keep continue ur physio and start mobilisation. and shoulder wheel exercise If u r diabetic then maintain ur diabetes by medicine for better relief. otherwise laser therapy is also option to better relief tk calcium supplements

I am getting pain in left ankle. This pain is worser in the morning when I get up. What should I do. Not sure why this pain arises.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Ankle stretching. Ankle strengthening exercises. Avoid squatting. Quadriceps exercises. Core strenthening exercises. Stretch calves get a custom made insole. Hams stretching. Sports taping. Hot fomentation.

Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Inform after 5 days.

I have not seen your other reports. But from your information you seem to have rheumatoid arthrits. You must be having more pain in the morning for 3-5 hours, pain is in hands and feet, there is no permanent cure for ra. But disease can be kept in control with diet, physical measures, prevention of injuries, medicines.

I have pain on left when pulling the arm upwards. I can lift freely upto my eye level only. It is very difficult to move back ward give me an advice.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Dear lybrate user, back pain is due to postural defect, gastric disorder, traumatic injury. Go for physitheraphy. Take, homoeo medicine. @ rhus tox 200-6 pills, thrice a day. @arnica mont 200-6 pills, thrice a day. Take, plenty of water to eliminate toxins. Your diet b easily digestible, on time. Avoid, jerks, dust smoke, alcohol, smoking, cold intake. Report, wkly, please.

It can be due dehydration or deficiency of calcium and d3. Learn calf and hamstring streching by physiotherapist . keep yourself hydrated. add dairy products in your diet including egg.

You will have to elaborate your problem as to a detailed discussion of your back pain which means duration of pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias ( electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. I had a major vehicle accident 3 years ago and I fractured my right shoulder, so they have put an implant inside and I was under going physiotherapy for one year, now I feel very very close to normal, according to me I have 98% range and flexibility, now my question is, can I go a head and do strong workouts? Is it recommended to get the implant removed? If yes how will it help?

The implants (plates, screws etc.) should be removed when the fracture is healed beyond doubt. Damaged implant is an other indication for removal. Average time for wound healing after implant removal is 7-10 days. If fracture has united, go out for work outs but increase your stamina gradually.

Take chandraprabha vati 1-1 tab twice a day. Take maharasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Avoid tea. Coffee. Junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Walk for atleast 30 minutes a day. Avoid alcohol consumption. Smoking and non vegetarian. Drink lots of juices and plenty of water. Eat green vegetables and salads. Do pranayama early in the morning. Sleep for atleast 7 hours.

you may have developed frozen shoulder due to postoperative syndromes you should consult a orthopedic surgeon and you have to do shoulder exercise in consultation bwithbs physiotherapist. on the advise of surgeon.

This may be muscles spasm or prolapsed disc. You will need Complete rest for 7 days. Use firm bed. Don't lift weight. Do not bend forward. Hot fomantation twice daily. Some medicines will help

Ideally you should recover completely after 5 years of ligament injury. You should go for a physiotherapy rehabilitation program for knee for at least 3 months. Before planning the surgery. As physiotherapy will strengthen your joint and make it more efficient.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to have a persistent back pain as a health issue. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. I am suffering from knee problem. Few days back I accidentally slipped from skate board and my knee was badly hurt. It was and intense pain and I recovered very quickly (2-3 hrs). I visited the doctor to make sure things are ok. They took x-ray and confirmed no issues and it was due to an extreme pressure on ligament and need some careful movement. I recovered and now its more than 3 months. At certain angle, during my normal activity, I loose balance and the same part starts paining. What do you advise?

Pain may be due to remain infection in bursa of knee, sprained ligaments, meniscus tears, tendinitis, and runner's knee. Mild to moderate ones will often get better on their own. To speed the healing, you can: Rest your knee. Take a few days off from intense activity. Ice your knee to curb pain and swelling. Do it for 15-20 minutes every 3-4 hours for 2-3 days or until the pain is gone. Compress your knee. Use an elastic bandage, straps, or sleeves to keep down swelling or add support. Elevate your knee with a pillow under your heel when you're sitting or lying down to reduce swelling. Practice stretching and strengthening exercises. Although you can’t prevent all injuries, you can take these steps to make them less likely. Stop exercising if you feel pain in your knee. Always increase the intensity of your workout gradually. Stretch your legs before and after physical activity. Use kneepads to prevent bursitis, especially if you have to kneel a lot. Wear shoes that fit well and offer enough support. Keep your thigh muscles strong with regular stretching and strengthening. Eat proper and balance diet with rich iron, calciu and multi-vitamins. If still problem of pain in knee remain remain same then you can take homoeopathic treatment by share your complete medical history.

Your main problem is thyroid that is cause of obesity and piles also burning at back. If you are taking medicine for thyroid then continue it and is it controlled with medication or not? some ayurvedic medicine you can use but needs proper consultation. Triphala choorn 2 tsf with leukworm water at bed time after meal. This medicine is reduces your weight and also helpful in piles.
