Take an after-dinner walk
Walk during your breaks and at lunch
If possible, schedule a" walking" work meeting
Park in the farthest spot from the grocery store or mall (it is easier parking as well).
Avoid valet parking (saves money too)
Take the stairs instead of elevators or escalators
Walk while your kids practice or warm-up at their sporting events instead of sitting in your comfy chair (this one I know from experience).
Walk to drop off/pickup kids from school.
Take public transportation; walk around the terminal when waiting for the train/bus/light rail.
Walk the dog. Have you heard our pets are getting fatter too?
Avoid the drive-thru. If you must eat at a fast-food establishment, park at the farthest spot and walk in. And, of course, choose a healthier food option!
Walk to visit friends or neighbors.
Like to golf? walk instead of renting the cart.
Read/watch tv on a treadmill (or stationary bike).

What is Depression like?

Depression is the state of mind when a person turns hopeless or helpless. Simply put, it is one of those experiences when one may feel sad, lonely, dejected and discouraged. Doubt, anxiety and uncertainty crawl in so much so that they may lead to problems in decision making. A depressed person feels devoid of energy and the motivation to do anything at all seems to have disappeared. And all this may happen for no reason at all. At least not any that can be explained to even the closest of one's family and friends. Surveys have shown that more than 7% of the world's population suffer from some or the other forms of depression.

Depression Helps Creativity: Myth or Fact?

Moving on to the several popular myths associated with depression, one of the most common ones is that 'Depression increases creativity.' The truth is however exactly the opposite. No, depression does not trigger creativity. In fact, creative geniuses like writers, painters, musicians, etc. seem to be more prone to the threats of depression.

Creativity, like everything else, comes with a price to pay: Worth it or Not?

The reason for the cause-effect relationship between creativity and depression is quite simple yet stunning. Creativity requires sensitivity, which makes one emotionally vulnerable. A creative person tends to think a lot about everything and that is what makes him re-visit the past incidents in his thoughts so frequently that he may feel the bruises over and over again. And this is what leads to depression. Thus, creative people tend to be easy victims of depression. They take everything seriously, observe things and incidents closely, think a lot over things and gauge various possibilities related to every event, big or small vividly and this is what makes them both creative and depressed. Yes, they can connect the dots and create but there is a price to pay. As they say, an artist's mind is a terrible place to visit.

Therefore, depression does not increase creativity. Instead, depression is like a necessary evil for nurturing creativity.

Unfortunately no exercise will reduce breast size. More important is to be mentally not conscious of whatever shape, size colour which has come as natural gift. All are separate and unique. However plastic surgery is only solution if you don't adjust mentally.

Hello- these kinds of symptoms are faced by most women in their early fifties due to menopausal changes in the body physiology. Tomatoes are integral part of indian cooking and diet. This sweet-sour fruit, which is used as a vegetable, has multiple health benefits. It helps build immunity against several ailments because of its rich nutrient content.

8 health problems tomatoes will guard you against.

1) cancer - tomatoes are a rich source of antioxidants and vitamin c. They help fight the formation of free radicals that are said to cause cancer.
2) blood pressure - while someone suffering from blood pressure needs to lower their sodium level, it is also a good idea to increase the level of potassium in the blood. This can be done by eating tomatoes.

You must get checked your thyroid function. As it is not normal to have such secreation in such age we must find its cause but not a serious issue.

Hi, yes it is quite safe in pregnancy as it's a local acting, not absorbed in the gut it helps to relieve constipation which is very common in pregnancy. But i'll suggest the patient to have healthy fiber rich diet e. G. Green vegetables, salads, fruits instead of juice & multigrain atta for chapattis. Must drink plenty of water, regular walk, so she will not need laxatives.

Hello- If you are planning to have sex for the first time it is best you use a condom as the prefered method of contraception. That being said the eight to twenty first day of your menstrual cycle, counting from first day, is considered as the fertile period or the UNSAFE period. Days other than this are considered SAFE, that is, the 1st-7th day of the cycle and then again from the 22nd to the 28th day. But this may not exactly be correct for all women. It depends on the length of your menstrual cycle (it should be exactly a 28 day cycle or little less) and if you have a regular periods cycle. If the cycle is longer than 28 days that, this time frame isn’t reliable.

Recently I had unprotected oral with a man. He tried to penetrate me unprotected and it went in about half an inch and probably not past the sphincter for about 1 second before I left as I felt disgusted. I soon got a cough and blocked nose which have been almost gone due to medication. Yesterday I found a swollen lymph gland on the right of my neck and left armpit. No if you do her during her period, no chance of pregnancy at all but there is chance of catching infections for both as the cervix opens during menses to allow uterine blood to flow out. This sex is better with condom only. If there is pain during sex means she has some injury or infections in her vagina so treat this first.
