I am in army and last one year I am suffering from knee pain. I am not sitting in sukhasan.
Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport you need detail assessment with a physiotherapist to find out what causing you this pain and pain management. Dear lybrate-user, radiating pain from back to leg is a symptom of disc bulging or spondylitis. Go for mri of lumbar spine and with reports consult in person with physiotherapist for proper treatment. Home remedies sometimes will not work.

I have Grade 3 acl tear in knee joint moreover there is evidence of tear in posterior horns of medial and lateral menisci reaching the inferior articular surface if i'll posture my surgery for 1 month does it further effect my knee In what time i" ll go for my surgery.

ACL surgery is best done 6 weeks post injury. The longer you leave it the extent of meniscal tear can increase.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

My ring fingers both the hands getting locked in the morning hours. And slowly bending as they expose to heat or so. I discovered as trigger finger. I am diabetic too. Type 2. Past 4 years problem. I love guitar, keyboard and driving too. Partial pain or stiffness is always there. Please suggest me some home therapy or exercise. Thanks in advance.

Trigger finger means locked movement for all time and surgery must but your stiffness is only in morning time so not trigger finger. Do wax therapy and ultrasonic therapy for 15 days firstly five days avoid movement then start finger movement and avoid guitar and keyboard for few days avoid home remedy.

Your mother suffering back pain but do not worry because this tyep of pain comen, after 40, 50 year problam should come lake of vitamin, mineral, cacium defication, do not worry gentalman, advise some homeopathy remedy hypericum30, acidum oxidcum30 both three time 4 goli give him hope that solve problam ten days after ten days cosult with me.

I have knee joint pain since 2 years. I have consulted with Dr. and he given some calcium tablets. I have checked CRP. RA factor. ESR. Uric acid. Everything is normal The pain will be more in cold. What I can do next?

I am 60 year old. I am suffering for the past 4 months heavy joint pain in left knee. Have consulted otho and as advised have gone for physiotherapy. It has ultimately increased and no relief. Need correct guidance.

Adv: x rays of both knee joints (digital) this could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikid plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. Do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don't ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.
