No oil helps to relieve pain due to arthritis. It will just relax the muscles. Personally no need for massage good physiotherapy helps.

Hi... Avoid long standing and bending works till your pain subsides... Do back strengthening exercises,avoid bending work and heavy weight lift,sleep on hard mattress...with this u may feel better

May be there are any deficiency as vitamin d, b12, calcium, so please consult orthopaedic Dr. Take food timely, 3 to 4 ltr water minimum. Regular walk.

Myopathy is usually a progressive disorder but sometimes it is self arrested. Do physiotherapy to prevent contractures & deformities. Rule out diabetes & vit.D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Following may help Inj Dinabol 25 mg IM weekly x 6wks. You will need other supportive medicines also. This disease does not affect the intelligence of the patient Use your intelligence. You can work on computer etc. Keep your MORAL UP. Keep me informed of your progress & follow up. God bless you.

Hello, Avoid Running and fast walking till your pain subsided 1. You can apply volini gel 1% local application twice a day for 3-5 days 2. You can do massage with olive/ castor oil before sleeping 3. Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days 4. Avoid wearing tight and hard sole foot wears Consult privately for further management

Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Hello lybrate user, ganglion is a benign swelling and has distinct borders that are easily separable from normal tissue. It can either arise from a joint or tendon sheath. It usually does not have a tendency to infiltrate nerves out blood vessels. But then again, ganglion is an asymptomatic swelling and should not cause you much problems except for the cosmetic concern. If you are really facing problems with it like pain, restriction from movements, or if very large, you can go in for a surgical excision. We usually also do not advise an mri for a ganglion. But if your doctor has got it done, then there might be some concern in your case. You may get a radiologist to report on it or take another surgeon's opinion. But he will have to look at all your reports and mri pictures as well.

One sided back pain in young age is commonly due to muscle strain resulting from incorrect posture. Follow these to get relief. 1. Take anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen round the clock for pain relief for 3 days. 2. Take rest for 3 to 4 days but avoid total bed rest. 4. Do back strengthening and stretching exercises daily once pain is relieved. 5. Apply analgesic cream over back followed by warm fomentation. 6. Keep pillow behind your knees at bedtime. While sleeping on sides keep pillow between knees. 7. Do not bend and lift weights. For further queries consult again.
