It depends on your activity level and symptoms. If you have instability symptoms then you should be treated for it. If you are into professional sports then you should be treated aggressively. In any case it is advisable to try focussed physiotherapy for cal insufficiency. Knee brace is temporary.

Hai sir, recently I have met with an accident. My right ankle bone and left collarbones were got fractured. For my ankle I was on pop for 35days. My doctor has removed the pop and suggested me not to walk for 1 month. As I am working I cant spend for tht long by being at home. Please suggest on this.

Can be solved through acupressure/ acupuncture easily. Try this for 3 days. Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Eat nutritious food including green vegetables, dairy products fruits do regular exercise. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Consult after 5 days.

Hi, Take tab. Rhukot 2 tabs 3 times a day and 2 tsf of Maharasnadi Kashaya mixed with equal quantity of water, 3 times a day after food. Apply Dashaanga lepa on the affected joints at night and wash it the next day morning. Rhukot gel may be applied for pain during the day time. Do not give hot water fomentation. Avoid potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet pumpkin, peas, channa, etc food which aggrevates the pain.

All About Lower Back Pain!

Lower back pain? Degeneration of the spine? Lumbar disc problems? Joint pain? Body aches?

For all of the above, the one common solution is popping a calcium or D3 supplement. It’s true though, a deficiency of these vitamins can cause all of the above, but there are many ways of looking at this. You can be popping the best brand of supplements, but remember, it just does not work that way. For calcium to get absorbed into the bones, your D3 levels have to be adequate. If it’s not, your calcium supplement that is being wasted, so are the foods rich in calcium that you are consuming. Furthermore, Vitamin K is such an ignored vitamin, but you should know, Vitamin K is needed for the bones to absorb Calcium. Vitamin K is found in dairy products and green leafy veggies. 

So here’s how it works. For strong and healthy bones, joints and a super strong spine, you need sufficient calcium, D3 and Vitamin K for it to work effectively. I should add in B12 as B12 is necessary for healthy bone marrow, and for the body and spine to grow strong and healthy. Calcium, Vitamin K, Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3A balanced diet should give you all of that.

  • Apart from nutrition, have a look at the points below: 
  • Regular and smart exercise, stretching, warm up and cool downs.
  •  Knowing your tiger muscles and working on flexibility.
  •  DO NOT SIT IN ONE PLACE FOR MORE THAN 30-45 MINUTES.
  • This is too much strain and stress on your lower back/sacrum and it leads to lower back, sciatica and lower body aches and pains.
  • Look for nutrition in fresh and real foods. Supplement only if you have to and if you have a deficiency. 
  • The choice of preventing or healing yourself from pains as such, is all up to you.

Upper Arm Lift - What It Can Do?

There are many changes that take place in our face and body as we start ageing. While the face starts to show the signs of ageing earliest-in the form of wrinkles and fine lines as well as a sagging chin and neck, the effect of ageing on the body might be slightly late. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Avoid alcohol consumption(if u consume). Do pranayama early morning.
