Sir I am suffering from cough. More bulgum feel at my throat. I am suffer since last week. I can't sleep due to cough.
The mucous that you are having is because of the excessive production of it from the nose which drips from the back of the throat (it is called post nasal drip) & this is the main cause of the cough. Taking a mucolytic will make the mucous thinner & then can be removed more easily through coughing.

My mother had suffering from asthma since her childhood. What can I do against it she is 31 years. And using inhaler regularly.

DAA, DNB
Pulmonologist, Bangalore
Hi. If a person is having asthma and is on regular inhalers, she needs to be assessed with a pulmonary function test / pft to assess the severity of the disease and her asthma can definitely be controlled so that she is symptom free with regular follow up with a pulmonologist.

A respiratory condition marked by attacks of spasm in the bronchi of the lungs, causing difficulty in breathing. It is usually connected to allergic reaction or other forms of hypersensitivity Description To understand asthma, it helps to know how the airways work. The airways are tubes that carry air into and out of your lungs. People who have asthma have inflamed airways. The inflammation makes the airways swollen and very sensitive. The airways tend to react strongly to certain inhaled substances. When the airways react, the muscles around them tighten. This narrows the airways, causing less air to flow into the lungs. The swelling also can worsen, making the airways even narrower. Cells in the airways might make more mucus than usual. Mucus is a sticky, thick liquid that can further narrow the airways. This chain reaction can result in asthma symptoms. Symptoms can happen each time the airways are inflamed. Cause Allergy Tobacco Smoke Environmental Factor Obesity Stress Genes Airway Hyperactivity Atopy Allopathic and Homoeopathic Treatment o Most people need to take more than one type of medication to control asthma.
