6 Positions For Sex During Pregnancy

During pregnancy, your body is subjected to several physiological changes including increased hair fall, continuous indigestion, headaches, development of varicose veins, skin pigmentations and so on. The growing baby bump hinders free movement as well. Quality time with your husband or partner is helpful, but is not the best way to relax you. During pregnancy many partners stop having sex due to body issues. Intercourse is extremely important to comfort an expecting mother. Going by a few sex positions cited below, partners can enjoy pregnancy without a speck of stress.

1. Spooning- In spooning a woman lies on one of her sides while the male partner lies behind her on his left or right side. Both partners should lie on the same side or if not they will end up turning their backs at each other. Penetration happens from behind. This position enables shallow penetration, which is good for the baby.

2. Do it like a clip- In this case two bodies should align like a clip. The man lies on his back while the woman is on the top facing him. Her knees are folded next to him and she is in the shape of an arch. Her hands serve as support as they are firmly placed on the bed behind her arching back. There is ample space for the bump.

3. Perch on him- It is healthier to avoid pressure on the abdominal region when pregnant. Make your man sit on a stable surface; say a stool or a chair. Sit on his lap with your back against his chest. This way the woman can regulate the depth of penetration by moving backward and forward. She is on her toes and her abdomen faces no weight.

4. Do it the Amazon way- The Amazon style of intercourse needs to be carried out on a chair or a stool. The male partner remains seated while the woman sits on his lap facing him with her legs across his sides. The baby bump is comfortably positioned between the partners and the lady takes charge by moving up and down.

5. Doggy style- The doggy style keeps the expecting mother away from exertion. She crouches on her hands and legs while the male partner enters her body from behind.

6. Living Room style- Let your rounded belly rest against the softness of the living room couch. Kneel on the couch to suit your feasibility, while your partner penetrates you from behind. The pregnant woman balances her body by holding on to the couch with her hands.

Hi, this is a very common problem and troubles more in your age group. You should take a healthy diet with lots of fruits and high protein. This might help, but, many times this problem is a result of some kind of imbalance and for that proper medication readily helps. Local treatments with hair oils and shampoos are not very effective and just good for psychological satisfaction.

I am 23 years old male I am having hairfall and when I scratch my head I get something dry and powdery lodged under my nails in great quantity. I do not use any shampoo as I have noticed shampoo causes my hair to thin and fall faster and same goes for conditioner tried this with a lot of brands out there.

Hey lybrate-user, as you have mentioned that your sister is having dry skin. You should consult with a local doctor there. Dry skin can be an early sign of pre psoriasis and should be managed properly. To start with coconut oil is best remedy for dry skin to be applied. It is safe for long term use.

You could be having either balding or plain deficiency related hair loss. Try to shampoo less frequently unless absolutely required. Eat lot of veggies and have a good protein rich diet.

Dandruff is the one of the hair chronic. When we face the dandruff our hair scalp is itching and flaking. It is the worst hair problem faced many people. The dandruff leads to the itching, irritation, hair loss and hair thinning. The regular usage of the shampoos can’t clear the dandruff completely. They just washed the dandruff after 4-5 days dandruff is coming back. There are medicated shampoos in the market to treat the dandruff. Use the homoepathic shampoo and oil along with homoepathic treatment to treat the dandruff. Massage 2 tablespoons of lemon juice into your scalp and let it sit for a minute. Mix 1 teaspoon of lemon juice into 1 cup of water and rinse your hair with it. Repeat daily until no longer needed. While excess oil can be a root cause of dandruff, homoepathic arnica oil can still be helpful in keeping it under control. All time best home remedy to remove dandruff quickly and effectively with fenugreek seeds. Soak 2 tsp of fenugreek (methi) seeds in water overnight. Grind methi seeds into a fine paste the next morning. Apply this paste on the scalp, leave for half an hour and wash off. You can add the lemon juice or curd to the fenugreek paste also. Do not throw the water in which fenugreek seeds were soaked. Use this water as an after-shower hair tonic or last rinse. Follow the regime once in a week. Aloe Vera is a wonderful plant that is available right at your kitchen garden. You have to pluck a leaf, cut it from the middle and extract the gel from there. Apply Aloe vera gel to your scalp and hair before hair wash. It is very effective in treating dandruff & itchy oily scalp. You can also get a soothing touch over your scalp along with eradication of dandruff. Use 2-4 days old curd to do this. All you need to do is apply this curd on to your scalp and hair. If you do at least 30 minutes of exercise a day that is fine. Exercise is best done in the mornings. Studies should be broken into 40-minute blocks of time with at least 15-minute breaks. The ideal time to study is in the mornings and evenings. For better study consider some of the following measures: Daily exercise of at least half an hour is a must. Even if you go to a gym, ask for aerobic and/or callisthenic exercises with whatever else you are doing. A healthy body harbors a healthy mind. With regard to memory, it is very important that your brain and body is ideally rested to be able to recall whatever is required, rather comfortably. Puzzles pose problems to the brain that help it to use new pathways and neurons, which give the brain considerable exercise. It taxes the left brain to use logic to solve the myriad possibilities which other activities do not stimulate. Crosswords are excellent for vocabulary learning and use. Jigsaws and Rubik cube stimulate different permutations to finally settle on the most likely one. Picture completion and anagrams help approach problem-solving from several angles. Do Sudoku, and memory co-relation activities and skills. Have a good night’s sleep, have a good breakfast of more proteins, meditate often, remain free of stress, eat a lot of fiber (whole grains, fruits and vegetables), nuts, avocado, eat dark chocolate, consume less of fat and use olive oil instead, do Yoga meditation exercises, etc. You need to check out if you are stronger visual or auditory. The visual is a better mode than the auditory. However, if you combine the two modes, you will get the best concentration. Have a special place of learning, which should be well lit, with soft painted walls, well-ventilated, with no distractions. When you get bored, study by writing. If you repeat learning, at least, five to seven times, you will apparently remember for a longer time. Sit comfortably but do not slouch. The reading material should be of a fairly large print. Study at small intervals of about 40 minutes and then take a break or change the subject. Short-term memory is a faculty of the left brain, and long-term memory is a feature of the right brain. When people are stressed, they tend to favor the right brain and abandon the left brain, where short-term memory resides. So, it is really very simple: deal with the stress and activate left brain functions. Here are a few suggestions to activate left brain function: shut your left nostril and breathe, move your eyes from right to left and vice versa for at least half a minute at a time, and do callisthenic exercises with some form of counting, regularly. There is a new exercise called Super Brain Yoga, which is done by holding the right earlobe with your left thumb and index finger, and the left earlobe with your right hand’s thumb and index finger. In this position, you must squat down and rise up and do this for five minutes every day. There is some memory enhancing techniques and study methods that your teacher will be able to guide you with. If your home life is full of distractions and stress, it is likely to affect your memory, adversely. In that case, I suggest that the family goes for counseling too. The following foods do help too: Blueberries, walnuts, turmeric, Spinach, tomatoes, broccoli, acorn squash, green tea, oily fish, boiled egg, turkey, apples, oatmeal, leafy greens, lentils, pumpkin seeds, avocado, cinnamon, thyme, sunflower seeds, and red wine. Avoid sugar and junk food. You may also include these noted foods that are good for your brain health: Brain-Friendly Foods MIND stands for Mediterranean-DASH Intervention for Neurodegenerative Delay. But the MIND approach “specifically includes foods and nutrients that medical literature and data show to be good for the brain, such as berries,” says Martha Clare Morris, ScD, director of nutrition and nutritional epidemiology at Rush University Medical Center. You eat things from these 10 food groups: •Green leafy vegetables (like spinach and salad greens): At least six servings a week •Other vegetables: At least one a day •Nuts: Five servings a week •Berries: Two or more servings a week •Beans: At least three servings a week •Whole grains: Three or more servings a day •Fish: Once a week •Poultry (like chicken or turkey): Two times a week •Olive oil: Use it as your main cooking oil. •Wine: One glass a day You avoid: •Red meat: Less than four servings a week •Butter and margarine: Less than a tablespoon daily •Cheese: Less than one serving a week •Pastries and sweets: Less than five servings a week •Fried or fast food: Less than one serving a week.

Dear Srikanth, drinking water on empty stomach is a good habit but throwing up voluntarily while brushing is NOT. The vomiting fluid is acidic and if you develop this habit, the acidic fluid can damage your teeth. Brush gently, clean your tongue properly but don't try to VOMIT.
