How much diet I will need per day if I want to maintain my body muscular without going gym but only by eating food.
Dear you can easily gain weight and get a healthy muscular body by following these best things - 1. To gain weight, your digestion should work properly. If you have any disease of digestive system you should treat disease first. For proper digestion - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. 2. Take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calorie food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of protein powder with breakfast. * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 2 bananas. * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely. 6. You can try protein powders like endura mass, milk powder, soya protein. And creatinine for weight gain by taking 1 tea spoon added in milk once a day. I assure you that you definitely gain weight fastly by following them. Be healthy.

pl.give details about that your body is heating. and You can control cholesterol / hdl / ldl/t.g. and obesity by using following flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take . green veg., whole grain foods, spicy foods, Use GARLIC in foods daily ,. Cod liver oil. Low sugar foods, low calories foods. Change own life style . do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily in morning and evening, do any one physically activity daily i.e. play any game., Avoid fast foods, oily foods, alcohol,smoking, fatty foods, non-veg., avoid stress, take plenty of water in day time. one important that is take 1 glass of water before bed at night. Because it protect from heart fail during sleep at night.

Carbohydrates should be restricted to 45 gms per day more than that is bad for any one if you need any clarification / have doubts / have additional questions / have follow up questions.

Hi lybrate-user High levels of cholesterol are related to the intake of processed foods, sedentary lifestyle, nutrient deficiencies and stress. Many people think that cholesterol diet is directly responsible for cholesterol in the blood. So, all they have to do is to cut out high – cholesterol foods and their blood cholesterol will become normal. This is a misconception. Merely cutting down on the cholesterol diet will have a very little, almost an insignificant effect on blood cholesterol. It is important to know how to reduce and control cholesterol by relying on a good diet. When the body is fed with high cholesterol foods like eggs, red meat, high-fat dairy products, the excess cholesterol is metabolised and excreted leaving blood levels unchanged. Furthermore, the liver compensates for the excess intake of cholesterol by reducing its production so that the blood levels of cholesterol do not rise. All this happens if the person is leading a healthy lifestyle, consuming a lot of antioxidants in the form of fruits and vegetables; eating whole food in the form of whole grain cereals, whole grain pulses & avoiding processed & refined foods in addition to exercising. All these factors protect from the mishandling of dietary cholesterol. On the other hand if you are living a life of stress and eating the regular fast-food fare as well as a diet rich in cholesterol namely eggs, red meat and saturated fat in animal foods, then your body will metabolise the cholesterol diet differently. The liver then does not act as a safeguard; instead it allows the excess cholesterol diet to enter the blood stream and subsequently stores it in the blood vessels and coronary arteries. Such people get affected by cholesterol rich foods and benefit from knowing how to reduce their dietary cholesterol intake. This only justifies the phrase one man’s food is another man’s poison. Whatever be the reason of raising blood cholesterol, the answer is quite simple. When you increase your intake of soluble fibre, it helps bring down the blood cholesterol dramatically. The point to note here is that fibre occurs exclusively in plant food. Animal foods like chicken, fish, meat, beef, cheese, eggs, milk have little or no fibre to boast of. Fresh, raw fruits and vegetables especially the way we do it in Indian cooking (soggy and overcooked) destroy much fibre. Juices have little or no fibre. Similarly unrefined grains products like dhalia (broken wheat), whole wheat flour, wheat puffs, Brown Rice, Jowar & Bajra flour, whole dals like channa, rajhma, chowli, beans, black dal etc. High in fibre. Control cholesterol with breads and biscuits that high in fibre will list ‘whole wheat flour’ and not just wheat flour, as their chief ingredient on the label. Wheat bran is one of the highest fibre foods known because its fibre content is about 50%. There is no doubt that a diet rich in soluble fibre can lower blood cholesterol, blood pressure & prevent strokes as well as heart attacks. Soluble fibre is found in oat bran, fruits and vegetables. It has a powerful impact on the body’s metabolism of sugar and fats. So, how much fibre should you eat? It has been seen that in most Asian countries incidence of heart disease and diabetes is low. How to reduce cholesterol is a general question that everyone asks. People in these countries consume anywhere between 40-60gms of fibre per day. But an intake of 40-45gms of fibre is recommended to prevent heart disease. In the metros; however, the diet pattern is similar to the western countries; hence, the incidence of heart disease is more in the metros. To increase the fibre content of your diet and thereby reduce or control cholesterol levels all you have to do is: Switch to this Instead of this Unpeeled fruits and vegetable Whole wheat bread (please note whole wheat bread is not the same as brown bread). Fresh fruits Brown Rice or Wild Rice Oat Bran Whole grain dals like channa & rajhma, black dal chowli, green mung. Whole wheat bread. Popped corn and puffed wheat Snack on high fibre biscuits like those made from millets or bran or soya bean or whole wheat flour. Peeled fruits and vegetables White bread Fruit juices Polished white rice Instant Oatmeal Animal protein White flour (maida) Potato chips & fried sev Maida biscuits, where the label reads as ‘wheat flour’ as their main ingredients.

My girl friend should get periods after 13th march but she didn't get. We had unprotected sex many times after 1st march 2016. Today is April 1st and still she doesn't have her periods. I insisted her to eat papaya bcos I heard that I can terminate pregnancy.

Papaya will never work for terminating pregnancy. As she has missed her periods, she should get urine pregnancy test done to find out pregnancy. Only is pregnancy is confirmed, then it can be terminated with the pill by which abortion occurs naturally. It can be done only till 7 weeks so please hurry to get this done as she is already 6 weeks, if she is pregnant.

Hello, Doing exercises regularly will not only cut down your belly fat, but also you will get a body in good shape and you will be get rid of many diseases related to it! Following exercises will help you to achieve this if you don’t have any other medical condition: 1.The Plank - Lie down on your tummy and then come on your palms and toes.Lift the knees off the floor. Draw your tummy muscles up and breathe deeply into the side and back of the rib cage. Aim to hold the pose for 30 seconds. 2.Static Tiger pose - Place your hands and knees on the floor. This is the starting position. Now lift up one leg and extend the opposite arm. Hold this Static Tiger Pose for 3 deep breaths. Come back to the starting position and swap sides, extending arm and opposite leg. You can look down towards the mat to keep the spine in line. This exercise will build core strength. 3.Sitting Spinal Twist - Sit on the floor and cross your legs. Place one hand next to your hip and the other on the knee. Rotate the spine and look over one shoulder into a Sitting Spinal Twist. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. Swap sides, rotating and looking over the shoulder. Inhale. Exhale back to centre. 4.Stomach Crunches - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Place your hands on your thighs, across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your knees until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 stomach crunches. 5.Oblique Crunch - Lie on your back, knees bent and feet flat on the floor, hip-width apart. Roll your knees to one side down to the floor. Place your hands across your chest or behind your ears. Slowly curl up towards your hips until your shoulders are about three inches off the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds and lower down slowly. Perform 12 oblique crunches and repeat on the opposite side. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

Dear lybrate user, for prevention of hair fall follow these instructions: * do not take a lot of stress and take proper sleep of 6 - 7 hours. Do meditation to destress yourself. You can do pranayams or take long deep breaths whlie closing your eyes I a peaceful environment for at least 8-10 minutes. * add protein containing items in your foods for healthy hair growth such as take a bowl of cereal daily and a glass of milk or 100 gm cheese or 1-2 eggs. * to reduce hairfall and whitening of hairs, practice yogasana like shirshasana and sarwangasana only under the guidance of expert. * you can use mahabhringraj oil and apply it 3 times in a week massage your scalp for 10 to 15 minutes daily. It increases blood circulation in your scalp and enhances hair growth. * avoid intake of any medicines because they cause toxicity & hairfall. * avoid the excess use of products such as hair colours or shampoo. * take vitamin-e rich foods like dry fruits (almonds, pista etc) daily. * take 1/2 teaspoon of amla powder with water once a day. * apply the egg yolk to the scalp atleast once a week. It gives nourishment to hair root and enhances hair growth. * checkout your thyroid profile & take proper treatment of thyroid disorder.

Function of shampoo is to clean the scalp. Hair roots are situated inside the scalp and they get nutrition through blood. Food rich in minerals, protein and iron is good for hair. Oil the scalp 3/week and wash it 3/week. Loosing 50 to 100 strands of hair per day is normal as growth: fall ratio is 80: 20. Consult trichologist for treatment.

Hi, take tab. Dolo 650 mg 1-1-1 after food for 1-2 days. Keep recording your temparature. If it is too high, do tepid sponging. Wear loose cotton garments. Drink plenty of fluids. Consume light and easily digestable food. Drink boiled and cooled water.

No malaria cannot spread from person to person or physical touch unless there is a mosquito bite, vector of this disease is a mosquito. Fever with chills, headache, vomiting, weakness, fever going above 101-102, skin rash etc.

Dear lybrate-user, I understand your worries. Your requirements for medicine is a bit higher for your age and duration of diabetes. Tired or exhausted pancreas unable to secrete insulin in optimum amount along with mental stress and physical inactivity may be contributing to such high sugars. You need to become physically very active, regular with healthy food habits and if possible learn some kind of stress management techniques like aol i. E art of living or vipassana. Also follow up with diabetologist regularly with self monitoring of blood glucose (smbg). If required your doctor may advise insulin for a period. Hope this helps you!
