Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Hi lybrate-user Eat with your eyes and your mind Make sure your dinner table has a spread of colours like yellow, green, red, orange, white. Add a lot of different fresh seasonal vegetables, raw salads and herbs. This will not only be pleasing to your palate by providing a burst of flavour but will also give it an aesthetic appeal, so the meal doesn’t look boring and monotonous. While you sit to eat, do not just shove the food in your mouth and gulp it down. The idea is to go slow, and enjoy the entire experience, relish your food as you chew it properly to enjoy every flavour in every bite. Focus on what you are eating the texture, the visual appeal, the aroma of the dish. Eating mindfully will make it an enjoyable experience while assisting in better digestion, make you feel more fuller by avoiding overeating and prevent a lot of stomach distress like gas, bloating or acidity Take small portion Eating a smaller portion of food at a time helps in the breakdown of the food in an effective way so that the entire calories obtained from the food are used up by the body for all the bodily functions. When you eat a large meal, the excess energy which goes unused by the system gets stored as fat and causes weight gain. A good idea would be to use smaller plates so the plate looks fuller and psychologically makes you feel that you have eaten enough while eating from a larger plate makes you pile up your plate with more food which in turn makes you eat more calories. Fill up your stomach only up to 80% We have been raised to eat until we are absolutely full so we don’t feel hungry later. Either that or because traditionally Indian consider it a taboo to leave any food on the plates so we eat off the kids plates because he/she won’t eat anymore, also we have seen our moms finish the leftover paratha or grab an extra spoon rice even if they are not too hungry, just so that they don’t have to throw it away as they are usually the last ones to eat. Not realising how much damage we are doing to our bodies by eating more than what our body needs. However, it is better to stuff ourselves and only eat until we feel adequately full. Yes, you will feel hungry after few hours and that ok. It only means less pressure on your intestines and delaying the ageing process of the cells which can prevent heart attacks, diabetes and cancer. Eat small snacks every few hours. Having said that eating till you are 80% full will make you hungry for more, it is a good practice to eat 5-6 meals a day instead of the traditional 3 meal pattern of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat a healthy snack like a fresh whole fruit or nuts like almonds, walnuts, unsalted peanuts, pumpkin seeds, low fat curd or unsalted chaas, hard boiled eggs between main meals every 2-3 hours. This will help to keep you burning more calories throughout the day as the digestion process continuous to keep your metabolism up and running. Also, your body will thank you for feeling light and energetic throughout the day because of the regular supply of an array of nutrients and maintaining your blood sugar levels Have a light supper or dinner As they say, Eat breakfast like a King, Lunch like a commoner and dinner like a popper it is important to start the day with a filling wholesome breakfast to kick start your metabolism and taper down your meals as the sun goes down. Your last meal should happen atleast 3 hours before your bedtime so the body has enough time to digest the meal properly before you go to bed. If you eat a heavy meal too close to bedtime, the body cannot digest it properly leading to indigestion, acid reflux, disturbed sleep making you wake up next morning feeling sluggish and tired. As the day goes the body tends to slow down and to go into a repair and recovery mode to heal the body from the days stress and wear and tear. Also, since we are not physically active in the night time all the excess calories get stored as fat in the body Eat vegetables first Vegetables are full of fibre and when you consume them first, this fibre helps to cover whatever is eaten after and inhibits insulin spikes and the speed at which sugar is transported into the blood. Proteins such as fish, chicken, paneer or sprouts are harder to digest when they are eaten first and everything else eaten after would take time making you feel bloated. Raw vegetables contain a digestive enzyme that helps break down proteins. Eat more fiber Eating more fiber, makes feel fuller, can increase satiety and makes you lose weight. Make sure you eat about 3-4 servings of fruits and vegetables, raw or cooked throughout the day Reduce sugar as much as possible Tips for quick weight loss \ blogs \ Just for Hearts Tips for quick weight loss \ blogs \ Just for Hearts To achieve a flatter belly, make sure you have as low as zero grams of sugar. Opt for healthier natural sweetener such as honey, dates, dates syrup, figs but don’t overdo it. This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Hello, an endometrial biopsy may be required to rule out any endometrial cancer in her case as she has been loosing weight and I am not sure if she has been bleeding heavy as well and may be anaemic as well.

For shoulder pain apply jhandu balm and cover it with a tight crape bandage. For fever drink shyam tulsi kaadha in morning and add 5 gram ginger and half leaf of bitter neem. Make a paste of all the three things and boil in 75 ml water drink this herbal tea twice a day you will be alright in two days but you have to continue drinking this herbal tea for 30 days regularly. Proper diet and exercise is always good. But supplement are harm full if taking for long time. Better avoid it.

My dad - 71 years - he had ptca done in 1997 and was also diagnosed with diabetes. Till aug 2014 it was all working well with minimal drugs - diabetes under control through diet etc and cholesterol levels quite normal. However, last year in aug-14, he had high fever and got unconscious (10-15 minutes)/fallen down on the way to bathroom and fractured his leg. He does not remember what happened. Got admitted and was administered with antibiotics (novosafe). Meanwhile got catheter inserted as he was not able to pass urine and/or move because of fractured leg. Got released from hospital after 6-7 days but soon after two days again got high fever again and fell unconscious again. Gave bit of sugar and took to hospital - he felt much better by the time he reached to hospital and wsa hospitalized. Doctors suspected uti and diagnosed hypoglycemia. After that he had high fever 2 times and novosafe, piptaz courses for 6-7 days each time worked. Doctor suggested urine culture this jan 2015 and" susceptible to colistin" was found. We got 10 day course of colistin followed by 1 month course of niftas. He did not get high fever of 4-5 days after that. However got fever 5-6 times -- 100-101 degree - for a day or two with normal antibiotics gets over. Each time normal urine test showed few puss cells and couple of times off late not even those. Urine test was quite normal. We observed that high fever occurred after some physical exertion earlier 3-4 times but later 5-6 times after colistin course no such co-relation and got urine test done and puss cells were found very low/none. Usg and uriflowmetry was done in may-15 and not found any issues except that prostate slightly enlarged (which was noticed even in usg in aug 14) and for which doctor advised not to do any procedure except have tamdura (1 at bed time for 2 months) and take nurokind (1 every day for two months). Urologist does not think its recurrent uti case at least anymore. Diabetologist does not think its due to diabetes. Heart specialist also thinks nothing wrong there as lipid profile and color doppler showed normal. However, fever has been repeating every 15-20 days though puss cells are not found now. Every time he gets bit unconscious (5-10 minutes) - starts with some fever. Heavy eys. Getting unconscious. Expert suggested to consult now neuro-physician and cardiologist after usg and carotid doppler tests. Also, another expert doctor suggested it may be yers of diabetes causing the same. However, he suggested urine culture with sensitivity analysis including test for suspected fungiurea and atypical mycobacterial uti to rule out its uti. Not sure what to do (tried to keep it as brief and can give more details).

Take natural 2-tab. Charcoal at night before bed. Syp. Livoluk 10 ml at night.This can help cure in constipation. take green veg., salaad in meal.grapes at night,one apple daily in morning. Banana in morning, juice,whole grain ,oats,more fiber meal,digestive foods, plenty of water during day and 1 glass of water before meal, avoid bad habits...stress ,alcohol, smoking, non-veg.,avoid fatty meal,oily foods. To confirm cause of constipation you may go for tests stool r/m, stool c/s,lft,blood sugar,cbc,usg whole abdomen ,x ray barium meal for examination for rectum,sigmoid, best tests is endoscopy for large intestine .
