding solutions.” You’re basically saying the same thing, except the second way has a more positive spin to it. But sometimes that little tonal shift can make a huge difference to your thinking patterns. 5. Be creative When negative thoughts come, it can pay to spend some time creatively. Find a creative outlet for your thoughts. Write things out. Draw or paintsomething – even if you have to use a crayon. As long as you’re using your creativity to get your negativity out, it can work. Exploring your emotions through creativity acts like auto-therapy and can elevate your mood. Creativity can feel like a release. When you put your emotions through an art form, you get them out of your system and clear them out. 6. Take a walk Because thoughts arise in the mind, it’s easy to assume that’s where they’re formed. Well, that’s only partly true. Sometimes our thoughts are a product of our environment. For example, if you surrounded yourself with negative people and negative imagery, you’d probably start to think negatively in turn. Stepping away from a negative environment can help immensely. Take a walk alone away from your usual atmosphere. Head somewhere uplifting like a park or museum. Time spent distancing yourself from those negative influences can bring you great peace of mind. 7. Start listing out what you’re grateful for Have you forgotten all the good things you have going for you? Sometimes in the daily grind, we lose focus on all the ways things that are going right in our lives. If that’s you, then you need to re-train your mind to focus on all the good happening around you instead of the bad. List off everything you’re grateful for no matter how small they seem to be. For constipation, drink lots of water, have flax seeds and fibre. You can have caffeine, There’s a reason the evening walk used to be called the daily constitutional. Regular exercise helps your body move food quicker. Aim for a daily walk at the very least. Consult me for same. All the best.
